Yup, that is why I don't patch their games. If I want to not be OP in RPG I simply chose not to be. Nerfing all good, fun combos is imo worst you can do in singleplayer RPG where there is no PvP and no co-op even. I had my share of fun I'm not looking for OPness in early game. I'm looking for decently powerful builds that are fun to play at mid-late game. Obsidian has done some work in increasing the difficulty but in the same time, they've chose the easy path by nerfing and making gameplay boring. They think by handicapping players means difficulty. That's really shallow thinking in my opinion.

I love Deadfire as well. The worst bug for me is the random neketaka encounter never gets triggered. I have never able to get the Griffin blade for all the new characters. It's just crazy. I'm already level 20. They just go silence without a single news. The only way I can get it would be console in? And that's cheating to break achievement

BDD ain't that great with many enemy casters. Arcane dampener is really PITA. Is there a way to counter it? Enemy mages hide behind tanks and DPSers. And that's not just 1 mage or warlocks we are talking about. There are few of them. If the idea is that player must take the hit, only way is hostile reduction? You can't be possibly having everyone in a team to focus on that

Gaming industry seems pretty relaxed. In my servicing line, I'll get screwred big time for little issues or issues not related to me I think it's not gaming industry seems relaxed,but obsidian's gaming industry seems pretty "relaxed".This kind of bug should be hotfixed ASAP. Not to mention reoccurring bugs

There's this Faster Deadfire. Looks neat. Possibly going to try in my next PT. Is it compatible with current and future patches? And lastly, good job on the mod! Now are you able to make Lord Darryn's Voulge to have Legendary upgrade?

Brilliant had broken design. It's still broken now, just less so. It also probably took them all of like 5 minutes to talk about and fix. In other words, whynotboth.gif? I can't visualize how this nerf done by obsidian solve anything. The only possible way would be making SOT per encounter instead of per resource. Or per cast per character. AM probably good for 2 HOF cast but now it's not so possible I think.

This is my feel on ship combat. I have no idea why but my chances to hit with cannon are high and occasionally I get misses. Not to mention the damage it dealt sometimes bad but also instead of hitting hull, it hit the deck or sail with chainshot. On the other hand enemy that has -15 chance to hit me hit most of the time and dealt alot of damage!. Bear in mind I'm aware of the shop distance, what cannon im using, etc. Enemy ships seems to have hidden or undocumented buffs in their to hit and damage. Just like the normal fight encounters, those enemies have very high ACC. You get easily hit even your DEF are over 90-100. In other words Obsdian difficulty = AI cheating

They had time only for nerfing. Unfortunately I agree with you. Sadly this is the mentality obsidian designers have. They look at popular builds and then nerf the hell out of it. You don't see any much builds anymore. Plus most of the older builds are already obsolete due to the major nerfs. Newcomers who follow the build guide may have no idea it's not what they are expecting. Not to mention hell alot of glitches and reoccurring bugs. I guess we have no choice since I think the fanbase of this game are niche. What I've seen Oelcat is putting alot of efforts in addressing pathfinder and through good support, that's what makes Larian successful with DOS

worst fight i would say is the first ship fight with benweth. ship crew are very easily killed and few times eder died as well. and you are easily killed too. obsidian noticed their mistake and then even you are killed you are reborn on the beach. is just a prologue starting character. not sure sometimes obsidian are clueless in what they are doing.
