  1. Anno 1800, the base edition - the deluxe edition doesn't seem to offer anything of real value and little is known about the dlc character that is included. Admittedly, ths will be my first Anno game, everything about it seems to tug at my heart strings - the industrial age, the srt style and it's got that semi-rpg laden track that reminds me of one of my favorite games (Sunless Seas). I have watched some friends play Anno games in the past but by the looks of it, this one seems to have something the others lacked - a meaningful time period perhaps? I don't know. All I know is that I couldn't help but hit the pee-odor button.
  2. Yes, she actually said that but in her case what she views as "morally correct" is still considered to be morally incorrect by mass society (at least right now) so that's the irony of politics. Factually incorrect and morally incorrect, since moralism seems to be a subjective concept in the world anyway. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways, a double-minded woman helps ease the pain of Mista J If she wasn't such a treat to feast our eyes upon, I imagine she'd be in the same ring as our President, Pelosi and Bernie in unlikabiloty but she's young so youth "trumps" all in politics arena - even Palin's looks proved this to be true. Looks simply go a long way, politics are just a secondary yay. The future of politic campaigning will not rely on political education and preservation but rather great looks and presentation. We will see robots in the future who will be made to manipulate and brainwashing us into who we want to vote for or what side we want to take - then we will discuss our views on the forums - OH WAIT!
  3. Exactly. People are a bit overdramatic but perhaps that is why I'm always on the defensive (with good reason). So many people get offended easily on the internet, time for people to change their diapers and leave the real fight to the non-wide eyes. Look at me, ma! I have 8 arms hehe
  4. Uggghhh... I'll just leave it the way it is. Oh well lol
  5. What would you call it then? An opinion different than yours?
  6. I love Cortez, that is from the video she deleted. How did you get it? I think people tend to forget that urban dictionary is different from literal/webster dictionary. It's not that the meanings are list, it's that well, I'll copy and paste so you don't have to take MY word for anything. From: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nazi ^That's definitely Cortez but we love her anyway She's a young democratic queen, wouldn't expect any different, also in turn she gets corrected constantly by fellow lefty nazis. I rarely call people nazis but the Democratic radicals who hardcore twitter definitely fit the bill.
  7. Nevermind.
  8. Well if being "Radical" isn't nazi, I'm not sure what is. Also....
  9. Same. Wii and WiiU were pretty bad for the industry at any rate and just when I thought Nintendo couldn't get any worse, they TOTALLY redeemed themselves! Switch is impressive all the way around, whether hardware or games selection.
  10. My bad lol Fixed that!
  11. Bumble Bee is a great movie, that much I agree and everyone I've talked to who's actually seen it loves it because it harkens to the 80's G1 roles but even surpasses that. Hailee has been so undereated in music and movies but seems like she's finally getting some recognition. And yeah, Brei's role in Captain Marvel does definitely feel forced. I found it similar to John Krasinski's forced role in Jack Ryan but that said, I will still watch both because I'm a fan of the franchises. Johnny Depp as Grindlewald was one of the least natural pairings in years. BUT those things aside and being a fan of the MCU movies, if I don't see it and the post ending, I'm likely to have some plot holes for other future movies (as DC and Marvel movies tend to do). That's where they get ya Maybe that's why Brei seems like she is such a bad actress to me, maybe she just hasn't found that role that fits her just right - but I already know that role won't be Captain Marvel. DC just seems to have that edge over Marvel, which makes the acting in shows and movies superior in every every respect. Most recently, Jason Momoa being in Stargate Atlantis years ago helps that naturalistic process to come to fruition. Gal Gadot was a real life Wonder Woman in every sense of the phrase, serving in the Isreali Army while also being Ms. Israel and a combat specialist, if you look at the youtube video of combat training called Brei Larson vs Gal Gadot, then you'll see who is more naturally handling these tasks as well. Well those are, of course just a couple real life examples. I am not skeptical but cautious here, I will be going to see the movie and it will likely be great just know that Brei wasn't the best choice but who knows, I may as well just get used to this as every other person Marvel/Disney has assigned to act as or in part to - shall we say.
  12. Yes, but it's not as bad as Skyrim...yet...Soon.... soon. It is Capcom, after all who are just as shady/bad as Bethesda. For right now though, Double D is safe.
