Still on about AC Odyseey... Nightmare difficulty is no longer worth it since there's no achievements/trophies for playing on higher difficulties. I'm going to change to hard, didn't have a problem til the army battles where I'm just getting overwhelmed - strange since my character feels/seems tougher in stronghold takeovers. The exploration though, is far superior to other rpg's, commanding the ship and exploring islands is a remarkable feeling which I didn't get from Deadfire. AC Odyseey gives you that Master and Commander feeling as you sail full speed, accompanied by humpback whales and purpoise dolphins, only to later get bombarded by a thunderhead cloud qhich spews cyclonic storms and pirate ships who gang up to take down your vessel. Abother thing I like is that enemies scale to player, instead of staying their respective level. I always saw this a huge problem with Witcher 3 as it made Geralt feel OP after the main campaign was over. So far, that is all I've gathered. More Ubi praise coming soon!

Sunless Skies releases next week! Sunless Sea was better than Baldurs Gate 2 and Deadfire, so I expect now Sunless Skies to be even better.. The devs described it as "Bioshock meets John Carpenters' The Thing" and they were dead on. Time to reinstall it I guess, last time I played was in early alpha when the game barely had any content and a broken u.i. Can't wait to see how it all turned out. Like the cmoments suggests, I do see some planecape torment as well. The whole "Your crew can be an incognito princess, a repented devil, your aunt" screams planescape torment. One thing is for certain, players will romance their aunt and get the princess drunk before impregnating her whilst serving satan as a meal. Ahhh, Failbetter Games, you are truly what real rpg's should forever be.

Steam is my favorite but I don't care if a game that I want to play is an Epic store exclusive, most people aren't smart enough to know that these are all "timed exclusives" which only last about a year or so. Why I love Epic Games Store? Not because it's good - it's really not but at least it's better than GoG/Origin and gives people free games that are actually worth playing. Steam is actually benefiting by the backlash, the more Steam users complain/whine, the more devs realize they made a grim mistake. Take Supergiant for example, putting Hades EA on Epic as an exclusive. You didn't think it would be a big deal, but it did. Who did it hurt more in the end? Epic and the game developers are the ones who get hurt in the end. Steam users may whine for a period but let's face it, Steam has alot of great games that don't make it to Gog, Origin or Epic. So there's really no loss as they forget about the game in a couple of weeks or a months. Meh, so far every developer that has done Epic exclusive deal has regretted it and learned from it. Metro Exodus dev/pubs (whatever their names are) won't be any different in this regard.

Yup. I'm sure, nothing I say makes sense and everyting is just cooked on grill bologna, and not even well crafted bologna at that Very well then. Anyway, moving on.... More entertaining political stuff! -

I have never complained about things happening in politics or the leader in office. I just talk about the whiners who are complaining and the news/medial output which covers it. I never felt the need to vent about politics, nor did I ever think I was. That's why I say it's more entertainment to me than anything else bit watching others suffer because their base of opinion or difference of it was always an amusing ans interesting thing to me. For example, the liberal getting ran over by the truck. It didn't bother me that he was protesting but it was pretty interesting and entertaining to see the video which showed him protesting and then getting hit. I also, found the comments hilarious so I couldn't help talk about it or post it here. That said, If I thought my opinion on the internet mattered, I'd post in a social media with my real name and with family/friends instead something like Facebook, Twitter, etc. If I thought my voice mattered at all in politics case, I'd vote. It would be useless for me to complain on a gaming forum which doesn't really take things in general (or me) seriously. And I'm okay with that -
The concept sounds interesting. Even if it's a GoT clone, it is still unique because of the setting well, setting it apart. Kinda like Mortal Engines being a Steampunk Star Wars.

Except that's not what I said.... I said I don't vote. How would I have false hope if I don't take side, that doesn't quite make sense. I was obviously talking about people who do vote and expect to have a voice. Hmmm... maybe I didn't communicate that well enough with my butchered english. -

It wasn't sarcasm or satire, not sure what you mean. Maybe my english was bad which is why I said before that english isn't my primaral language but sounds like you're trying to say that my last sentence somehow contradicts everything else I said which it clearly doesn't. It's often that people will make up things or excuses in order to support or validate the hope that they have made. In politics, the hope is often false because is not politics built upon lies in the first place? Manipulation by congress to the peoples isn't anything new and that's why I have chosen to further get involved on this forum but not alligned in any politics as a whole. -

This man makes alot of good points. Alternative facts are useless and when getting exposed as alternative facts, people will yell. What happened to actual knowledge of politics? -

