The only way to get an accurate sum/average is the spyware in the software. We really don't know if peopm e are even telling the truth. Why would they lie? Plenty of reasons. And the very small amount of people who actually vote don't soeak for the majority so there's that. The only answer I can give you that this is just for fun, maybe I wanted to see if I was normal and if someone else took ad much time to complete the game as I did.

It makes sense... Steam is a great sales platform for anything digital. Many people here on this forum don't yet realize that Steam sells all kinds of digital product and not just games. Soundtracks, sound editing apps, audio books, Steam has done very well with all these and more. Wouldn't make much sense to release such a thing on GoG or Wal-Mart. Maybe someone who doesn't know much about these things will disagree with me by some crazy excuse, who knows.

Being the help of the help is never really helpful. -
I said it before and I'll say it again, being in the top-sellers means nothing when no other big name games came out during the window that was even in the top sellers. One could argue that since it was on sale during the Summer Sale (not too long after release) that sales were poor. You're literally better off gauging Steam sales by looking at the most common achievements.

We are getting a live action Gundam movie... I know what you guys are thinking (yes, I do know)... You're thinking, why Gundam when Gundam is terrible compared to Macross X? Why, indeed? Well my good friends, there's no reason to whine just yet. This franchise has more hope than Michael Bay's Transformer trilogy, thatsfor darn sure and since it's low budget that likely means more relatable story, better actors, better props and effects due to passion as we all know. Roll that beautiful bean footage! -

A few of my friends picked it up due to my review on Steam, they are enjoying this little gem now. My hope is more people will be aware of it

But with the talents tree permitting the gift of your character's powers, wouldn't it indicate that ranged weaponry is irrelevant anyway? At least that's how I dispatch enemies, combining powers with melee as my build was made for silence and strategy but as far people who play this game as a casual fps (which is what the game was desinged to be in the first place), ammo should never be a problem whther you aren't necessarily good at aiming or you want to go more direct and guns blazinf than stealth. I mean, it's not like it's a survival game where there's a purpose in every bullet so the "git gud" excuse doesn't particularly excuse some of the poorer design choices the game possesses.

I like Prey's atmosphere, the story was predictable but I enjoy that, personally. I didn't like some of the mechanics, I agree with everyone here who says the crafting is uneeded and the low ammo is a problem. My complaint is warranted because of the vast number of spawning enemies especially in the latter parts of the game. Turning into some objects was also unnecessary, comical but I felt the developers could had been more creative or put their efforts elsewhere. I like the enemy designs, basic but remind me of symbiotic creatures from Spider-Man. All in all, it wasn't as "cool" as the original Prey but I played this one after seeing Life and it hit the spot and achieved what it intended (I think). In the end, my review was mixed, I think I had a better time with Alien Isolation, totally different game but ALOT in common no less. I can see why some people would really like it, it's not typical by any means.

Ahhhhh I'm not sure then. Sorry -
ZeniMax would rather create their own platform instead of offering their games DRM free...It"s only a matter of time till they bring back the "paid" mods for their franchises, I dont think GOG could accommodate that. -- I have Steam, Origin, GOG Galaxy, and Uplay. And I hate them all. I'd rather have everything with Steam (easily because its the first service and the biggest by market share), its so cumbersome to have 4 clients running and updating all the time. Idk, GoG could finally give into DRM one day. Never say never. All it takes is one slip and they'd never go back to being "DRM free".

Those comments were made before the film was further from release - when the teaser was released. I believe the thread in which I predicted that Solo would fail (was after I made that comment )was deleted and that was when trailer 2 was released so I had a much better idea... that's why I'm not in favor of threads being deleted just to keep the forums "clean looking" Where I said I was worried about it not bringing enough money in and I specifically stated people are getting tired of Star Wars - not because it's getting worse (it has always been the same quality) but because there are just better things. The original reply to my original comment was, and I remember it quite clearly: "People will always want to see Star Wars, Star Wars will never lose money" As said before, when the original trilogy gets back to theater during the next anniversary, it's not going to make anything. So we know that it has nothing to do with new vs old movies, it has to do with people just not caring about Star Wars anymore. I don't disagree with my initial comments that were quoted, I love that Disney is in charge, Disney is great, much better than Lucas Arts slaughtering the franchise slowly. As for why and how Jar Jar is a better character than Solo, let's discuss. Jar Jar was the character that got Lucas accused of stereotypes, racism and other controversial topics. While none of this was true of course. Relatively on the issue, we didn't get that tropical feel from the character, it's just that when people don't like something or someone, they'll try to find anything they can to burn it. Jar Jar is now more iconic than Yoda. Presumably because all the hate worked in his favor in the end so maybe we can thank the haters for that. Either way, it would have been thought unbelievable that Jar Jar could become more iconic ovee the years due to the backlash they faced. JarJar Binks the hero. Most people here probably don't realize that Jar Jar Binks is a hero and a warrior, a strategist in command forces for the resistance. When did this come to being? Well, in The Clone Wars' secret battles. Jar Jar's character development through canon material is far more both direct and indirect. There's alot of crossing and contradiction there which makes his character far more interesting than say the "I was put together by Anakin and I'm still the same bot 60 years from now" or "I was a scoundrel who became irrelevant though I owned the greatest ship in the galaxy" There aren't really any layers to the famed front-runners of Star Wars which I mentioned in my prior comments. On origins, we also learn more about Jar Jar's past in The Clone Wars tv shows (in case you're wondering, the answer is yes, the shows are much more indepth and better written that the movies). The ability to go more into a character's origins without deflection can only really be done in a tv show - prove me wrong! Thus, I can say that Yoda, Jabba, 3CPO and Han Solo are in comparison shallow compared to Jar Jar and I haven't gotten into the Lego side stories which are actually canon as well. However if members don't want to accept that the Clone Wars tv show and Lego side stories are canon to Star Wars franchise, that's another issue altogether. It would be strange but I could see it happening lol -

