Was at my local EB yesterday picking up Bioshock and noticed somebody in front of me buying this PSP game called D&D Tactics. Has anyone heard anything good/bad about this game? Anyone played it yet? I thought about picking it up but I just spent $75 on the Bioshock LE lol.

About a year ago I would have said the DS but now it's all PSP. My DS has been shelved for the past 6 months. Alot of great titles out for the PSP now and more on the way plus being able to play all my favorite PS1 games on it is a huge plus.

World of Warcraft(PC) - I can't seem to pull myself away from this game. MLB The Show '07(PS3) - Best Baseball game since MVP '05 Final Fantasy XII(PS2) - Will probably have this game done by the time XIII comes out.

I love Yasunori Mitsuda so much. Xenogears and Xenosaga Episode I are also his work and superb. Wow, totally forgot about Xenogears. Another great soundtrack!

Agreed. What's funny is, when you're thinking about what move to make next the game will flash a cursor above which gem to move, sorta like a hint to help you out but it's actually trying to help itself out and screw you over. Still a fun game, though!

Same here. I finally got the game running thanks to someone on the official game forum. It required having to edit/add a couple of registry keys. Now no more freezes or BSOD.

Not the problem. I always keep those updated.

I picked this up yesterday on my way home from work. Got it installed, watched the intro, then while talking to the old guy the game freezes. Can't alt-tab, alt-ctrl-del, nothing....had to reset. After reboot, loaded the game up again, watched intro and again the game freezes. This time it was after I got my first mission and stepped outside, again I can't do anything except reset. Load up the game a third time and this time I get a little further and while talking to an NPC I get a BSOD. Unbelievable. I don't have this problem with any other games I have on my HD and that includes Oblivion, Jade Empire, NWN2, HoMM5 and Titan Quest. Anyone else having this problem?

So, I'm really happy with my purchase so far. The game feels like classic C&C but with updated visuals. Part of me, though, feels like I've sinned for purchasing something with "EA" on it.

I'm 34, going to be 35 this year, and I played WoW for 2 years and I would say most of it was spent doing my own thing. I did have real life friends I grouped with but my play time usually conflicted with theirs, so when I was logging on they were getting ready to log off and go to bed. I was pretty much limited to playing a couple hours a night after the family went to bed except on the weekends when I could stay up a little longer. I enjoyed my time in WoW and will probably play it again at some point. The game didn't require you to have a group in order to reach 60 but if you wanted to complete some quests to get really cool drops then you did need to group up. When I first started playing I was on a PvE server and while it was the safest route to 60 it could also get boring. It does have the advantages of being left alone and not having to worry about someone who is twice your level coming around and one shotting you just for kicks. I ended up moving to a PvP RP server last year and it's been really fun so far. Thing is, I don't role play but the community on the server is alot better than some of the other non-RP servers I've been on. Once you reach around level 20 things will get a little interesting because you have to be aware of your surroundings, otherwise you'll be free points to some level 70. I found the challenge of playing on a PvP server to be little more exciting and rewarding...it's not a cake walk. For someone like you, who is new to the game, I would definitely start out on a PvE server and once you get the hang of the game you can try PvP later on. You can still do PvP on the PvE servers but it's by your choice, whether it be in the world of Azeroth or in Battlegrounds. Is it worth $15 p/month? For the 2 years I played it, I thought so. You could also just stick with single player games which I plan on doing for a while. WoW is a different game experience, though, because you're playing a game with other gamers all over the world and then there's PvP which always gives me an adrenaline rush, something I never got from any of the single player games I've ever played.

I picked up the Kane edition tonight from my local BB. Now it's going to sit on the shelf for a while because I got too much on my plate right now.

Good choice, really fun game! It's just sad that a majority of the people picked this up just for the Halo 3 beta.

Thank God for OOO. It's too bad the idiots at Bethesda still haven't realized their leveling system sucks.

Yeah, I used assisted fielding in MVP as well. Haven't seen an option for it in 2K7 and it would have been nice if they had included it. Still trying to get used to fielding...outfield I think I pretty much got nailed down but infield has been another story. I'm still unsure about baserunning in the game, I mean I know how to advance and retreat a baserunner but as far as the whole switching over to the baserunner view to steal/lead-off a base I don't know if I like it or not. I preferred how MVP had it set up. I was getting frustrated with hitting until I figured out you could zoom in and now I'm getting hits all over the place but the homers are way too frequent. I always play as the Angels and the only real power threat they have is Vlad and I was hitting homers with consistency with guys like Chone Figgins, Orlando Cabrera, Gary Matthews Jr., and Howie Kendrick -- all guys who aren't considered home run threats. Aside from the fielding, baserunning, and lack of camera angles, it's a solid baseball game. Graphically it's awesome and the presentation is top notch.

Final Fantasy XII(PS2) - At my current rate I won't have this one done until XIII comes out. World of Warcraft(PC) - I think I've just about had enough of this game..... MLB2K7(360) - After playing a few games and getting the hang pitching and hitting, I'm really starting to like this game. Like Volorun said, too many homers and still not as good as MVP '05. Oblivion(360) - Just picked this up over the weekend. Figured I'd give this another shot and see how it played using a controller and on a bigger screen. Jade Empire(PC) - Like Oblivion, grabbed this over the weekend. While I like the higher resolution graphics, I don't like the controls at all. Preferred using a controller. Going to have to get one of those 360 adapters so I can use my wireless 360 controller on my PC. Final Fantasy VI(GBA) - Play this at work to pass time when there's nothing to do. Looking forward to playing..... God of War 1&2(PS2) - I need to get my hands on a copy of this game after playing the demo!! After watching the badass movie that is 300, it has got me in the mood for playing a game set in Greek mythology!

Gotta catch 'em all!

CoD3 sucks. Mass Effect looks awesome though.
