  1. I don't want the apprentice to turn on your abritrarily. That should depend on how the relationship goes. I suppose I could by it a little if the apprentice was lured by a more powerful Sith and corrupted, but your choices in the game should have meaning.
  2. The alignment points weren't huge. By the time you got to Dantooine and got a few Force Powers, you could have your LS or DS meters well into your desired side to get the reduced cost powers.
  3. I have no problem with bounties being optional side-quests. If you don't want to take bounties, then don't.
  4. It may also depend if you're playing a Guardian character. My Guardian could slice through doors and locks in a few hits.
  5. Episode V had the best ending hands down. There were so many questions, and so many problems. But Luke and Leia look out hopefully despite the dark cloud cast out over them. Optimists and Pessimists both rejoiced.
  6. T3 - My ideal internet connection
  7. I tend to agree. And if the Jedi were stupid enough to create such an edict, they'd have to know it would blow up someday. If someone falls in love, which is natural, and they are forced to hide it, it only feeds anger and resentment. Then that Jedi is likely to fall.
  8. She was conniving, and tried to create a trap to sieze power. She sounded like exactly what the Sith Academy seeked to produce. Academies like that are stupid. We want to raise you to betray us, and then kill you for attempting to betray us. In the long run, we're stronger for it, rather than unifying in effort.
  9. The level cap is not necessarily indicative of game length. You can get tougher, or more lax on xp awards as you see fit.
  10. Bastilla wasn't perfect. She had her good moments, and her bad moments. I don't think she deserves the extreme favor or criticism she receives.
  11. Fan-fic writers handle characters that have died all the time. You just write fan-fic before their deaths. Or if you're really sick, you write slash about after they die.
  12. You always tip your server. And if you're a good human, you over-tip. The guy has to make a living somehow. Living in Irvine is expensive. That's why I moved.
  13. Hades, Do you seriously still have a Sega Master System? I have a lot of old consoles, but I don't have one of those. Some of them had built-in games on the motherboard, like this maze game.... Grr.. I'm nostalgic all of a sudden.
  14. I still believe however they handle it, it is in their best interest to cap off and finalize the stories of Revan and Bastilla and move on.
  15. FU is happy to fetch coffee for all, as that is his full time job. Or so I hear.
  16. Luke didn't have a whole lot of knowledge on Jedi History, nor a Jedi Master breathing down his neck. He got to reinvent the Jedi Order as he saw fit. And despite being a putz, he made a good call in allowed the Jedi Order to marry. He did it all for the nookie.
  17. First off, GTA:San Andreas isn't an RPG. You have the engine, and you have level design. That's about it. The game is a giant free-for-all. Missions are pretty simple. GTA is all about level-design, and that's what they excel in. KOTOR is a whole different beast. It has a complex rules system, force powers, in depth NPCs, etc. There is a lot more to the game than level design. You can't compare apples to oranges. Would I like bigger planets? Yes. Am I a little disappointed that this isn't more of a priority? Yes. Will I throw a big fit over it? No. Nor will I judge the game before it hits my hands.
  18. I think the Prequels suggest that love is actually forbidden. It's just a stupid idea.
  19. I think the Matrix was the lone saving grace of the Genesis verison. The rest of the RANDOMLY GENERATED fetch-and-kill quests were ridiculous and do not make an RPG in my book. The combat system in the SNES game wasn't great. However, every mission was part on one coherent plot as opposed to random level grinding. As far as creating a SNES-graphics RPG, there are lovely programs out there like RPGMaker2000, and RPGMaker2003 which allow you to easily create an RPG with SNES like graphics.
  20. I had to look it up. I wanted to spell it epitomy the first time around, but I wasn't entirely sure.
  21. I still use tonight and doughnut. I also use theatre as opposed to theater.
  22. Everyone loves an upset. The tournament was a footnote in American sports pages until Greece won the championship.
  23. Some of the Final Fantasy games didn't have you start out at first level, though most did. And those games operated on 99 levels usually.
  24. This is going to bug me. I thought both games let you pick faces, but that may have been with later patches, or the complete Ultima 7. I played the game when it first came out, but have played it countless times more since then on the complete CD. So, it may have changed. And it has to be atleast 3 for each gender. I recall a Male Black Avatar, a Male Bearded Redneck looking avatar, and possibly two others. A Blonde Avatar, and a White Male Avatar with Black Hair.
