I hope they save the worst of the evil corp stuff for Obsidian's Shadowrun game which I have convinced myself is inevitable since I doubt they'll be working on the White Wolf IP now. No, you say?

Not really what I meant. I want Obs to succeed but I have some doubts that are (obviously) nebulous at the moment Maybe I'll feel better after more info and gameplay comes out

I'm worried too but not about the writing and not even really about it being first person only (though that is part of the reason). I'm worried about how well it'll stack up next to bigger named and budgeted (first person action adventure RPGish) titles that it's sure to be compared to... and I really hope it comes out well before Cyberpunk.

Star Trek Online. I'm not great at it or anything but it's getting frustrating doing the random queues because I keep getting matched with terrible groups that I'm unable to carry for the best rewards. Was just doing a task force operation to rescue some Romulan ships from the Tholians and there are two bonus sections where you need to rescue 10 points worth of ships in like 3 or 4 minutes or something like that. Points are dependent on how large the ship you're rescuing is and it's kind of random which ships you will see at any given time. Anyways, I put up 6 points by myself in the first bonus round and 9 points in the second and both times we failed because the other 4 players only managed 2 points in the first bonus round and none in the second.

Yeah, I think I also complained about that quest but there have been a few where I didn't think the alignments matched up very well to the actions. I think this quest bothered me so much because it's more heavy handed in forcing down a certain path by repeatedly giving you options that don't do anything with little to no reason why those options don't work.

I loved AP I also never liked PS:T

Maybe the trend of increasing grinds and MTX aren't just them seeing what they can get away with but also a means of training the customer to accept more grind and MTX

Depends on what you consider to be a role playing game. With so much genre blending and mashups a lot of games have adopted RPG features but I'm not sure that I would consider them as RPGs or what exactly that means anymore. And as far as honestly held but unpopular opinions go, how about this, New Vegas is the worst* Obsidian game. *I never played the tank game, MMO**, or DS3 **Not sure if you'd consider it an Obsidian game

Aaaand of course the DLC is broken for me

I learned a lot of practical skills in the Scouts. Of course I never really used any of it but I still find it sad that my son won't get to have those same experiences. I guess Buzzfeed has 15 helpful camping tips/tricks/hacks and number 7 will shock you.

Sounds like a lot of movies and shows I've seen lately

I may skip the story for my Jedi Knight but I doubt I will for any other characters because I don't like the default choices, especially for the Empire
