  1. You probably had some magic reflect and reflected one of the Fampyr's gaze attack on themselves. So now each new gaze is triggering a new one in an endless loop.
  2. Some Totems reflect magic. Try hitting them with something obvious like a missile spell or necrotic lance and you will see it for yourself. Looks like this is the case here.
  3. I had this bug a couple of times but saving and restarting the game fixed it for me. Restarting didn't work for you?
  4. That's a different bug. The one described here makes the icons flicker even if you hold down tab.
  5. Just enjoy insane murderous Xoti and get her cured from her soul reaping addiction in the next game.
  6. You mean this bug? https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99562-area-transition-icons-flicker-and-are-weirdly-evasive/
  7. In my experience there is a very important dialogue choice when she does the ritual at the temple of Gaun. You HAVE to suggest that she should stop gathering souls (losing rep with her and any other that dislikes irresponsibility), otherwise the quest always ends with her absorbing the souls instead of releasing them. It is very easy to miss since it is not a mandatory dialogue branch.
  8. I noticed that this happens if you give Modwyr to a party member and that character is removed from the party for some reason, like going into the deck of your ship or by manually swapping them out.
  9. I noticed that the bug seems to hit when you load a save after or during a fight. Going back to the main menu before loading usually prevents this bug from happening. As for recovering your money, loading an earlier save is the only "fix" I know.
  10. Just finished the DLC and didn't spot any additional items with missing strings.
  11. Add me to this bug, but the game is crashing the AMD video driver. Sometimes it crashes as well, sometimes, if the driver recovers quickly enough from the crash, it continues to play without rendering the background. Mashing the quicksave button saved the game after the scene and before the fight and allowed me to continue. BTW, I went through this scene several times with the patch that was available when the DLC came out and never had any issues.
  12. Apparently it's the ghostheart ranger class that's causing this along with other, related bugs. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99562-area-transition-icons-flicker-and-are-weirdly-evasive/
  13. Twin Eels greatsword had missing strings. I haven't seen more yet but so far I only completed the Sunken Kingdom with that character. I will add a full list once I complete the DLC with that guy.
  14. This is also happening with some of the items from Beast of Winter as well.
  15. The only thing unique to the Ghostheart is the animal companion, so I would start by looking at that particular feature. The interesting thing is that in the previous patch I used a ghostheart ranger both as a hireling and as a main in different playthroughs and never had any problems, so this bug is something new to this patch.
  16. I had this exact bug and the quick FPS drop bug during the beta patch but I never figured out exactly what was the trigger. The really weird thing is that both went away on their own. Are any of you using a ghostheart ranger in your party? Because all these bugs went away the second I replaced mine (a hireling) with someone else. Edit: Just checked. Put her back into the main party, did a couple of fights and both the performance bug and the blinking area transitions came back after a couple of map changes.
  17. Link to requested files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ZWX8NRR7ZLPNfxjUWT_1cA_wV_u6aZ43 Reinstalled the beta patch and tested it again on a much later save and the whole thing happened again a few minutes into the game after the second boarding battle. Substantial FPS drop (60 to 40), movement and interface became jerky and laggy. Included the custom AI files in the 7zip in case that might be related. Also not sure if it is related but there are some strange things happening in those boarding battles. The per encounter abilities are not resetting after the battle is done, and going into another boarding battle without entering a "party" map before means that wizards, rogues and the like will be missing the encounter resources used in the previous battle. Also autopause is not working when the battle starts, but going into the ship's deck after the battle will autopause the game as if combat just started. I am mentioning this because the whole thing feels like some sort of resource ends up looping in the background after said boarding battles, consuming resources and slowing the whole thing down until the game is restarted.
  18. I tested this beta patch and had to roll back. The patch had a major performance degradation issue not present on the current stable patch. FPS would drop to single digits in less than half an hour of playing. A single ship boarding battle was enough to halve the FPS from 60 to 30 until the game was restarted. Continued play degraded it further. The whole interface became laggy as well, with periodic freezes and a noticeable delay in most UI functions. I hope this doesn't go live without further testing.
  19. I think I figured out the main condition for Emery to side with you. You need to be winning the battle, that means she will join you if you have two or more allies (plus the hired veterans) to throw at the enemy special groups before going into the last fight.
  20. Trust me, it works the same. I tried it yesterday...
  21. First you need to calm the wolf, that is what the resolve option does. Then you need someone to remove the arrow without killing the wolf. Not sure why they said Eder works, for me it was Sagani.
  22. Once you upgrade it the soulbound armor gets vigorous defense on hit, triggered immunity and a couple of extra abilities. It is certainly hard enough. http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Ryona%27s_Breastplate
  23. But if the game did follow up on her and considering what happens at the start of the game, it would show that her child is born hollowborn. She probably wouldn't get a happy ending without choosing the endgame option of returning the souls back to the hollowborn.
  24. Someone posted that you can get from the second part of White March as one of the options, but I solved this quest before that so I couldn't try it.
