  4. Try uninstalling the drivers for your Keyboard and Mouse and reinstall them with the latest ones and see if that works. You can also test this if you have a spare mouse and keyboard on hand to find out if that is indeed the case. Thanks!
  5. Hello jbnatedog, Are you using the GOG site to install the game or GOG Galaxy? If you want, you can download GOG Galaxy and that will be the easiest way to install the game and keep it up to date. It works similar to Steam. When installing TWM, make sure you select the Pillars of Eternity.app and not the contents folder. Thanks!
  6. Hello ylno, Welcome to the forums and apologizes for the inconvenience. What platform are you playing on? (Steam, GOG, Mac, etc.) What version of the game are you on? We are currently at 2.03.788. If you are playing on Steam, please verify your game cache. To do that: Go to your Steam Library, and right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. This process will go through all of your game files and fix/replace files. It will take about 10-15 minutes. Let me know if that works. Thank you for your support!
  7. Hello General_Jah, Try sliding the quality slider all the way to the left and see if that helps out on performance, also you can set the FPS rate to MAX and try that as well. Let me know how that goes!
  8. Hello damo272, Welcome to the forums! I apologize for the inconvenience. When you uninstalled the game, did you also delete the game folder in the steam directory as well? I noticed a lot of errors in your log and deleting the game folder before reinstalling the game might solve your issue. Did you recently upgrade your OS to Windows 10? If so, what was the previous OS you had on your system? Try disabling vsync and see if that helps. Cheers!
  9. Hello rocm33, Welcome to the forums! Please make sure that you have enough space on your hard drive. If its full, it cannot generate any save files. Also try deleting your save folder and see launch the game and see if that works. Cheers!
  10. Hello Valasty, In order to progress on Durance's quest, you will have to have him in your party and camp in the wilderness. You will have a vision about Durance's staff which will then prompt more dialogue with him. After loading your save, it took me 4 camp attempts to finally get the vision. So it looks like just need to get some more camping done Let me know if that is the case. Thank you for your support!

  13. Hello Seven7221, Unfortunately you will have to resort to going back to your older save. We have fixed the issue and it will be in the next 3.0 patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  17. Hey bufossil, Thanks for getting those files to me, those are the correct files. I loaded up your save and has no issues at all. I did see a lot of issue in your output log. Could you please tell me what exactly the issue is? Also when you uninstalled the game, did you delete the Pillars of Eternity Folder in the Steam directory before reinstalling? When upgrading to Windows 10, were you coming from a 32bit OS and upgrading to 64bit?

  19. Hello MuffinTop, Thanks for uploading you save. I loaded up your save and after reading all the notes, I was able to interact with the door and get to Concelhaut. Please make sure you read all notes from all 4 of the apprentices. Pelden, Tanoss, Sabel, and Uariki. Thank you for your support!
  20. I think we reduce the vfx particles because it was getting a little crazy with all the other stuff going on in the game to help out on performance.

Please verify your game cache in steam and see if that fixes it for you. Steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Thanks!

If you are in a town, such as Gilded Vale, Defiance Bay, or Twin Elms, this is automatically revealed for you. If that is not the case and you are playing from Steam, please verify your game files. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Could you please upload a save file and an output log via dropbox if that didn't work? Thanks a bunch!
