I still don't understand why people love Valve so much. -

This is a reoccurring problem with POE1. In scripted cut scenes it will put your main character at the front of the party whether or not that's where he/she's supposed to be. On the positive side, I don't recall any of this in Deadfire. -
Good list. My own would have a couple of changes. 6. Deadfire companions were more fleshed out and yet less enjoyable to me. I liked the sidekicks more because they were 'simpler' and made less hassle about what I said or did. 9. If we're talking cities with tons of quests you have to space them out properly otherwise we end up with Neketaka where I hit the city, spend 12 hours (with minimal combat) doing quests, leave and only return to turn in bounties 'cause I've done everything, though I couldn't remember half the quests. 20. I liked Deadfire combat music, I love POE's combat music. I own the soundtracks for both and still regularly listen to the entire POE soundtrack. I stopped listening to Deadfire about a year ago (in fact I mute Deadfire and put POE's sound on in the background). The only problem I have with 1's combat music is that they could've turned it down just a tad.

Dark Alliance is basically Vermintide. That's not a bad thing, but who did the camera in that video? Surely that's not gameplay footage.

But he's not an AI, he's just a cleaning bot. He doesn't need a personality, he's just funny.

Excuse some indulgent self quoting. and Long story short: better than DA:I by a long shot. Better questing, classless levels, more interesting setting (though I didn't love it as much as many), and much more varied play styles. The negatives are mostly due to budget like stiff animations, some stilted English vo (French studio), and a fair bet of backtracking.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

With 4,500 passing yards and a 58% completion percentage.

Nope. Using your signature that way if the suggestion defaults it won't ruin my credit.

Jets have their fifth (and probably last) win of the season. Looked it up and found Brady has six games this year where he completed less than 56% of his passes. The last four games account for four of those.

CDPR did an interview a couple of weeks ago where they said Cyberpunk is going to be shorter than TW3 but with more replayability. They didn't say exactly how much shorter, but if TW3's main quest is 70+ hours to finish I'd guess that Cyberpunk's will be about 50 hours. -
Companions' Equipment?

Only played all the way through once, but I think your assumption is correct. -
As @Boeroer said, the problem with having a majority of the game take place in a city is that the devs have to pack the place with quests. In Athkatla, after leaving the tutorial dungeon you can't walk three steps without running into another quest. If you grab every quest as you come across it soon your journal is full of a quests, making them feel random and disconnected because they piled up so fast. Spreading that content out over several locations and putting space (spacial and/or temporal) in between them makes those same quests stand out more. In this way Vizima (as it was mentioned earlier) in the Witcher 1 is a case of 'town' because in order to reach new districts you have to progress the main story, thereby separating those districts in time (also, half the game does take place in towns or the swamp anyway). Cities vs Towns is the Open World vs Hub World argument in microcosm.

Next week: Great Britain outlaws the possession of fire extinguishers.

Pretty sure this is what gen z thought baby boomers called marijuana. (Had this very conversation with a gen. Z the other day and only she'd ever heard of it.)

Need modding support NOW

They don't own the rights to Unreal 4 and therefore can't make official modding tools. -

But can you sabotage other players? 'Cause otherwise, what's the point? -
Three wins for my Jets in a row. The universe may implode.
