  1. same here. And here. Health-endurance split is imo easy to understand and pretty effective. I also liked the knockout injuries, but I suggest they remain optional as in POE1.
  2. I kinda liked the extra micro in this but I wouldn't be mad if they removed it
  3. What I'd like to see in POE2 is resting being almost exclusively done on the ship. Parties can carry a few camping supplies (say one or maybe two on POTD) for dungeons and other land exploring, but the rest of the time, you can only rest in inns or your ship. Also, when resting outside of an inn or your ship, you might be surprised by enemies. In POE, I felt that there was really no drawback to resting in dungeons, added to the fact that most of them had camping supplies laying around. Make it more of a strategic decision to rest...
  4. I really want to be part of this, unfortunately, I'm currently unemployed (career change) and I spent an unreasonable amount on the Fig campaign already (including the BIB badge). I'll try to throw a few dollars your way later. Best of luck in the meantime!!
  5. Seems like they want to maintain a good balance. If WM is any indication, I think they will do fine.
  6. I'm looking forward to all them... I think my favourites are in order (so far) : Ydwin (potentially), Maia Rua, Xoti and Serafen. I think Serafen is going to be real cool, but I wonder if he will have as much character depth as the others. I have no idea what to expect from Maia, so its interesting. Blue guy, well, since we don't know anything about him... Sidekicks seem ok and a bit quirky. That being said, I really hope Ydwin makes it as a full character.
  7. Some wrote about a pacifist weapon earlier in the thread (cant find who) and I think that is an amazing idea. Really strong souldbound weapon that gives you **** when you use it. Either that or talking firearm. In any case, I know Obsidian is going to do a great job with this. Brenecke just seemed way too excited about it
  8. And stole a bunch of cash before she left to buy fancy clothes, hence the rogue
  9. Spoiler: Fulvano is the final boss. He's sitting on a throne in the deepest room in a castle on the last island. When you reach him, he'll be like "Hahaha! You have done well to make it this far! But now I shall personally dispose of you!!" LOL. And he's given all his gear, so no loot. Best upset
  10. This makes me wonder : has it been confirmed that there will be a factionless (anarchy) path? Seems impossible there wouldn't be one
  11. The last two companions represent major factions, so they might be less edgy cool than Ydwin (who I think has potential to be awesome) but are still very necessary. I'm looking forward to their personalities and agendas as much as their relationships with other companions. Pallegina-Maia-Seraphen has potential to blow up big time. You just throw in Ydwin for ***** and giggles .... Ultimate party
  12. I really hope he goes **** it and goes north. Enough fooling around south Fulvano. Grab a pair and go north
  13. I agree there's good opportunity here to expand on the whole animancy concept and add more of it to the game. Ydwin (and an animancy skill, I expect) is a neat way to do that. That being said, I didn't mind how they treated animancy in POE. Yes, it was one-sided (negative) but it was a cool introduction of science in a fantasy setting. POE2 should be much more interesting though
  14. Are you serious? I played through the game like 5 times and never noticed this. Seriously, all true. EDIT: Same goes to the custom adventurers, they hang out in the barracks. Well goddamn... Never figured that out
  15. Funny you bring up Taboo, the recent lore update made me think exactly of that show. +1 to a male dwarf with a shady background looking to cash into the luminous adra rush...
  16. I personally prefer animist for priest-druid. Apart from that I like everyone's ideas, including of course the devs
  17. I also liked the split health\endurance mechanic in POE1. Same thing for the per rest\encounter distribution of abilities. Then again, I'm willing to let the devs try something new if they feel its better for the game. Josh's description of the pacing for resting (injuries vs empowerment of abilities) seems interesting, although more complicated than the previous one... In any case, I'm happy to see that he is open to changing it, depending on our feedback.
  18. I'm also very much down with this. Missed crowdfunding for POE, so I want to get involved more in POE2. Just to express my preferences of what has been said so far, I really like the idea of financing a ship (whether its one filled with lost souls or even a find the lost ship kinda quest). I also wanted to increase my pledge from the premium digital, but I dont really care for the physical rewards and the higher pledges are too expensive for me. A forum ship is perfect!
