What I'm hoping the story is is that it'll be a lead-in to the spellplague. You get to run around as a group of average joe adventurers, doing average joe adventures, but then suddenly you're still average joe adventurer but you're watching the world go to hell in a handbasket. Basically, something incredibly awesome, but instead of the typical have it all happen through you, it'll happen simply around you. But I'm kind of fantasizing here.

Apparently Succubi are devils now. I wonder if that means Erinyes have been switched to demons or if they're gone altogether. I also wonder if there's any accounting for this change. Something like the Succubi got tired of the Glabrezu and Balors biting off their heads on a whim and decided to defect.

It sounds to me more that it'll be like Baldur's Gate II. You can create your own party or choose to get an NPC party. Not forced to do one, the other, or both.

Me too, on both counts. Only thing that comes to mind are Ghostfoot Halflings. I hate Halflings, so that might as well be nothing. I also only know of them from threads asking about what races they should include in XP1.

For the heck of it, I'm going to look up the time between XP1's announcement and release. Edit: 5 months. Which would put us the month before Christmas if they did the same thing. Which would be easy for them to hold a month to get into Christmas.

If they're rated by the ESRB already, I'd imagine it would be before christmas by a bit. All significant content should be implemented.

If not Richard and those like him, themselves. We know people have been on the island for ages. We know Dharma did nothing but put facilities ontop of anomalies. Is it so awkward that someone might have done the same before them? All the wheel does is confirm what we've known since season 1. People were on the island before Dharma.
