  1. Well, Bioware did make an action game not too long ago (MDK 2). Bungie made FPS games, in addition to action platformers (Oni) as well as an RTS series (Myth).
  2. Well, we have a KOTOR 3 thread and we don't know who's making that
  3. I certainly wouldn't say that Evolution was a good movie. But it was fun and entertaining.
  4. All I really care about is the atmosphere and setting of the Fallout universe remain intact.
  5. The only way not being full light/dark will "penalize" you, is that you won't get the Lightside/Darkside Mastery bonus. Which is easy enough to live without. Force Powers of your like side will be more expensive, but force powers of the opposite side are less expensive.
  6. I didn't think we were trying to innovate for the sake of innovation. Meh.
  7. I've heard about Americans wearing backpacks with Canadian tags and how tourists get more respect in Europe if they go as "Canadians." But is it actually true? I never knew if it was true, or just a story to make us Canadians feel all good about ourselves.
  8. I'm not sure really what this has to do with anything, because even if Bethesda were to make the perfect Fallout game in the perfect Fallout Universe, it wouldn't be based on a "new" concept. So what does it matter if there was 100 or 0 new concepts in the last three or four years.
  9. My usual strategy is to get Bronze working ASAP. Interesting choices on your guys' parts.
  10. Nittymakki did play very well.
  11. Goaltending wasn't Canada's problem.
  12. No, it's an action game masquerading as an RPG due to character development and concepts like classes and levels that many people think make it into an RPG only because they fail to realise that many RPGs don't have classes and levels at all. It has some character development in the skill system, though, and it's fun for a while... But that doesn't make it an RPG. Nor does the fact that it has a plot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  13. That's a good question...why do you bother? You already stated that it was just what you felt. Though I imagine that that statement is a bit of a copout, since you were guily of it yourself when you decided Darque's classification of it was wrong too.
  14. So your compromise is to keep the Fallout experience the same, but add some stuff. Again....some middle ground.
  15. I fail to see how a "middle ground" somehow involves keeping the original Fallout experience 100% intact.
  16. With so many people thinking you did contradict yourself, maybe it wasn't as clear as you thought it was.
  17. Necroposting is always in. I'd rather bring back an old thread and renew the discussion than see fifteen different thread on the same subject (Bungie.net). But then, that's just my opinion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd rather not, because when I read the first post a typically expect it to be somewhat recent. Certainly seemed like an odd thread to complain about Maul coming back, when the movie was already released.
  18. If, at the very least, it includes all the stuff that is contained in Fallout, then it's not a middle ground. When using the term "middle ground," you imply a compromise between the two extremes. Your "middle ground" looks awfully tilted in the direction of the old Fallout. As in, "you don't care as long as it allows you to play and experience the game like the original Fallout." Hardly a compromise. All you've done is allow concessions for people that had reservations about the original game, by essentially building on top of the original game. Some middle ground.
  19. Saw Lord of War. Between that and the Weatherman, I think Nicholas Cage has an excellent "storyteller's narrator" voice. It was entertaining.
  20. Kudos to Atreides for posting his view on the controversial subject. For the record though I disagree
  21. You're kidding, right? Please say you're kidding and I totally missed the sarcasm. He's ELEVEN. At that age I thought I was in love with Kirk Cameron. (Yes, I realize I'm really dating myself by making that statement.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're not that old. I was a fan of Mike Seaver's crazy antics too!
