McDonalds breakfast food is the only decent food there.

It might ruin the immersion factor to have KISS playing in a Star Wars cantina. And if Metal Gear Solid can have a skateboard mode, why not KOTOR?

::hands icebox a copy of Hardware Wars:: Hardware Wars was the very first Star Wars parody/fan-film. It was made in 1977 while Star Wars was still in the theatre, by Jeffery Foss of 20th Century Foss Productions. I think it had a budget of a couple hundred dollars. It really is priceless.

I may have to come into work Friday to handle a special project. So I may not be free until 6 or 7 pm central (GMT -6) this week. Most Fridays I am free all day.

I thought you could only persude the weak willed. That's why you had few opportunities to persuade. Then again, in KOTOR you could Force persuade a Hutt, and I thought Hutts and Toydarians were supposed to be immune to such things.

I think swoop racing will always have a "gang" feel, because some people equate it with illegal street racing in real life. And the environment can change with the planet. I think that's fine.

Half the levels of the game are vehicular combat. There are a few levels when you get to control a Jedi, but the plot of the game is Clone War combat in general.

Well, 4000 years can change swoops considerably. There can also be a difference between a swoop, and a swoop bike. There appears to be a difference between a speeder and a speeder bike.

T.V. is vastly overrated.

Linkin Park is a very talented band. I wouldn't call them innovative. In the 80's the Beastie Boys wanted to combine rap and rock. Aerosmith and Run DMC combined the two. And many artists since then have waded in those waters. Linkin Park is just good at it. It's like crediting Eminem for being innovative. He's not the first white rapper. He's just good at it, as opposed to many that came before him (Snow, Vanilla Ice, etc.)

The last Surgeon General (Stoops) was convinced that Saccarin was the devil, and worse than smoking. Very briefly we had warning labels fror saccarin, but it's hard to have a legible warning label on a packet of Sweet-N-Low.

They were going to do other stuff, but they settled on stuff instead. It was very controversial. Feargus almost spilled coffee over the affair!

Anakin built C3-PO from scrap parts. Some of those parts could have come from HK, but that would be so wrong.

I did the same thing. You get to hear the background, get all the XP, walk away with the Krayt Pearl, and kill all the sandpeople without any dark side points.

I'd love to see a flashback scene where Malak gets out of line, and Revan takes off his jaw with his saber to teach his apprentice a lesson.

There is TONS of content in the Hyperspace section. But that doesn't mean I'll pay for it. I'll wait until Episode 3 is released. Most of the good stuff will be included on the DVD in the long run. There are DVD's in the works for the Clone Wars cartoon. The Cartoon Network ran them once, and they may rerun them. And you can always use a peer-to-peer program... *whistles*

I don't think the announcement was meant to tie into Episode 3. Titles like Republic Commando and Battlefield do that. And there will be Episode 3 specific titles as well. Most companies don't officially announce a project into it's well into development, in case it gets cancelled. If you recall, BG3 and FO3 were never officially announced.

This is the problem I have. We have a new MC, and the plot should revolve around the MC in an RPG. If the story is largely dependent on NPCs that aren't in the party anymore, then they steal the thunder. People complained already that Bastilla stole the thunder in KOTOR:1. Let's not repeat that mistake.

Maybe Yoda believed it was for the best.

The character makes for a decent Sith Lord, but not the main villian. It's a decent concept, but lacks serious depth.
