Scandinavia has, for right or wrong, been a term that increasingly (at least in the west) represents the Nordic countries. Though the topic is definitely a disputed one. I see it similar to people referring to the USA as America, or the UK as England. The wikipedia talk page about it is quite the gong show.

I think Feargus is just using a term commonly used by many people to describe the game. I'm not sure how we can say we are the ones "in the right," when it's a minority of gamers that seem intent on making sure Diablo is referred to as an RPG.

For the record SgtSniper, I have no beef with you. You see it as a cost issue and enjoy the types of games consoles provide. Though if I come along and start questioning you based on your purchasing decisions, and make suppositions based on that, I'd be surprised if you didn't get defensive too. But I'd also be surprised if, when patches and content upgrades start coming to consoles (which they already started doing BTW), you ignored them.

Well, I'd suspect a good FO would be a subset of good RPGs. The funny thing is, by saying we hope it's good so that we have another fun game to play in no way indicates that we think it will or will not be a success. Gabs is just being confrontational for the sake of it. Unless she really would rather it not be a good game, which would be bizarre indeed. I never hope any game sucks, because if it's a good game, then I'll enjoy playing it.
