  1. I was under the impression they all did.
  2. Quick question. If setting and tone are the issue, why are you bringing up Neverwinter Nights?
  3. Usually when I do that I end up getting Baldur's Gate portraits for Neverwinter Nights. But maybe I should put it in quotes.
  4. Oh, I think whoever made that knows. They know too well.
  5. It certainly doesn't look very official.
  6. Don't have a link, though I might be able to scrounge one up if I take time. My "know" is actually "heard."
  7. I'd play Oblivion with guns. For a weekend.
  8. I agree. Good thing nobody did say that.
  9. I would think that such details might give away more of the mechanics than they are ready to divulge.
  10. You are aware that Neverwinter Nights 2 itself has Securom. Y/N?
  11. I know a candy shop in Denton that won't accept credit cards if the purchase is under a certain amount. I've seen some stores that charge extra fees for credit card processing. I know at least one of those two practices is forbidden by those agreements.
  12. Traitor I don't recall ever saying I was on your side. *backstab*
  13. It sounds like it'll be an Atari developed system. So definitely not Securom or Starforce.
  14. They got better as they released more. There's a particular sorcerer/wizard one I really liked, and their class portraits (the ones that were just a symbol associated with a class instead of a character) were particularly nice. The generic human thief was also well done.
  15. It's not only an MMO, but now there's no 360 version.
  16. I carry cash only because people give it to me for birthdays and holidays. The 5 sitting in my wallet has been there since the middle of March.
  17. I actually like NWN portraits. But I can't find them for use in BG2.
  18. Reading The Spine of the World most of the day after work. Doing that more than my DBZ marathoning. Been on a reading kick ever since I decided to finally finish The Dark Tower. Went through The Dark Elf Trilogy, which I found to be terribly exciting after The Dark Tower's plodding pace. And I've also purchased 5 books in the past month so I really need to kick myself to read more. I got The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Metal Gear Solid novel, and The Last Wish, the book introducing The Witcher. Not all of that is particularly relevant to today, but I know you care.
  19. Fudge yeah.
  20. Awesome. It seems there are workarounds for the problem. But that's not the awesome part. The awesome part is it seems limited to nvidia cards. Which I'm only using temporarily. For future reference: http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?showtopic=30840 That's probably the link with clearest information.
  21. Anyone else experience slight graphical oddities? See how the inventory items have a darker background and the inventory bag has that black box around it? Well, floating text also has that black backing to it, such as Irenicus' words in the beginning of BGII. It seems that some form of transparency is gone. I'd wager it's most likely simply a consequence of newer hardware (and drivers) than anything the game was intended for, but I figure I'll ask anyway.
  22. Charisma and Wisdom are the dump stats for my Wild Mage. He's a Wild Mage! If he was wise, he wouldn't have picked the class in the first place. And tossing about spells randomly is likely to make people not like him as much. I like to think of him as a cross between a mad wizard and the guy who juggles chainsaws.
  23. I believe in you, buddy! It's okay if I call you buddy, right?
