  1. Revan's story can continue (or finalize) without Revan appearing directly. We could learn of Revan's death.
  2. I think most people prefer having more options and control, but it's not huge for me. Ultima 7 let you pick from like 5 male avatars, and 5 female avatars. But it was still a great game.
  3. We also got to infer his dialogue through people like Luke. And R2 was a droid of action. While C3P0 got his eye ripped out by Crumb, R2 saved the day.
  4. People will complain no matter what. I'm just glad she's been improved. I don't know if it was just an early model, or if they cleaned it up due to the number of complaints. Personally, I would release a screenshot of a close-up on a half-finished model, but that's just me.
  5. I think he was funny, but he wasn't as deep as other characters. I prefer depth over a running-gag character. And can you milk a running-gag over sequels?
  6. How can she be a joinable NPC when she's dead? And since there is a chance she died, I wouldn't include her. The same with Bastilla. Besides, I think there are too many characters returning from KOTOR as is.
  7. I almost always cued actions since otherwise it would default to standard attacks.
  8. "No disintegrations." Damn, there went the paper-towel clean-up!
  9. Either was is fine with me. I think multiple laps on a track would be better because there is no room for error in a 20 second race. More importantly, I'd like to race against someone on the track rather than racing against a clock. Even if it was only 1-on-1 heats, it would be a vast improvement.
  10. If only T3 and HK's programming were switched around. That could be pretty humorous.
  11. R2D2 only communicated in beeps, but had character.
  12. I said Saul's second in command, and I was suggesting this for KOTOR's ending. It doesn't really change any of the story, it just continues it briefly. I think extending the ending a little would have helped greatly.
  13. I've never bashed Carth's character. At least he had dialogue and a story. Did T3 ever say anything? Seriously.
  14. T3 never spoke or did anything. He's a toaster in my book.
  15. Sorry I've been so busy. As an unexpected twist, my best friend in the world just showed up on my doorstep unexpectedly over the this past week and asked me to run a PnP game for her. She just moved back from Puerto Rico. I am still going to try and run this game for you-guys. I'd like to start this Friday by meeting for a chat, finishing up character creation and maybe running prologue scenes. If everyone's characters are finished, we could also start the campaign. I'm going to hunt down good RPG chat programs or sites. Suggestions are welcome.
  16. Workin' on it. John, Any chance we might be able to have more control over setting default commands, or strategies for our NPCs?
  17. That would be a nice twist since dueling isn't very Jedi-like.
  18. Imagine this. The Sith Fleet is fractured, and flees when they see the mighty Star Forge destroyed. They had no leader, nor plans. Yet the Republic fleet was decimated, with many of the Jedi dying either aboard those ships, or dying aboard the Star Forge. Many planets still have Sith governments, and the Sith have more ships. The Republic won this battle, but face the thread of further Sith expansion regardless, and now very few Jedi survived to aid in the coming battles. Saul's second in command assumes control of the Sith fleet and orders the fleet to move in on Coruscant, and then the credits roll.
  19. In the early stages of the game, there weren't any great blasters. And when you got really powerful blasters, the Jedi had Force Powers. Thusly, I don't think Carth was all that powerful. Immobilizing enemies is like having a bunch of extra attacks. It's very powerful. And the ability to heal yourself repeatedly is also a huge boost. The other characters often were more skill oriented, but skills were pretty useless.
  20. John, thanks for all the answers! And I never once ran into "I have nothing to say." Maybe it's because I did all the sidequests on every planet, and had tons of experience.
  21. Tone aside, the game needed an ending. It didn't really have one.
  22. I wouldn't mind seeing Force Jump combined with feats. If I cued up a regular attack, and then a flurry, I wouldn't Force Jump. I had to cue up three regular attacks to Force Jump, so I never really used Force Jump. I liked to stick with flurries.
  23. Zaalbar came with a custom Bowcaster, but I always thought he was more Melee oriented.
  24. Perhaps meditation could be tied into the "Farseeing" visions. The first time I played KOTOR, and I saw my characters head tossing, I didn't realize it meant I was sleeping and dreaming. It took a few instances of that cinematic for me to see the pillow, and put it together.
  25. I could be down for a few more bounties. I didn't play DS, but I thought there was only like 8 bounties. (5 on Taris and 3 Geohardan bounties). Was I mistaken?
