  1. I took 50 hours in POE1 full. As in both WM expansions, most of the quests (I think I missed a few minor ones) and so on. WM2 took most of my time considering the difficulty and I had to force myself to do bounties to level so I could kill that bloody dragon. POE1's main story quest didn't take 50 hours. Let alone once you remove those atrociously long loading screens.
  2. I'm enjoying the game on vet though it does feel a bit too easy at times. (also trying to pick only upwards level scaling didn't work or broke something because while I could feel the enemies higher leveled than me the game didn't show any skulls. at all)
  3. Or you could kill the man yourself. That's always my PCs solution :D Don't even have to pay that way either.
  4. That's been done mate. She was called Jaheira. Nah granny doesn't thirst after you and get mad if she gets denied. Wynne's a better example
  5. Same. Eder's still a bro but Aloth seems to have lost all his sense of humor.
  6. While I'm perfectly fine withe the narrator her being toggable would be best.
  7. T1 has chill fog and Slicken. T2 is bleh and I barely use it. T3 has Fireball for easy AoE comp which is the most effective one atm. Later, use it for Del Alacrity because the +5 dex speed still speed up how fast you cast/recover and it doesn't take long. ==== T4 has frozen fireball from a certain grimoire you can acquire really early. Sure the cast time is long but you can retarget and it has almost twice the range of normal fireball. Paralysis on hit. The moment I got this, the game lost all possible mid-game challenge even if you are undergear. T5 is mediocre. Only really use it for Blast of Frost for quick AoE finisher if they somehow survive the fireball. T6 has Gaze and Deathring. Death ring is insane in this one because it's a giant Foe AoE that can also finish off high DR but low health target with no effort. T7 has Tayn Chaotic orb and with enemies using Unbending, Wall of Draining T8 has Wilting Wind. It's a raw damage version of hailstorm which is also busted. T9 has Missile Salvo and Meteor. I don't see how they are weak. Only T2 is really bad but you get through that really fast since the game quickly boost you to like level 7 in only a few hour. Salvo has the highest DPS potential in the game that it took 70% of the tankiest boss fight health in one spell on Aloth who has pisspoor might. And if you don't have enough cast, then empower yourself for +1 to all tier casting resource. Nothing should survive you throwing 1 or 2 fireball in the early game so wizard early is nowhere near that bad. Edit: Also, if you really want to break the game, just give the Wizard some kind of legendary gear early (you cna easily grab a legendary weapon from Crookspur stealing). This gives them a major accuracy boost to their spells. You can be throwing empowered crit fireball 2-3 hours into the game. WW should be tier 8. That should only be for pure wizards.
  8. Those are cute! Where can I find D: (well the two on the sides. The middle one is a bit of a mess honestly)
  9. Maia brought it up in the very first automatic dialogue with me which happened within an hour since I recruited her. So yea, Xoti, Tekehu, Maia - that's most of the romanceable companions that try to get in our pants right off the bat. Half the roman-cables =/= half the companions. That said I'll give you most of the romances. Thankfully Maia's probably a bug and will get fixed. Edit: And once again these companions aren't playersexual. People need to stop clinging to their buzzwords that they clearly don't understand. This is in general mind. Playersexual, pandering, personality-less, so forth if you don't know what a word actually means stop using it. You make yourself look like an idiot.
  10. It's not really kind of crappy. Wizard subclasses are garbage. Not sure what the devs were thinking there. A few levels is an understatement. They start becoming more than one of the least useful classes at level 7. The main issue is that the majority of the spell rank 1-2 spells are complete garbage. Even once you have access to the third tier, you still don't have enough casts to make any real difference unless you cheese your way through the game by using empower to return points and then rest after every fight... It takes a whole lot of levels before they have enough casts to do anything other than Chill Fog (which is actually ridiculously good, but at the same time not something that can be cast every fight). The slicken nerf hurt my soul.
  11. There are +1 spell cast bonuses in the game. I remember seeing one attached to renting a room. I think it was a room. The Chanter also has a level 9 invocation that replenish 1 class resources on a AOE cone (+ themselves). Spell cast are priest, wizard and druid class resources. Oh yeah. Oooh now I have a reason to bring along a chanter.
  12. Well, this in itself looks like a bug - shouldn't he have different dispositions for pro- and anti- Leaden key? Yeah it doesn't make much sense. Another bug to the list I suppose.
  13. Prefer Berath anyway. Plus she still gives you her boon even if you didn't promise her the souls as long as you do it.
  14. Yeah the only adjustment I'd want for wizards is maybe one more spell for low level spells. A basic form of spell mastery pretty much.
  15. Xoti showed zero interest in my character in 15 hours so far and I'm not romancing anyone. How did you manage that? She was thirsting over my character the moment they met. As for the OP half the companions? Tek and Xoti aren't half the companions so Yes they both hit on the PC pretty aggressively. You can also turn them down immediately and keep it moving. I'm not sure about Maia but Aloth doesn't bring up romance unless you bring it up first in my experience.
  16. It looks like it depends on POE1 endgame. If he becomes the leader of Leaden key he sticks to his old beliefe and stays pro-tradition, if he sets out to dismantle them he changes and becomes anti-tradition. Its kinda nice. His "going back to Aedyr" dialogue also changes accordingly and wich of his parents he forgave and was happy to see. He keeps giving me crap for being traditional and he's Leaden Key in my game. I think whether he is traditionalist or not is depend on he accepted Iselmyr or not. If he accepted than he is anti-traditionalist Nope I never keep Iselmyr and he's still anti-traditional.
  17. That's just some minor fluff, but the main dish stays the same. I don't consider that minor. There's a reason you're leaving yet again to go back to Dyrwood
  18. Yea, whole main plot is disappointing because you can't do anything to change the outcome, you're just taken on the ride to watch it unfurl on the sidelines along with the other gods. I wouldn't mind it in other game genres, like action adventure, for example, but I strongly do mind of one half assed ending in an RPG. To be fair you can tweak the endings. (Asking Eothas to slightly modify his plan can result in the destruction of everything, Berath getting more power and because of that everything becomes more predictable, the souls actually having somewhere to stay while the Wheel's being remade, and a bit more.) It's mainly that Eothas will always break the wheel. You can change some details about it but that one thing is constant.

  20. If I'm nice I do the bringing them aboard and curing them because it gives sailor xp. If I'm evil I just loot. But how do you bring them aboard? I don't get the option, i can only tell them that i don't have the resources (no matter how many resources i actually have) That sounds like a bug. I usually get the benevolent/cruel options regardless.

  22. lol I've never gotten those crew events. I just get the gambling, fish and ondra events constantly. I guess it's because I keep my morale super high.
  23. Okay that disposition cheat *finally* allowed me to get Aloth above 0. THat's it. I'm using it until they patch it which is hopefully never.