#JustSonicThings Sure, just like I said Solo would flop and people here thought I was crazy lol -
It's an underrated gem. My only issue, and it's more a preference than anything wrong with the game, is I always seemed to have too few ammo. Craft you old booger, craft!!!

Thing is 3CPO, Yoda, Jabba and Han Solo are pretty bland characters, I mean, removing my opinion and the "old people's" trilogy bias and putting all Star Wars on the same plate - as no trilogy is really better than the other anyways (just different). Jar Jar was at least interesting enough to stir and divide the fans, as fas as the eye can see, he's one of the best things to happen in Star Wars history - besides Disney and Lego Btw, I do not remember who Wickett is, yet I call myself a SW fan lol Edit: On the subject of Star Wars, the Solo flopping made Disney cancel the next two spin-offs. The massive loss is enough to make Disney worry? I remember when people said "Star Wars will never flop" well..it did and don't be surprised next time when the classic trilogy comes to theater on the big anniversary, that will definitely flop as well. -

If we're being honest... Jar Jar is a much better character than 3CPO, Jabba, Yoda or Han Solo but... since it's not a classic character, I can see how people discredit him. Had Jar Jar been introduced in the classic trilogy, he wouldn't have been hated but embraced by all at any level. It's just how it works... -

I would be happy with a Jar Jar film... I mean, it would do a hell of alot better in sales and quality in sales and quality of any Star Wars film. StarJarWars (SJW)... That would be the name of it and I'd happily support Disney if they'd do this, it would be a comic relief as well as finally something original within the Star Wars franchise. Yes, we NEED a Jar Jar film. It would dump stereotypes on their heads or rather exalt them lmao Can you imagine the chaos that would erupt among the already divided fanbase, it's both the Star Wars film that we need and what we deserve. https://youtu.be/8yy3q9f84EA It wouldn't be any more out of place that Yoda getting his own film if we're being honest. Jar Jar is more iconic now after all. -

Got Mortal Kombat XL and Killer Instinct on the Steam sale. So worth it! Killer Instinct used to be free-2-play but now it charges for everything and it's beautiful because it made everything so much better. Also someone randomly added me and gifted me a copy of Injustice 2 (which was on sale for $30) so that made me pretty happy. Yep, I love making friends on Steam lol

I don't know, perhaps it's just me, I don't see anything wrong with her stance or even bragging about working with CDPR (anyone would). I mean, I never got the impression that she's saying she's "too good" for CD Project Red - maybe I'm missing some sort of secret lingo or something. To be honest, sounds like she's pretty genuine in saying that age never really intended to be there permanently but I know there will always be people who, for whatever reason, take her words for being a slap in the face to CDPR. If CD Project Red had any issue, the current staff wouldn't be in communication with her (they still are) and I think it's obvious that she could go back anytime she wanted so there's that. I can see forums going crazy though with "You obsolete *****, keep your mouth shut" or "Nobody cares, you're no longer there so, why are you even talking?" how easy is is to discard her credit to working on ine of the higher rated rpg's in many years but... If it sounds like she's defending herself in the video, I could understand why - there's probably good reason for it even though she doesn't owe anyone an explanation. It's possible she has stalkers on social media just because she's a woman, a game developer who worked on The Witcher 3 and also follwed religiously by CDPR's hardcore fanbase who watch every little word she'll type/say. There are, whether we believe it or not, fans will shun anything neutral or negative if it's not praising CDPR. I couldn't imagine how much hate mail she's getting for a video like this "Clickbait video *****, stop posting bs you don't even have t**s." To me, it's not any different really than an ex-Gamestop employee who talks about the pros and cons of management, pr and other things that happen behind closed doors. I look at Allanah Pierce (IGN) and see just how bad a fanbase and/or stalkers can get. It was pretty scary and wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. And sure anyone could say "She was probably over-exaggerating and most of that probably never happened" except it did as police records and web interactions proved. Crazy but real. I want to follow this ex-CDRP employee because I can just see something happening to that degree in the future lol It's gonna be interesting nonetheless. -
