  1. I the definition of the Princess has become more and more of a sidekick. We see Padme pick up a Blaster and start shooting. No doubt more anyone would do as such to defend themselves given the circumstances, but she seemed quite adept at handling that blaster.
  2. That's closer, but still not perfect. Brutus was a loyal Roman who both really loved Caesar and Rome. He did what he felt was best for both. If Brutus did not stab Caesar, he would be killed by others. And Rome needed a stronger ruler. I think Brutus is one of the best tragic heroes in classic literature.
  3. I never used it, nor bought it. It seems insanely stupid to me, as you use the saber defensively. You can use tk, and keep the saber in your hand.
  4. It was give and take. She was locked away in a detention cell awaiting execution, and then she saved Han from a similiar fate.
  5. Telekinesis has a lot of potential. I don't think KOTOR utilizes physics though.
  6. Macbeth is a pawn. He is easily led bo betrayal by his wife. He doesn't make decisions for himself. Othello and Julius Ceasar are much better plays.
  7. I don't see why games don't make more use out of telekinesis.
  8. I want nothing to do with the BioBoards, nor have I stood behind the actions of other people. All I'm saying, is that posting 3 times in a row and saying nothing constitutes excessive spamming.
  9. I'm definately down with this guy. Jedi But then again, why keep using the same races over and over again for Jedi? Yoda was a great idea, because it went away from what everyone expected Jedi to be like after seeing Vader and Obi-Wan.
  10. Nor the Spanish Inquisition, but that doesn't make it a great character choice.
  11. I'm hoping the Jedi Weaponmaster doesn't get a saber-axe or anything like that.
  12. I say, make it a 10 NPC love-fest, droids included. In all actuality, we don't know much of anything about the NPCs yet. I want to be surprised by the interactions I discover along with way. I'm content to wait until the game is in my hands.
  13. Bokishi, you made 3 posts in a row and added nothing to the conversation. I haven't seen you make a post on this forum that added anything to serious on-topic conversation. The few times you've been on-topic, it has been to ask a question already asked many a times. You repeat yourself, and spam. I can handle forums drifting off topic. Lord knows I'm guilty. I can handle occassional spam as well. But you have added nothing that I've seen since you've joined. When you spam, you're taking time away from everyone's lives. When you post three times in a row, and say nothing, you've crossed the line. Hell, not even Darque does that.
  14. The people who complained about the turret mini-game complained about how it repeated itself, how boring it was, and how it was near impossible to lose. I don't anyone ever complained that it was too difficult. If you're going to integrate the Ebon Hawk, then do it right or don't do it at all.
  15. I think the "pricess" is more of a generic term for the plot role many women fit into. However, over the past decade we've seen fewer women that need rescuing, and more strong female characters.
  16. I'm worried that they are going to throw in some insane exotic lightsaber.
  17. In FFX, you fight for a romatic interest. That's always a good plan. I played a new game with a female character in KOTOR, and so far the relationship with Carth is a joke.
  18. I hadn't read the article yet. Thanks for the quote. It sounds like a good article. I think it's funny how Liberals mention that Clinton was grilled over a blow-job and say that Bush should be impeached for his actions. Well, the Kenneth Star report claimed to have boatloads of evidence linking the Clintons to every crime on the books. Given the accounting of Clinton in Primary Colors, and what people close to him usually said, I often wondered about him. I think people don't realize that when Congress was grilling him, they weren't bringing out the heavy charges. Perjury was a means of waving their finger at him rather than throwing the book at him. Bush however, is being subjected to a witch-hunt in the 9/11 hearings, and they haven't found anything on him.
  19. 60 hours of non-side quest action would lead to an 80-100 hour game. It's hard to keep interest in a game that long unless it's really good.
  20. I wonder if they'll reprint some of the comics and graphic novels with KOTOR's popularity.
  21. Hoth was chosen for a Rebel Base because it was desolate and unsettled. I imagine that would be case 4,000 years before the rebels got there as well.
  22. I followed the production Obi-Wan. It looked really good. Then at the last moment they moved it to X-Box, and used very poor voice-actors. I was pretty disappointed. The selection of Force Powers is fairly decent though.
