  1. 32-bit operating systems and an unoptimized game is going to lead to crashes. No surprise there.
  2. Those people at gamescom were writers and designers, not the people who will be actively fixing the issues that everyone is posting about who are programmers and scripters.
  3. It is happening in normal full screen not windowed mode, hence the issue.
  4. I suspect that Pillars of Eternity Configuration window won't be in the final version, that is just a Unity Engine thing.

  7. This is definitely unique to your system. I would post your computer specs when receiving this kind of a bug otherwise it is useless.
  8. It is the item disappearing bug that has been reported in a number of threads.
  9. I have seen this as well. I doubt this is working as intended, as long as you have Focus in your pool, you can kill just about anything with Soul Ignition.
  10. As mrmonocle stated, have you guys turned off the colorblind mode? It is on by default.
  11. There are some other points where NPCs are talking to each other and you have to wait until they're done with their conversation to talk to them. As others said, zone out and zone back in works for Lord Harond.
  12. I can see your point. Doesn't bother me too much though... I think most people will associate "elder" with stronger / tougher when they encounter them. I did. From everything I've read, the way I understand it is that only PotD will have a boost to enemy stats. Easy, Normal and Hard should each have their own creature spawn setups, resulting in different / more enemies, but no stat boosts. PotD uses ALL the spawn setups *and* includes a stat boost. Crazyness. I think what archangel979 is saying is that Easy vs Hard mode might only be boosting stats, not adding spawns. I have yet to try different difficulty modes so not sure myself.
  13. It is a known issue that items disappear, he probably lost his grimoire.
  14. For me, it had to do with reloading the game. If you return to the main menu and load the Save, the quests were there.

Problem: Game is running in full-screen, I have two monitors, if I move the mouse to the edge of the screen that is next to the 2nd monitor the mouse moves out of the game window and the game does not scroll. Expected: Mouse is locked to the PoEt window so scrolling works correctly on all screen edges.
  16. If you accidently press keyboard 'S', characters will move at half speed. Check the controls, S is half speed, D is double speed, there is no default for normal speed so you can set it there.
  17. The descriptions are very good. There are no dump stats like D&D.

  19. Meh, D:OS lost my interest with the second map. Bland enemies, awful writing, generic storyline, unimaginative world, atrocious color choices, cartoony graphics and aesthetics, extremely limited viable character and party compositions, and an "open world" on rails. Just skip it and focus on WL2 and PoEt. I finished D:OS and you have hit the nail on the head on every single point you made. It is Magicka with turn-based combat.

  24. They said the backer beta was 3-5 hours playthrough, obviously a lot more time can be spent messing with character builds.
