  1. I think we reduce the vfx particles because it was getting a little crazy with all the other stuff going on in the game to help out on performance.

  3. Hello Bazzek, Welcome to the forums and thanks for looking up the issue before making a new post! I loaded up your save and I was able to loot the quest item. Please verify your game cache in steam and see if that fixes it for you. Steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Thanks!
  4. Hey DiKayOs, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! At any point did you use the console command cheat NoFog? If you are in a town, such as Gilded Vale, Defiance Bay, or Twin Elms, this is automatically revealed for you. If that is not the case and you are playing from Steam, please verify your game files. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Could you please upload a save file and an output log via dropbox if that didn't work? Thanks a bunch!

  6. Hey everyone, Just to update you on the issue. Every character can place a trap down, there is a bug right now where if you place a trap within 3 meters of another companions trap, it will cause the first trap to disappear. Hope that clears up the issue for you all.

  9. Hey guys, We did have a bug where the companion AI would just run off and attack things off screen, but we have since then fixed that issue on our side. So most likely this is a related issue.

  12. Hey pasgrave, Welcome to the forums! While we have never tested the game on the Surface Book, you can still gain access to the system specs and an output log. You can find those files by clicking on the link in my signature. If it is an issue with Unity 4 games, then there is nothing we can do to fix that. However, if you go Power Options in the Control Panel, you can set the preferred plan to High Performance and that should set your Surface Book to the higher GPU.   13. I spoke with Josh and turns out that is the case. Traps are suppose to do a lot of damage as your party will just heal right afterwards. They are meant to be scary.
  14. Hey Jbelt, Sorry for the delay and welcome to the Forums! Is your windows 10 also 32bit or did you upgrade to 64bit? Make sure that your graphics card has the latest drivers installed and verify your game files in steam. If you are still running a 32 bit OS, here is a work around mentioned in the Pinned Workaround post For 32-Bit Machines There are reports of reporting crashing when transitioning on 32-bit machines. We are aware of the issue and attempting to fix it. This issue did come up on Wasteland 2, which is another Unity project, and a workaround was discovered by their fans: here You can change your system settings on your computer to increase RAM used by a single application. However, there are inherent risks involved when changing settings involving your operating system and any attempts to change your system settings will be at your own risk. Obsidian is not liable for any issues that might occur with those settings. Hope that works! Thank you for your support!

  20. Hey Elfyy, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! The problem you are experiencing is because you have 1.06 base game and 2.01 TWM. Both games need to have the same build. Please uninstall your game and download the latest installers on GOG for both the base game and the DLC. Thank you for your support!

  23. Hey Achilles, I just loaded up your save and saw that you had 1000/1000. As soon as I killed something, the next tier unlocked. Maybe the numbers aren't being added up correctly. I'll write up a bug.
