Just saw the new Discovery episode. My two cents: I didn't see any issues, well not any worth mentioning anyway. I mean if you grew up with one of the Star Treks like The Next Generation, Voyager, Enterprise or the others I could see the classic formula being a personal issue. But the new episode was pretty what I expected it to be, which is an ode/tribute to the original which inspired it. We finally get a real return to classic real Star Trek, and the cast is great too. I knew Anson Mount would be a perfect rendition to Christopher Pike's character. There was only one episode in the classic but that episode had so much Pike that you got everything you needed from it to know the character. Character progression is rarely needed if you have a good actor, production team, direction and writing - which is probably why hour long movies can get popular and well recieved while introducing new characters. The classic episode is really no different and hence why Pike was a beloved character. Check this out

Yep. I don't think it's that rare a thing but since I don't go to the movies alot so the examples I listed were few. I could only imagine how many men and women cried seeing The Notebook or Bridge To Taribithia for example, and for good reason. The writing in those movies abd acting were the best in their respective generations as far as emotional delivery in content.

In my experience that isn't true. Certain charm combinations can utterily trivialize bosses to the point of them being a pushover, e.g. Shaman Stone and Spell Twister combined with Stalwart Shell will allow you to kill Troupe Master Grimm with Howling Wraiths while he's shooting fireballs - just tank the hits and blast away. There's no reason not to tailor charms to the boss you're fighting or struggling with. At least not unless you're either doing a speed run or can't, like in the Pantheons. I am playing it again on Steam but I find that switching charms helps more with platforming and exploration. Maybe it's just me and my playstyle. It's on sale for $9.89 on PSN so I'm going to buy it on there and make some videos I wonder how many people gave here to the well and how many did not

It's one of those movies that people will love or hate I guess I can't wait to see it, I want a bad ending, like a depressing one. I always tend to root for the villains lol The last movie I remember seeing people actually walk out off was "Land Of The Lost" with Will Farrell. I remember thinking to myself at the end "How did I sit through for such crap?" And the only three movies where I remember people emotionally ripped to the point where they publically cried were "The Passion Of The Christ" On the crucifiction scene, "The Last Samurai" at the (near) ending and "The Lion King" when Jeremy Irons died. Poor Simba!

God bless America Lol "I'm forcing congress to eat my favorite food, McDonalds, during the shutdown. They will be greatful since it's served on silver platters." Food fit for a billionaire. I enjoy McDonalds still. -
Continuing the journey of Young Justice. Everything just feels right, although I'd say the animation was better in the 90's DC cartoons, the story-writing is much better now so I guess I see why it's doing rather well in the cartoon space.

Sorry, I edit it out now

Salma with grey hair, reminding us who are old that we are only getting older... Geez

I've never seen anything more Japanese, it looks like Disgaea in a 2D platformer. Trails of CoD Steel 3.

Yeah, don't change your charms though, find the set you are comfortable with early on in game and stick with that set. If you think that changing your set of charms will help you get closer to defeating a particular boss, it won't. It's not going to change your strategy or playstyle either (It's not Megaman). This coming from someone who's beaten the game and every boss, and I'm strongly considering the PS4 version just to make video snippets. Keep trying and one day it just may *click*.

Ahhh... thought you were talking about the side mission in San Denis gunstore, sounds very similar to it at least. Really? Geez... At this point I'm not sure you would figure out how to beat Ravek, which is the easiest boss in the game

This may be a dumb qeustion but have you tried drawing before you press the rob button? IIRC, you have the option to do so and if I had to guess, I'd say 1 in every 10 people robbed me as not everyone is armed or people were scared because I pulled out premature rather than later. I am seriously missing playing RDR2 though, unfortunately I uninstalled the game after I finished so no clue but I'm guessing that since I'm not a PS+ member, my save is gone. Oh well. The game is pretty much open from the second chapter anyways so no huge loss.

Gameplay reveal, looks better than the cinematics, we're at that era I suppose. The best post-apocalyptic game in years and of course, it's PS4 exclusive. That's a given.

It's a rarity among rpg's, it has a strange advantage over other rpg's as you can either play it as a casual game, not caring - or you can invest all your care into developing your character/characters. Either way just works with Skyrim.

This is too good not to post

Easy peasy. As an observant/intelligent dev once said: "if you're not trying to knock down every wall in a game you're into, you're playing it wrong" Who knew it would be the thing to do in so many games? Ex. Zelders, Sonic, Hollow Knight, Arkham games, Spelunky, ect. It's just too easy.

I didn't think they would but I'm glad they did. I tried to see both sides here, but Disney was doing a Nintendo. Not cool of them.

Yeah, I was wrong about the main character then, but I'm not sold that I was wrong on the other things. This is the first Metro that was prioritized for console over PC after all so alot is bound to change. From what I've seen, all the gameplay points to a nice mixture Rage, Far Cry and Mad Max. In fact if someone were to ask me for a Rage 2 without all the bright colors and borderlands comedy, I'd recommend them Metro Exodus. Maybe you're talking about the smaller survival details though, I am talking about the bigger picture of format and structure. I think the smaller systems of Metro will be intact but as some others pointed out, the looting has been Far Cry'd so other stuff will be simplified/casualized as well. That's not a bad thing since the game is supposedly longer than both past Metros combined but hopefully it doesn't overstay its welcome either. Also, story structure will be quite different from past Metro games which will completely change the feeling. We know that the seasonal journey reminds us of one game alone, perhaps that is a nod to The Last Of Us. The question is: Can Metro do better? Aa far as if the game as a whole will be good, I'm excited to see how it does, not sure if I'll be buying by release or when on sale. I still have to see alot more and even though I hate basing purchases off of reviews, I think it's smart in this case (for me personally) since it's so much different from past Metro and Stalker games. I'm still more excited about Rage 2 personally but maybe this game will be more than just a Fallout 76 liberator. Maybe it will even be special.

Since every hero show for DC is vastly unique, I think that's what Marvel has to work on. I'll never get tired of super-hero shows but that's probably why I have DC Universe Streaming service and prioritize it over Netflix/Prime Video/Hulu, and well, simply because it's better Marvel just has to find that sweet spot to draw in different audiences instead of just one type of audience. DC is doing impressive at making new fans just from marketing, the shows and appearances. Even inclusion of real world topics and lgbtq support go a long way but more importantly - how to transition comics unto the screen. Staying respectful to the context but creating a believable abd trusted identity for characters is a hard thing to do. It's also why I doubt there will be another live action Wonder Woman as good as Linda Carter's. At the time it was everything tv watchers wamted - male or female. Relatability is key so I think Marvel is going to try to deal with improving on this key public factor.
-
I suppose this is going to compete against the likes of Titans, Doom Patrol CW's Arrowverse and Young Justice cartoons. I'd love to see a live action New Mutants that compliments The Gifted and initially calls for crossovers! I can't wait to see what Marvel's response is.

So basically, Metro Exodus is: *Female Protagonist *Ubisoft/WB Games Style Open World * More Mad Max Than Metro * More Color *Vehicles are actually drivable off a rail and have purpose It certainly looks and sounds better than their previous games, that's for sure! I'm much more excited for it now

Yes indeed, and also don't make a fan-film which is more meaningful than any of the movies in the franchise, thus the owners of the licence will go full-on auto Nintendo. Edit (hours later)... What is the best part of Bubble Boy? Poor Bubble Boy! Edit 2: John Wick 3 is among us folks!
