It seems to be working fine for me. Try retraining her at the inn, they changed that power in 3.0 from x per rest to 1 per encounter. -

I thought that the lack of affliction immunities was a design goal or something like that? But after they added the damage immunities I guess it was to be expected. -

There is a bug with one of the new capes from the expansion that makes you permanently invisible if you get hit with a critical. -

They only work 1/rest now. Keep that in mind. -
Hah, google "new vegas save game won't load" and tell me that one wasn't common. Easiest workaround was to load a fresh save and then load the problem save from there. Worked 99% of the time. It was due to some "out of memory" error, fixing some numbers in the cfg file also solved it. As for the other issues you mentioned, they are all fixed by the script extender. That is my point, actually. They were never fixed, you have to rely on a fan made exe to get the game to work as it should. With the fan made script extender exe it is a perfectly stable game that never crashes, even in Win7 64 bits. And I had over 1000 hours of testing to back it up.

I still need to use a third party script extender exe, an anti crash plugin and an unofficial patch compilation before New Vegas will deign to load a 2 hour old save game (an UNMODDED save game at that). And it was released how long ago? Bugs are not exclusive to Obsidian but they sure have a reputation for being extra buggy. The fact that they keep introducing new bugs to POE with each patch isn't helping with my perception of them.

Description: Since updating to 2.02 newly created characters have a bugged inventory count while looking at the content of lootable containers. Instead of counting to 16 it counts to 18. Not sure if it is related but I am still getting the kickstarter items, despite being a normal GOG preorder. Save + output file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9jgMl5BnHvLWU9ZczVLZzRkVmM/view?usp=sharing To reproduce: loot the nearby container and look at the inventory spaces of the main character. The count is off by 2. In order to eliminate the possibility of some issue with my install I fully uninstalled the game, checked that all files and directories were indeed deleted and then proceeded to download it again with Galaxy. All 20 GB of it. Bug still happens with the new install. Edit: Disabling the preorder bonus from Galaxy also did nothing. I still get all 4 items and the count is off by 2. Edit2: Used Galaxy's roll back function to go back to 2.01. Bug is gone and bugged saves are loaded correctly. So whatever it is, it was assuredly added in 2.02.

GOG 2.02 became available 5 minutes ago. Also, now POE gets the option of turning on "Beta Channels" in Galaxy. It is currently off and grayed out but maybe? for the next beta patches?
