Since it doesn't look like they'll be updating the beta like they did with WOTR I'll probably just uninstall and wait for the full release.

Finished the game. I think I encountered 5 recruitable mercs but I only picked up 4 of them and I'm not sure why I did the last one except to see if I could. Will probably wait at least 15 minutes before starting again.

The game got much easier for me when I learned how to do stealth kills better. Now I can clear most maps without major firefights.

I haven't tried to make it myself in at least 25 years, always such a major endeavor. I guess if someone else asked for it then I'd make it but I wouldn't try to make it for myself. Unfortunately, my wife is never going to ask for it and my son doesn't know it exists yet.

My wife and son like home renovation shows so we've been watching Hack My Home on Netflix. It's like the other shows of its type but the gimmick is "hacks" which you get tired of hearing really quick, and by which they refer to almost everything as. They do a lot of cool and neat projects where it's usually about optimizing space so they do a lot of hidden and transforming things. I do wonder about what the family is going to do if some of that tech breaks but since the show pays for literally everything, unlike almost all HGTV shows, I can give that a pass.

Took my first mine. Well, it was the second mine I tried. The first mine(somewhere to the north a bit) that I tried was way too tough for me to beat right after starter island. Or maybe I just suck, either way, I can't wait to play again tomorrow.

I think I hate all the recruits I've trained. They keep running through a gunner's overwatch and getting everyone killed.

I just got wiped out trying to take an underground bunker but I enjoyed it. Don't remember the last time I enjoyed a fight that I lost, maybe because I was way outgunned but still nearly pulled it off.

I figured I'd start a thread on this since it seems like there are several of us playing this at the moment. I'm starting a new game now as I type this. I downloaded the Show Chance to Hit mod from the Nexus but other than that it's vanilla.

I'd swap Skywalker and Rogue One but agree with the rest, especially what you wrote about to The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

I've been craving kimchi tacos so I'm making that. Super sick though so I doubt it'll match the flavor I'm searching for.
