The Political Thread - Burlamaqui edition
Yeah, it says right in the article it's a private hospital. I just thought it was amusing that he's leaving the country for treatment.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I can't say that I'm excited about a PS5 yet mostly because my PS4 just collects dust. Especially if they try to force VR because I have a headset that I haven't used in months. I don't get sick or anything but I haven't played or watched anything that I've ever wanted to go back to on a regular basis.

TV's Vast Wasteland
I'm surprised I haven't seen that "Interstellar" theory on the show. Or if they did then I either missed it or tuned it out.

What did you do today?
I had an easier time in boot camp because I already knew how to sew thanks to my grandma. I also had a minor freak out today because the menu bar on the browser on my phone some how relocated to the bottom of my screen and I hated that **** with an unreasonable passion.

I don't think voting record is the best measure as I wouldn't be surprised if most Senate Democrats matched up similarly. Also, while they were mostly in a general agreement on the issues they both had some (occasionally wildly) different views on the cause and how to tackle those issues. Besides that as others have said, they're all still politicians.

Music Listening & Sharing
I'm not really listening to anything but I can't get Craig Ferguson's Kenny G impression out of my head

Julian Castro is throwing his hat in the ring as well. Gabbard is the one that I most wanted to run this time around even though I think her being Hindu might hurt her some. I hope Sanders and especially Biden stay out of it. Also there may some Clinton loyalists who may still hold a grudge against Gabbard.

Cinéma vérité - and all other types
I guess the people (most all not just the more religious ones) I know are just more... I don't know what to call them that doesn't sound condescending and honestly think those trash tier movies are moving/motivational/I don't what That said, thanks for that movie list. Now maybe I can recommend some movies to them and maybe shift their perspectives.

TV's Vast Wasteland
I enjoyed the first episode but aliens and UFOs (and conspiracies involving them) have been a guilty pleasure of mine since I was a kid

Oh, it's an executive order. I think Trump already did an EO for the wall.

The Political Thread - Burlamaqui edition
I don't believe it has ever been used in the way that it is being suggested that Trump use it for I'm only able to find a list of active emergencies and none seem even remotely close

Cinéma vérité - and all other types
I fell asleep in that one I'm an atheist but I don't really have any strong feelings towards religion one way or the other because I think that anything that makes you a better person is a good thing. This occasionally leads to friends and family trying to enlighten me with a movie or something that I need to see. I don't seek out these movies but I've seen a lot of them. I lost a friend because I laughed too hard during God's Not Dead.

Forum edit function too... sensitive?
It's probably because I mostly post on this forum so that's what I'm most used to but it sounds like a pointless feature I do admire your persistence though. I've almost come around on supporting it just because of that.

I don't think I've ever seen a good Christian* movie. I realize I'm not the audience they are going for but the fact that they can't make a good coherent movie first makes me scratch my head. You've got black movies that tend to have a lot of religious stuff in them but they they also tend to bed below average and I think is more due to how religious black people are rather than them making a Christian story. *Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments I never really liked but I haven't seen them since I was a kid

What did you do today?
With the shutdown dragging on I've starting looking for a new job. I'm not a direct federal employee but I do contract work for the government. We've already had a few people leave and even some of the feds we work with have left or are openly looking. This puts house hunting on hold until things stabilize one way or the other.

TV's Vast Wasteland
I mostly agree with Hurlshot here. The problem I've been having with HBO (and most original content providers) is that I'm just not interested in what they've been putting out rather than it being an issue with quality. But maybe that's just my experience

Trek4 is supposedly cancelled and I'm actually kind of glad about it. I just wonder where that leaves the Tarantino Trek which I was actually looking forward to, though out of curiosity more than anything else.

What did you do today?
Thanks Grom, but it'll be my second home together with my wife and my third overall. We thought we'd only be in our first for about 5 years and now it's been nearly 9 years. Reason being is that we got this place for a song during the recession and it's so convenient to just about everything in Denver so we got comfortable with it. We've needed more space for a while though but until recently circumstances made it so it was just easier to stay put.

What game did you bought last?
Pre-ordered MechWarrior 5. Hope it doesn't suck.

Is the cost of fixing and maintaining the truck less than the cost of other moving options? If not then I think maybe option 2.
