  1. The ending was like getting to a book and finding the final ten pages missing. We know how the final battle went down. Where's the epilogue or denoucement? I felt jipped. MCA tells a better story though, and I expect more with KOTOR:TSL.
  2. Well, the demo (if there was one) could use the plot from the E3 demo. And I think I saw an Akari quote where he said it was completely up to LA.
  3. Right, or we could have another mini-game where the party enter this abosolutely huge labyrinth. It'd also be a top down view. They'd wander about collecting treasure of various sorts and grenades and medpacks. And you could shoot the grenades from afar causing them to explode and destroy various enemies. But you'd have to take care because you could also accidently shoot the medpacks, destroying them. Mira needs medpack, badly! Atton shot the medpack! Nooooo! We could call the maze, "The Laybyrinth" Except it would be "Red Scoundel needs medpack, badly!" "Do not shoot medpack!" I'm all for it. FrankK, make it so!
  4. I think Shadows of the Empire was one of the better Star Wars titles despite it being on the N64.
  5. As silly as that whole plot was, it was plot dependent. It wasn't something the Jedi did every day.
  6. I say come up with something new. Different is good.
  7. I think you're all missing the point of the original post. He wasn't asking for more light. He was asking for more contrast, and I tend to agree.
  8. Luke did all of that despite being a whiny chump. Wow.
  9. Or how about you have two apprentices (one of each gender if gender is so important) and the apprentice shifts classes and alignment at your instruction.
  10. I think having Heal made the Jedi far more powerful than Non-Jedi in and of itself. The rest was just gravy.
  11. Let's review the facts again. DVD drives ship in all new computers, and have for a good 2 years. DVD drives are $35. DVD drives have been around for 7 years. There are fewer DVD burners out there than CD burners, and CD copy-protection is a joke. I've never found a CD I couldn't burn. I highly recommend Alcohol 120% for the tough jobs. And I've said time and time again, it doesn't have to be one or the other. If you release on both formats everyone wins. The only reason to release on CD is to cater to the audience who refuses to wake up and smell modern technology. If you release on both formats, it might instigate change in the industry, which is needed. I remember when games had to release on Apple, C64 and IBM at the same time in a variety of media.
  12. George doesn't care too much for the EU. And LucasArts is a different arm of his empire. I doubt Lucas personally approves any of the games. I'm sure it's an employee of his in the LA wing.
  13. I maxed out the lightside meter fairly early on, and even got a few darkside points (Bendak and the Geohardan quests) and easily attoned for those. And the dark side is supposed to be quicker.
  14. On Taris you get to speak with a Sith about their job. They don't seem to like it too much. They are seen as the heavy, and don't really get to let their hair down. I doubt partying was the recruiting tool the Sith used.
  15. Some people are just mean. What did Bastilla ever do to you, besides acting like a total pompous ****?
  16. I doubt the CSA would exist at this timeline, but I would like to see it integrated into a game none-the-less.
  17. Is Force Massage the Jedi "private time" power? I'm just wondering.
  18. There are free Ultima Online servers (Ultima Legacy being the best) if you're curious in trying them out. Ultima Online was the first, and not necessarily the best, but many people still love it. It's quite time intensive.
  19. I'll still take the SNES Shadowrun over the Sega one, despite the Sega one having a better rules implementation. The SNES one simply was more fun. From a gameplay standpoint, you got to play both a Shaman and a Decker at the same time, despite it being against the rules. Magic and Cyberware should not mix.
  20. I'd like to see a good droid character again. T3 was worthless. HK was fun. I'd like to see a neurotic droid.
  21. Fair enough. I was just tossing the info out there. Since X-Box charges for X-Box live, many people assume there is a monthly fee to play PS2 online.
  22. Since T3's coming back, I'm wondering if HK will have been reprogramed if we're seeing him again.
  23. It has a lot to do with the setting, and can provide speculation for what's to come in KOTOR: The Sith Lords.
  24. I've got a question. Many people have said that it's confirmed that HK is returning. I've seen a few articles that say someone who looks a lot like HK is returning. Can someone point me to a direct quote that HK himself is returning?
  25. The only MMORPG that charges on the PS2 is Final Fantasy XI that I know of. However, other than that, gaming online with the PS2 is free.