  13. Anotha day, another democratic nazi...
  14. As a comic nerd, not too excited for it. Brei Larson isn't that great of an actor compared to other Marvel actors/actresses which have been outdone by CW's talents. I am hoping for Next Avengers to break this curse. There's hope
  15. Active Time Battle is just Squaresoft's more complex rendition of turn-based combat. The similarities are still there at least. I always considered it to be a sub-version/inferior variation of turn-based combat for that reason.
  16. I turned it (auto-aim) off from the start, the more I played the game, the more I found myself disabling the crosshairs and hud - only to enable the map for some things but ya get my drift. However, it's fun to look on YouTube and see people failing miseeably at playing the game without auto-aim and no hud since combat can get pretty chaotic. I think reactivity is more important to sensitivity in combat for games such as this and although sensitivity is great, reactivity seems to have some lag which may be causing the drag. I think that also goes for the horse steering but I'm not sure. Waiting for Arthur is a thing in the game though, wait for him to get on a horse, to get off, to open a door, to climb down a ladder and what not. It's almost simulation and that's what's strange about games like this. When we get a game with this much depth, there's consequences of realism in animations to tell the story of those actions and when players get what they want, they must sit through it. As for camp... You'll begin seeing people doing work and donating funds soon or should soon anyway. However, you won't be able to upgrade past a certain point. By the 3rd quarter of the game, I was no longer donating because I upgraded to maximum and didn't use anything from camp stock (no need). Toggling between first and person views is nice for me but I wouldn't recommend first person for anyone who gets motion sickness from gaming. But if you don't, I'll say; If you played through and finished the game in third person, I'd encourage you to play the game again in first person. It's strange that the game offers so much replay value even aside from that. So much for the typical Rockstar open world game if you ask me.
  17. One thing that has always proven true for first person games - whether retro or modern - is that turn-based does not work well because it's never good for pacing, strategy and immersion. It would be like playing X-Com in first person, it just would not work without feeling forced and awkward. Just look at the shameful first person turn-based dungeon-crawler rpg trash on GoG. I'm sure if someone found a good way to do turn-based, bigger AAA would be doing it but even Sqauresoft has gone the way of fast paced real-time. Bioshock Infinite > Bioshock 2 > Bioshock > System Shock 2 > System Shock Doom 2016 > Doom OG > Doom II Do you see what is happening? As games evolve, they become better but only if devs learn from past mistakes. You are missing out on some great games. As for The Outer Worlds, it won't have a stupid VATS system but it will have a bullet-time so that will work nicely. Makes so much more sense and to me, doesn't "feel" like Obsidian saying "Let's just fill in things/features to make Fallout fans happy" but more of an effort to improvetye Fallout formulas. That's why the game will be better than New Vegas and Fallout 3... Nit going to say it will be better than Fallout 4 since Fallout 4 has a bunch of features and depth that The Outer Worlds won't be able to touch on. And that's okay, since Fallout 4 is more survival and base-building than rpg.
  18. Meh. It's like Metal Gear meets No One Lives Forever, based of the comics though, wonder if it'll actually be good.
  19. The controls are the worst things about the game. That and character movement. There's nothing more frustrating than steering your horse right and your horse running into a tree dead ahead of you - and hearing people say "It's your fault". It's like 90's games controls coming back to haunt us all over again.
  20. HyperJam is essentially a cyber-punk Powestone, looks good.
  21. Old-School Anno for old folks is back! Make me feel young again!!! https://comicbook.com/gaming/2019/01/07/alien-blackout-mobile-game/?fbclid=IwAR2eEjBzuyNLRvnSEP8GVEfgYYQSI-uI7qhPey_KcjDW4vZf765EtkrdMQU Alien: Blackout revealed. Devs confirm it to be a mobile game, tote it will have more depth and higher quality gameplay than Alien: Isolation. Yeah, we should all be pretty excited right now as this very well could change gaming on our phones as we know it.
  22. You must be just now finding out about this... The game is 2 years old. Anyway, points for not being rogue-esque as well. The game is simple as easy enough, wait until you start Soul Steel mode (assuming you really like the game). Good luck. I always think of re-buying it on PS4 to get the trophies on there and make boss videos. A friend of mine got Salt & Sanctuary and beat all bosses on first try, however when they played Hollow Knight they raged. And that person is a Dark Souls expert so I'm quite proud that I'm actually quite good at Hollow Knight - whilst sucking at Dark Souls. Must be all the years of platformers like Sonic and Rayman. Rayman PS1 still be hailed as one of the most difficult platformers of any generation.
  23. I'm guessing this means you did not watch the video though?
