combat speed etc
Aarik D replied to lordkim's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello lordkim, There are only 3 speeds in the game, Slow, Normal, and Fast. If you would like to see more speed options, we are more than happy to take any feedback or suggestions. Thank you for your support. -
Hello DiKayOs, I loaded up your save and the Catacombs were not explored and the map was blacked out on areas I did not reveal. Could you please upload a screenshot as well? Thanks a bunch!

Hey bufossil, Thanks for getting those files to me, those are the correct files. I loaded up your save and has no issues at all. I did see a lot of issue in your output log. Could you please tell me what exactly the issue is? Also when you uninstalled the game, did you delete the Pillars of Eternity Folder in the Steam directory before reinstalling? When upgrading to Windows 10, were you coming from a 32bit OS and upgrading to 64bit?

Aarik D replied to MuffinTop's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello MuffinTop, Thanks for uploading you save. I loaded up your save and after reading all the notes, I was able to interact with the door and get to Concelhaut. Please make sure you read all notes from all 4 of the apprentices. Pelden, Tanoss, Sabel, and Uariki. Thank you for your support! -
Can't enter Cragholdt's room
Aarik D replied to MuffinTop's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello MuffinTop, Did you speak to the person you didnt kill? They should give you the last note to read. Can you please upload a save file via dropbox (or anything cloud site) so I can take a look? Thanks. -
Fragments of a scattered faith bug
Aarik D replied to OverDrone's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Bazzek, Welcome to the forums and thanks for looking up the issue before making a new post! I loaded up your save and I was able to loot the quest item. Please verify your game cache in steam and see if that fixes it for you. Steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Thanks! -
Hey DiKayOs, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! At any point did you use the console command cheat NoFog? If you are in a town, such as Gilded Vale, Defiance Bay, or Twin Elms, this is automatically revealed for you. If that is not the case and you are playing from Steam, please verify your game files. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Could you please upload a save file and an output log via dropbox if that didn't work? Thanks a bunch!

Bug: Enemies not attacking
Aarik D replied to flyingsaucers's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Jens, I have added a bug into our database with your files included. On your good save, were you ever able to reproduce the problem? Thanks! -
Hey pasgrave, Welcome to the forums! While we have never tested the game on the Surface Book, you can still gain access to the system specs and an output log. You can find those files by clicking on the link in my signature. If it is an issue with Unity 4 games, then there is nothing we can do to fix that. However, if you go Power Options in the Control Panel, you can set the preferred plan to High Performance and that should set your Surface Book to the higher GPU. Hope that answers your question, Thank you for your support!

Constant crashing
Aarik D replied to jbelt's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Jbelt, Sorry for the delay and welcome to the Forums! Is your windows 10 also 32bit or did you upgrade to 64bit? Make sure that your graphics card has the latest drivers installed and verify your game files in steam. If you are still running a 32 bit OS, here is a work around mentioned in the Pinned Workaround post For 32-Bit Machines There are reports of reporting crashing when transitioning on 32-bit machines. We are aware of the issue and attempting to fix it. This issue did come up on Wasteland 2, which is another Unity project, and a workaround was discovered by their fans: here You can change your system settings on your computer to increase RAM used by a single application. However, there are inherent risks involved when changing settings involving your operating system and any attempts to change your system settings will be at your own risk. Obsidian is not liable for any issues that might occur with those settings. Hope that works! Thank you for your support! -
