I think Obsidian should shift their ficus elsewhere. Personal a new IP (once done with Deadfire and it's shenanigans).

Nightfury is the best dragon character in existence. Even Smaug dwindles in comparison. -

The problem is that if I only posted 2, people here probably wouldn't believe me. They asked so I gave them, actually what posted wasn't even much. There was something almost 30 big budget Cyberpunk movies released and yet to release this year alone. Problem is, like I said, they aren't very good abd that's probably why avid Sci-Fi fans like myself are hard to come by then if not accidental. On the other hand, I got a chance to see TAU last night and it seemed like a copy of an indie film that came out last year called Infinity Chamber: https://youtu.be/31e7WWWiODQ -

^This is the most cyberpunk out of all of them Otherlife was great. May not really be Cyberpunk looking but still cyberpunk none the less. It's about hacking your brain through a drug that's made in the future by a female hacker. You'd literally have to watch it to know because the trailer doesn't explain or show too much. Yes, I did see Ready: Player One. I thought it sucked quite frankly. It was a blast of modern logistics buried by nostalgia. It really didn't have a point and I found the acting and writing to be poor - However, what I loved is seeing iconic characters from past movies and video games... and that's about it. Edit: Devs and mods plz excuse my number of postings, it seems the forum limits me to 2 preview boxes per comment -

Fututeworld was good and this looks like it will be GREAT. Keep making up for Fury Road! This year just keeps getting better -
I'm guessing this is not a TV version of the Nic Cage/John Travolta flick, then?Nah, it's about makeup artists who make sci-fi/horror masks, reality competition type show lol It's been canceled, just so you know.I'm not surprised lol Everything I like is basically cancelled. Revolution, Inhumans, The Quest... I know how to pick them It's sad when good shows get canceled due to being unable to pull an audience. The Quest being based on old school D&D was an amazing fantasy/reality hybrid tv show where people compete to he the true hero of EveRealm. https://youtu.be/RIFHo28M6a8 EDIT: So while everyone is sleeping I started Breakout Kings, only because of Serinda Swan being in it really and she's become my fav actress. It's axtually really good, had no idea that it is in the same universe as PrisonBreak, another show I enjoyed. I was like... T-Bag???? Link????? WHAT lol I shoulda known since the title but whatever.

Too many to count, there's so many on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Showbox and that have been in theater. I brought it up because I was watchimg youtube trailers and one of the most anticipated movies for 2019 is a cyberpunk movie, I wasn't really paying attention because it looked boring. I'd rather see The House With A Clock In The Walls which looks horrible but at least it's unique. -
Most anticipated games .... your wishlist of games to come

Both. I mean, it's not going to change anything in the slightest, it's like saying DRM decreases Steam's sales if at all, so I agree with them (the reporters). -

The problem with all these new Cyberpunk movies is that they all feel the same... No real point of the story, no real feeling. It's as if they said "We know that the Cyberpunk theme is getting more popular right now, especially with the sex robots surfacing so let's just push out movies because we know kids will get excited about them". There are so many and they're either similar rehash or different but boring. -
My wife and I watch FaceOff, to me it seems geared towards women more. I don't know why, just the vibe I guess but it's interesting and not boring at all. I really want to start The Crossing which looks pretty good. I don't knw how the ratings have been, probably low but who really cares about ratings/reviews anyway.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - BATTLE ROYALE

It's not like this is going to decrease sales in even the slightest. -
Mafia III (courtesy of ShadySands) All I can say for now is that the game opens up with Jimmy Hendrix - All Along The Watch Tower mastered for surround sound. With added reverbs lightly thrown in the background and some frequency cuts, it sounds just like it would on Vynal in a porch room. Very New Orleans indeed!

Disgaea 1 and 2 are super cheap and tempting me...

I'm working on my Steam review for Dead Rising 4 which was given to me by ShadySands. So far, I like it more than the others. The map is more open and they removed the stupid time limits to finish each case which means that you can explore on your own time as much as you'd like. Optimization wise, it runs fine except that it get stucks on the loading screen once in a while so I had to control+alt+delte and restart the game. After that, no issues, no frame drops either which is surprising comsidering that the zombies come by the hundreds. I play with a 360 controller so I'm not sure how the game does with a mouse and keyboard. Graphics it looks pretty good, it's probably my hdd in my Alpha chasis that causes some lod slowdown to a minimal output causing buffering to happen BUT that's only on things like posters and decales on the walls in the game. Or maybe it's just the game/engine that's causing it? Soundwise it's great. Another gameplay change I like is that the annoying "escort a survivor" missions are gone. They annoyed me, especially in the second game. Crafting seems to have take a notch up as well. Locations actually vary. It takes place in winter but you get a pretty broad sense of locale, kinda like the variances of The Witcher 3 or GTA5, even though the map isn't as big of course. Story wise, the story is my favorite thing. It's silly enough but less silly than the other Dead Rising games. At least so far. The start of the game is very close (but not identical) to Return Of The Living Dead 3's beginning. That was a zombie movie from the late 80's if I remember correctly. It then progresses to a Prototype 2 type feel minus the superpowers and add crazy weapons. Both have the sci-fi definitive story in common throughout. That's about all I got. I enjoyed this Dead Rising the most. Poorest rating on Steam out of all of them, not because the game itself but because people had issues running it, cpu is taxed by all them zombies so best be prepared. Thank you all. Goodnight.

Steam summer sale deals and recommendations
SonicMage117 replied to Melusina's topic in Computer and Console
Sounds good :D -
The graphics are definitely the best thing about it. This the one that starts off with the giant octopus right? The shooting feels like she's holding toy guns, at least the reboot, the bow actually makes you feel powerful and when you can kill an enemy with one shot, it adds some depth and realism to the combat.

Oh.. I see that's kinda like how Kotor 2 and Silver come pre-fixed on Steam and not on GoG. Though, to that angle, that's probably when some peeps will only complain about the game being different from the original hehe

Hmmmm... -
Or just get it from GoG. But the GoG version is missing all the cut content :/
-
GoG is good because no drm but that's literally the only real thing it has on Steam. If I named all the features that Steam offers that GoG doesn't, it would be a wall of text that would be complained about. I do agree with the many here who have pointed out the catalog on GoG is horrible compared to Steam's. For the record... Steam's Big Pick is far superior than GoG's Galaxy.

I was just gonna say lol