As long as President Trump doesn't get impeached, he still wins. And he won't get impeached because he still has more support than against. Even after all this that is going on. They simply don't have the power to impeach him. And yes, that's why I don't vote. Everything is controlled and the people refuse to believe it. They'll blame hackers, double voters and other things when they don't get their way but in their ignorance refusing to believe or accept that the government is further schwering them over. We as Americas citizens tend to think we actually have an opinion or a voice. History has only proven opposite. Why people have false hope, it only sets them up for disappointment and need to vent through the internet. -
It reminds me of one of my favorite Crpg's called "Rise Of The Argonauts" released years ago, the combat seems to be a nod to it at least as well as the specific atmosphere. Just check out the weapons combat Maybe Ubisoft loved Rise Of The Argonauts as much as I did but to return to a game (Odyseey) with that type of atmosphere and story is incredible. ROTA is one of the most underrated Crpg's ever made. Hats off to Ubi for this re-connection, I like Odyseey already more than Witcher 3 as a game and as an rpg. That's saying something. Skills/Abilities are better put to use and I like that I can have shortcuts for 8 total (4 range and 4 melee). Sometimes it's better to focus on the atmosphere and fun rather than if my horse has personality (RDR2). Sure all the bells and whistles are nice but in the end they don't matter and aren't the things we remember. Odyseey just feels more right in this regard.

Our president seems to be smarter than his doubters and opposition, that's key. It's like watching a superhero without powers (Batman/IronMan) survive attacks from heroes WITH powers (Superman) and mocking them for not being able to do anything about it. Or to be fairly accurate, The SJW/Liberals are like the Hulk in that they are loud and alot of people make up the body but they are also slow or, not very smart but yet claim our president (a successful millionaire with an empire log before getting involved with politics, isn't intelligent). Strangely, looking at this strictly from a non-republican/democratic side, our enemy is not foreign countries and relations but our own people, in it's division, we watch as President Trump TRiUMPs. But yeah, he will easily survive it and I doubt he's even worried about the American people's reaction, after all it won't damage him in any way. I mean, It's not like he's going to say "Wah, we didn't win this time so I'm moving out of the country" like democrats did when he won the election. -
Some hours into my journey of AC Odyseey on Nightmare difficulty on exploration mode (no map icons).... What can I say so far in comparing the newest AC game to RDR2 and Witcher 3? What AC Odyseey lacks for in detail to animations and townsfolk routines/actions in RDR2/TW3, it makes up for in better exploration, unique activities and intuition. -Early on in the game, you get some tutorial missions and find that the control scheme isn't typical, but at least it's super-easy to pick up and remember. -I have been trying to kill my horse in Odyseey, it won't die, I don't have to keep tapping a button to keep pace. Call it what you will, that "lack" of character is already making Odyseey a more enjoyable experience than RDR2 though. -In the first or second quest in campaign, you're going after a debt. You are given quite a few options, you can make him pay double, make him pay the original amount borrowed, kill him, let him off the hook, pay his debt or break his equipment. This type of attention to storytelling and approaching quests is beyond anything in Witcher 3 and RDR2 so I'm looking forward to seeing other things in the game. I knew I was going to enjoy the game but I didn't know I would be enjoying it this much. I now put AC Origins on my list - to pick up next.

I don't believe the president is finished yet because the wall doesn't define President Trump or his term. It's one of the less important things in his political career but democrats are spinning this to make it seem like he hasn't accomplished anything and never will. But well, republicans aren't finished yet, Democrats always return the favor by messing things up as well so I'm not sure why people are actung like the war of Republican vs Democrat is over. Even if President Trump isn't re-elected next term and say he ends up being replaced by a democrat and the office and senate gets filled with democrats, democrats will mess up just as bad but it likely won't be televised or mocked such volumes because you know, the liberals and sjw's will find something to whine about and make their mistakes into a "victimized" cause I could only imagine how horrble it would be and since demos are even more divisive among themselves - sometimes even more division than against their actual enemy the Republicans. That just further validates and proves my point. -

That reminds of when I read one of the most stupidest things on the net, which went something like: "God bless America is like alahu akbar" Some peeps just don't have a brain I guess. America is Amanda Waller and all the countries we deal with are essentially a Suicide Squad. For now they are under America's grace but when they step outta line... BAM!!! The button gets pressed. -
Not a bad game for $15 bucks. Everything from Ubisoft is pretty much quality and worth the money so ya can't lose really

Ktchong, Your font size is and pre-assumptions are more of a national emergency lol But really, You speak as if these are things that either already are something to worry about (global warming) or if they happened to the whole nation frequently and consecutively (the school shootings). But yeah, Gun control isn't going to stop anything, you're believing the usual political bs you are fed. If someone wants a gun whether a student child or a terrorist, they'll find one - doesn't matter if the law makes it harder to obtain. Crime... finds a way. -
Amazon's answer to DC's Titans, no doubt. Can it be as good though?
-
So I saw Mortal Engines, don't think it was Star Wars ripoff, though I do see the borrowed ideas such as the ending But by that logic, there would be so many other movies/shows that stole from the original Star Wars trilogy. Are we going to call it the Steampunk Star Wars?

As someone who leans more toward the left, Imma ask... Should we trust this source in the age where leftist extremists call themselves "unbiased" and manipulate statistics? My gut tells me don't believe everything I read. Esp if it's on the net and even moreso when it comes to politics.
