  1. I would love that. We all would! I can't imagine how good a Pillars game would look with some actual graphics (not that games are all about graphics, just that graphics are missing from Crpg's such as Pillars).
  2. I'm very flattered that my return could outweigh the death of a family member.....
  3. Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but good point here nonetheless: Tyranny was really good but I'm not sure it deserved a sequel. And Deadfire was so experimental and different from PoE1 that it (in many ways) felt disjointed from the first. So I think it's best for them to end support for the series. Some things are better off dead and remembered for what was, as any thing more will just ruin things further.
  4. I have to disagree, I love customizing my profile and ahowing off badges and achievements. It really is better than Xbox achievements and PS Trophies. Thing is, Steam's social aspect is so strong that GoG, Origin and console gamers (non-Steam users) will create an account just to express on the Steam forums how much they hate Steam or just to talk to devs who have games on GoG but hate GoG's forums due to nobody really being there. For me, the best thing about achievements is having a bookmark for a game that I've played. I have a backlog and from time to time I travel so having markers to indicate or remind is neber a bad thing. They have always been super helpful, to me, anyway. I learned to love them in time because of it.
  5. The most important sale of the year (2018) ended today (in 2019 lol). The Steam Winter Sale is gone. Long live Steam!
  6. That's rather rude.
  7. So the forums are staying up later or are they shutting down sometime in 2019/2020? That's what we really wanna know!
  8. Our boy Starlord is getting some more hate these days, must be doing something right! Now now, I know that being vegan is a pretty popular movement aming the sjw and liberal ambassadors but I agree with the leftists and rightist at CNN and Fox that this goes beyond Cris saying "I raise my own cattle just to eat them and don't give af"... No, they're right, ya know, it goes back to Starlord appearing at Disneyworld with the gaurdians to read out the Bible and mention God. Luckily, there will always be people in the world who stand up for what they believe in instead of going with the flow and compromising their values/conscience. Kudos to him for doing what he wanted and tuning out the legal warnings in the earpiece lol
  9. The Executioner Wasp official surpasses the Bullet Ant in pain index and most dangerous insect sting recorded in human history!
  10. I know that most members here are atheists and shudder at the very mention of God but I wish for all of you to join me in a special prayer for Hurlshot and his/her family. The death of a loved one is no joke and always has the potential to cause bitterness or depression. So I pray that God send his angels to comfort our dear Hurlshot and his family, blessings upon their life and the stregnth to move forward. May your memories give you hope of what is to come in the afterlife my dear friend. Death is only the beginning and so, as the body returns to dust, it is a mere casing but the soul... The soul is beyond our understanding, I believe that it does not "end" here but there is something more. Thank you, who have cared enough for Hurlshot to say a prayer or join me in my online one. With that, I bid you all a very fond goodnight.
  11. The game is very console focused so I believe it's a possibility. We'll definitely see wallpapers, badges and trading cards on Steam so a dynamic theme on PS4/XB1 would make sense. Plus, members such as myself love pee-odor incentives which is always a plus!
  12. Welp, it's a forum. The members here live to hate everything. It's their "right" to do so
  13. I want to play AC Origins and Odyseey but I'm waiting for the price to drop further, and also waiting til I clear some games off my backlog. I almost bought Origins today but decided to pass. They do look great. Though, I still even haven't played Black Flag (last AC game I bought/played was the original on PS3). Has it changes much?
  14. My 1080ti is still doing rather well, I've been able to run games fluidly at 4k - people told me it wouldn't be possible and yet I've uploaded a few videos to showcase how smoothly it performs on both my 4k television and 4k monitor. Seems like it will last me a long time but I think it more or less depends on where devs want gaming development to go. What new engines will arrive and will they focus on utitlizing different software and hardware features? Only time will tell.
  15. Agony sequel announced... You play a nude female demon, not sure if anyone here would be interested since shrinkung horse testicles is preferred by members (according to the Red Dead Redemption 2 discussion months ago) but I thought I'd leave it anyway.
