Best bit? Worst bit? I played around 25 hours and I got some really weird companion bugs(i think they were at least) so i put it down for a while. Started again got about 20 hours in. I have kind of lost all motivation now however with the expanions being released, think i'll wait for the full PACKAGE to be out. I'd like to know a summary of thoughts on peoiple's experience. There seems to be a lot of negative comments on here, which is fine I have done the same but I think the game is pretty good. I think it's probably better than the first game even though I've yet to complete it. TLDR: Blarghagrhagagha

Who are the people exactly and why aren't they worthy of our trust? Aside from that, if this was 2001 or 2002 and Bioware/MumboJumbo was developing it, you wouldn't be saying "It has no reason to exist" You'd pre-order it without any hesitation lol Don't deny it p.s I've missed you, fellow raggae/ska brother! Daven the dwarf hehee Hello! Yeah, ermm... I mean Beamdog. I don't think the decisions they have made with all the 'Enhanced Editions' are correct. In fact it's almost insulting to call them enhanced!

BG3 has no reason to exist and I don't trust any of these people to be able to make anything the calibre of BG2.

To be fair, I don't really think of the character model as how my character looks. But the portrait is how he looks, the character model is just a crude representation, i felt like that in the BG games and NWN. However yeah I think the option would be nice for people who want it. Options are always a good thing.

I actually prefer the game over PoE1, there are flaws yes but it had me hooked for a while. I am waiting a bit to go back to it when all the expansions are out however. The look of it is much better, i like the animations, I prefer the combat as it doesn't feel as hectic and fast as the first game, i like most of the music... (the only part I have a real problem with is the level up music!!!!) I don't play on POTD and don't learn the systems inside out, i like to sort of barge in and take it as it comes in these kinda games. So the whole difficulty issue is not a problem for me I struggle on some fights in veteran mode. It's on sale on GoG now right isn't it? I'd say go for it.

Well... thanks for sharing, I'll try not to be too upset about it! But more seriously, I wish I had just waited until everything had been released and got it for cheaper/in a better state. I have put the game on hold until everything is out for it as I probably won't be replaying anytime soon as this back log of games keeps building up...! Oh well!

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
daven replied to no1fanboy's topic in Computer and Console
Managed to play for a few hours yesterday. I really liked the intro where they decide to join you or not depending on how you've acted. I like some of the weather effects. I really like that my guy actually has a RUCK SACK on!!! This might be the first time I've ever seen that in an RPG. Well done. -

The Souls games are celebrated for the same reason this is apparently being criticized. HMMMMMMMM. Well I haven't played it for myself yet, maybe I'll start whinging later. -

I guess a lot of people want to just put in a game and breeze through it on hard even without putting effort in to learn the game systems or anything. God damn I can't wait to finish work to go play.......! Euuurggghhhh! 5 hours and 51 minutes. -

Yeah I like equipment weight and that in some games, makes you have to think what to actually carry. Instead of everything that isn't nailed down! Downloading the game... taking a thousand years. Oh well I'll check it out after work. -
So Pathfinder is out.
daven replied to daven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
That sounds pretty interesting actually. Although I like the Pillars games they really don't feel like the IE games at all, other than superficially. I'm not yet bored of generic fantasy settings, I would absolutely love another game set in the Forgotten Realms. EURGH, must hold on and not buy day 1 and be annoyed by bugs and stuff.
