Hello BustinJay, I loaded your save and everything came out fine. Please make sure that your graphics card has the latest drivers installed. As you can see, those posts were way back in April, and you're the first to experience this issue since then. I notice some errors in your log, so since you already verified your game cache, it is most likely a graphics issue. Thank you for your support.

Can't go back to heritage hill
Aarik D replied to Vampailleur's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Vampailleur, What side quests did you do before returning to Heritage Hill? I noticed you are still on v.2.02.721 according to your files. Please update your game to 2.03. While this will not fix your save game as it has been corrupted. Do you have an older save you can load? Try that and see if you can progress normally. Could you please upload that as well? Thanks a bunch! -
Hello Cipolla, Welcome to the forums! I apologize for the delay. I will submit your files to our database and hopefully we can see what the issue is. However, because you do not have a save right before this issue has occurred, there is little we can do to reproduce the issue or see what when wrong. Please verify your game cache in steam. It most likely will not fix your save but it may prevent it from happening in the future. I apologize for your inconvenience and thank you for your support.

Everythings gone pink!
Aarik D replied to Charly030's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Charly, Uninstalling the has no affect on your save files as they are stored in a different location. But as Andrea has suggested, its never a bad idea to err on the side of caution. -
not possible to save a game when I want
Aarik D replied to chrisroom's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Chris, Welcome to the forums and thank you for joining! Do you have enough memory space on your HDD? Users who were experiencing the same issue discovered that they did not have enough memory space on their HDD which was preventing new save from generating. Making more room cleared up this issue. Thank you for your support. -

Aarik D replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello Achilles, Thanks for uploading a save. I was actually able to reproduce this on my own while I was waiting for your save. I have confirmed the bug and added it to our database. Thank you and keep up the great work! -
Hello Mike, Unfortunately it sounds like the way the game was package is to force you to install the game through Steam. However, it should prompt you on where you would like to install the game as all application do. Are you able to uninstall the game and reinstall it through steam without the use of the DVD? That option should allow you to install the game to any directory you would like. Please make sure you deleted the Steam folder in your C: drive after you complete the uninstall.

Hello Mike, If you are running from the DVD, then yes, you will be able to launch the game without having to launch Steam. If you click on the DVD patch link I have posted earlier, that will allow you to patch your game to 2.01. However, keep in mind that we are currently on 2.03.0788 on Steam and we do not yet have a DVD patch for 2.03. Thank you for your support.

Hello Reviven, Just need some clarification, did the game include a DVD or a steam key? Could you please upload a dxdiag file and an output log via dropbox so I can take a look at your files? To find those files, please click on the link in my signature. Have you tried verifying your game cache? In your steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If that does't work, please uninstall the game and reinstall it. Do you have enough memory space on your HDD? Some users who were experiencing the same problem stated that it was due to not having enough memory space and clearing up some allowed them to save again. Let me know if any of those fixed your issue. Thanks!

Please click on the link in the signature to find the files I require. You can go to dropbox.com and make a free account and upload files there. Just make sure that its set to public. Or you can use any other cloud storage site, or google drive. Then share the link here so I can download them. -
Hey Achilles, I just tested this out on my own save and I have a rogue in my party with 14 mechanics. I have Hidden Objects Found active but ti didn't pause once for me. I tried auto-pause Party Members Finishes Ability on too just to make sure and still negative. What other pause options do you have on? Thanks!
-
Hey Achilles, While this nerf may seem bad, if you have someone with an extremely high mechanics, they are better at placing traps and can get a higher accuracy chance when placing the traps. A character with 14 mechanics gets a +42 trap accuracy and placing a Bounding Missile Trap has -20 accuracy, so you are getting +22 accuracy instead of the +10 from back in the day. But thank you for pointing this out. I have added bug reports on both traps. Keep up the good work!