  16. Although I hated the Minecraft base-building bs, Fallout 4 is better than what people on this forum give it credit for... Well the writing and story are certainly better than what Fallout 3 and New Vegas had to offer but the lack of more modern tpg features is what people hated. As a game, as a whole Fallout 4 was pretty well balanced. I like that it's getting more positive attention now. As far as if Starfiled will deliver, I think it has potential, as Anthem has the possibility to better than Mass Effect, Starfield has the potential to be better than - what other space rpg is out there? Is there even a good one? Lol Ny favorite Star Wars games by now, everyone should know, are Kotor 1&2 which are great Star Wars games but merely average rpg's. So I'm not hyped for Starfield but since it doesn't have any competiton in terms of a sci-fi/space rpg, it definitely has the potential to become something special. Who knows? I don't see a problem with being optimistic though.
  17. We escaped from the blue... From the blue... PLANET!!! We escaped.... From de blue... Huehuehue XD https://youtu.be/ZHEb7Mz2oMU I'm showing my age here lmao And what may be the worst game trailer of all time but I somehow love it, probably the nostalgia in my soul. https://youtu.be/oCBTRIsAhGE Again, I'm such an old fart.
  18. Don't be fooled.... nothing will ever surpass Red Faction Guerilla in this respect.
  19. Not playing anything at the moment for a couple days until I get home but I can tell you what I was playing before I left on vakay with the familay. Shenmue Remastered - A game that relies on nostalgia factor and demands it to remotely enjoy. I played Shenmue number 1 when it released originally un the Americas for the Sega Dreamcast, back then it was such a great game. Everything about it from graphics to the world layout, the voices... Now, fast forward to 2018 or 2019 as I'm writing this and Shenmue is a complete nightmare of a game - except the music. The OST has just aged beautifully while the rest of the game itself has aged horribly. Hard to enjoy... And Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z -Just as the cel-shaded Prince Of Persia was the underdog and vastly underrated game of its series, the same is true for this one. It's a great game and has aged gracefully. I dare even say that like the cel-shaded PoP, this is the best game of the series but hated for being different (I can relate hehe). My favorite thing about the game is how it forces players to do things they don't want to, making for some grueling situatations. Devs seem to shy away from this method in order to casualize games for a broader audience but not Yaiba, no sir. This is a "Put up or shut up, be a man" type of game. Also, due to animations per set moves getting locked in, led to some pretty frustrating deaths and I loved that as well. This means that the player must think ahead of time and memorize the timing of the main character's moveset. I'm sure I'll probably start Destiny 2 when I get back. I know I've been saying that before.
  20. Cam. (Netflix) My wife and I saw this and it made us feel pretty bad for the girl. She's a young camgirl, not that pretty so needs to resort to doing anything crazy to climb charts. Someone basically hacks her account and makes a digital double to get revenge on her taking their place in the ranks! As a guy, I found it to be pretty intense and realistic - as in something that can really happen in the real world. Worth checking out at least. My Teacher, My Obsession. I was forced to at watch with the wife, good acting but pretty stereotypical lifetime type movie. Crazy student falls in love with teacher, seduces him and kills people after being rejected. There isn't a rape card being played simce the girl is of legal age in the story - which is refreshing for thos type of movie. Replicas. I really enjoyed it for some reason. Was kinda a mixture of iRobot, Flatliners and Stepford Wives. All which I enjoyed so it makes sense that I would enjoy this one as well. Sci-Fi and Horror have always been my favorites and it's even better when those two genres are melded together to create something unique. Also, because I have a family, I admit I had a weak moment when he lost his in the wreck.
  21. Has anyone seen a show called "YOU"? I think it may be on Netflix. It's reportedly about a guy who becomes obsessed with a girl and stalks her online to know every detail of her life. To give him the advantage to win her over, perhaps? The premise kinda reminds me of Eye Candy with Victoria Justice who was a Watch Dogs hacker in the dating world of serial killers - a show I miss dearly! What have I been checkin out? Daredevil and Iron Fist. I like it BUT it's easy to see why Titans topped them. Still though, really good. Especially Daredevil. The best version of Iron Fist will always be the chill Cali surfer from Ultimate Spider-Man so... The Masked Singer. I'm pretty sure someone here said shows like American Idol and The Viuce are trash but aside whatever bitterness may have caused such blasphemy, I will just say that the musician in me loves shows like this. It's like trivia but with something actually useful (since you are not only testing your memory but your hearing, sight and cultural examinations. So an actual articulated intelligence test.
