    Commoners are level 0. Level 1 isn't an average person. Level 1 in D&D is still an exceptional individual. Look at the stat scores. 10 is your average person. Or is it 8? Sure, they can still be easy to kill at level 1, but a level 1 is still exceptional.

Ranger may mean a keeper, guardian, or soldier who ranges over a region to protect the area or enforce the law. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_(disambiguation) Entries at dictionary.com are similar. Why would you mention Legolas but completely skip over Aragorn?

    Actually, there's two groups on the site for my area. I think they're both in the same city. But only one of the two is trying 4e. Of course, last update in the thread was 9 days ago, so it may already be written off as a bust.

    I am going to try for a 4e game through the official forums. Apparently someone is trying to get a game going half an hour from my house.

    I enjoyed flying my destroyer and cruisers around just being a pimp. Because if I tried engaging anything of equivalent power, my system would not be happy with me. Luckily I had enough trade ships out and stations of my own that I had plenty of pirate chasing to do.
