For every four points a damage roll beats a soak roll, a wound is applied. Wounded. You had a -1D penalty to all skill and attribute rolls until you are healed. A wounded character who's wounded a second time is wounded twice. Wounded Twice. A character who's wounded twice falls prone and can take no actions for the rest of the round. The character suffers a penalty of -2D to all skill and attribute rolls until he is healed. A wounded twice character who is wounded again is incapacitated. Mortally Wounded. A character making a Moderate first aid total can "stabilize" a mortally wounded character. The charac is still mortally wounded but will survive is a medpac or bacta tank is used on him within one hour (Moderate first aid total); otherwise, he dies. Stun Damage. Weapons set for stun roll damage normally, but treat any result more serious than "stunned" as "unconscious for 2D minutes." You can get four wounds in four seperate rounds, or all in one round if the damage roll is high enough. By the way, I found that West End Games still has a website. They came out of bankruptcy apparently, though they don't carry Star Wars stuff anymore. However, they have stuff on their website explaining D6 Classic, which is basically the ruleset. http://www.westendgames.com/html/d6sospar.html

It could also have to do with the fact that the Galaxy Droid was quickly discovered, and the PC version came out much later.

I'm fully aware of how much oil this country has. I think most other people forget it, and constantly talk about how the US needs the mideast for oil. We choose to use foreign oil rather than risk polluting the environment by drilling for it in large quanities ourself. And I've been up and down the Californian coast, and to Texas. I've never once seen tar on the beach. Alaska had a pretty big oil spill, but I've never been up there. And to think Russia gave up on Alaska as a colony.

I never once on this entire forum claimed American won WWII. You keep putting those words into my mouth. I have claimed several times that the US bailed out France. And I can say that pretty safely because France says we bailed them out, despite not liking the US these days. They recently held another ceremony commemorating how their country was saved by US Marines. The 2nd division of the USMC wears a special cord to this day, given to them by the French. You keep going off on a few words, and exploding into anti-American crap. If you read the thread, someone else claimed the entire war was one front. I merely said the war was far more than one front. Both of you also seem to believe the entirely of the war involved Germany, and discount Japan's role. Apparently their island hopping never happened. Asian affairs apparently don't count in European's views of world history, or atleast in your history books.

You seriously need to stop watching the Fox News.. You know, the same channel that broadcasted pictures of cheering Iraqis just after 9/11..? Those pictures were later discovered as taken years before, related to something entirely different. I wouldn't watch Fox News if I was paid to. I've seen countless sources everyday of Iraqis glad the Americans are there on MSNBC, BBC and CNN.

All dice in this game are 6 sided dice. So 4d means you get to roll 4d6 when ever you roll that attribute or skill. A saber does 5d of damage base. So, you roll 5d and get 18, let's say. There are no hitpoints. You roll your strength rating to resist damage. (You can augment the roll with character points if need be, but you lose the character points).

Argh. On one hand I don't really want to be drug back into this, but to answer your question, I do believe their are their own country. Congress has no desire to nation build or repeat past mistakes. And the world is looking over Bush's shoulder like never before. We hand our hand in many regime changes in the past. However, that didn't mean they were puppet governments like everyone made them out to be. History has shown those governments had their own agenda, and did what suited them.

That's what I thought, but I hadn't read Golden Age.

Poll: Odds of Bastila coming back
EnderAndrew replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think Jolee and Juhani could also be considered favorites. Personally, I'd have to go with Bastilla and HK-47. I can't believe T3 gets a spot though. -
Yeppers. You'll notice that certain powers list a Control diff, and then a Sense diff. Some powers like Lightsaber Combat (it's been a few years, but i think...) have a Moderate and a Moderate diff. That's simple. Other powers may have a Very Easy diff on one roll, and Difficult on the other.

Perhaps the new characters will be so much more captivating that we won't care as much if Bastilla is reduced to a minor role at best. -
Au contraire Ender. I think Hades takes jokes pretty well... Perhaps that is why I rib him so. You don't see me rib everyone on the board like that.

Maybe this child will bring balance to the Force.

Is that the first released one, or the first chronologically?

And for the most part they don't work. But since seperate is not equal, we've failed. They are seperate in how they are treated. We need to address that specifically to bring them more to an equal setting.

Would a Sith Lord root for a team called the Angels?

Thank you, thank you. If only more Americans thought his way. If someone told me they saw how Kerry would improve this country, I would whole-heartedly support them voting for Kerry. As it is, he's running on the "I'm not Bush" ticket. That's weak. Oh, and he promised to fix health care, but didn't say how. Hasn't every President promised to fix Health Care and done practicly nothing? Well, Bush did lower the cost of prescription drugs for senior citizens and go after insurance companies. But that;s baby steps.

Look. I'm done. Reasonable people follow logic and facts. Unreasonable people throw around empty rhetoric that supposedly justifies what they already believe. I'll gladly stand behind everything I've said here. I think a lot of people have made a better case for me, arguing against me than I could have ever tried. They may not see it, but they have.

Have you seen all the video footage of people in Iraq welcoming soldiers with open arms? Did you see Iraq soldiers surrendering to American newscrews going "I love America"? Didn't you see the Iraqi people celebrating in the streets? The car-bombers and suicide bombers are small minority of extreme-fundementalist terrorists that existed before we went into Iraq. Many of these people aren't even Iraqi citizens. We've come across Iranian, Syrian and Aghani terrorists in Iraq. And many of these people are the Saddam loyalists who tortured, starved, and killed their own people. They know retribution is coming soon from the Iraqi government. Bush hasn't killed millions of people. The casualities in this war are miniscule compared to historical warfare. Go check your facts. And in case you missed it, we handed the country over all ready. I guess you must not read the news.

Also consider this. You want to affect a battle with a few hundred troops from a distance. Before I even modify difficulties for proximity/distance, you have to roll a 20 on Control, 20 on Sense, and 20 on Alter. (Since I'm so generous on skills, I use the high end of the difficulties. Difficult is listed as 16-20. I usually use 20). You'll likely need 7D in Control, 7D in Sense, and 7D in Alter. Force Powers raise slowly. That's a fairly powerful Jedi. And very few people know the power.
-
Battle Meditation takes five minutes to use. If the Jedi is anywhere near the front lines, the Jedi will be killed while trying to use the power. It's useful in really large scale conflicts that take a long time to resolve. How many casualities can the enemy inflict in five minutes before the power goes off? All difficulties for Force Powers can be modified by proximity. If you're 1,000 kilometers away from your target, it's pretty hard to effect them. The power was a KOTOR era power that was lost in the modern era. And the Sith had advantages themselves that the Jedi don't have.

Hades can't take a joke. By the way, this milk sure tastes good.

Many schools don't have full days on reservations, and operate in buildings that are near condemned. They lack budget for decent textbooks, and only 10 years ago they were still using manual labor of school-children during the day to help fund education on reservations. In the long run, eliminate all special treatment for all groups. That's how you get equality. But occassionally you need band-aids to get there first.

But people claim that Bush deliberately lied. That implies that Bush knew there were no WMD. And frankly, we still don't know how many weapons existed. In fact, all evidence suggests that the WMD did exist and have moved. We know Saddam had WMD programs because he used them on his own people. If I find a dead body with a bullet hole, am I to believe that a murder weapon exists even if I don't find it? Well, we found training labs, and containers for WMD. Surely, the WMD never existed. Except we did find some sarin gas. So they did exist. We just didn't find a motherlode. Since we did find proof of WMD, it certainly wasn't a lie. And I saw the speech Bush gave. He said our justification was two-fold. First, the UN already passed a resolution saying Iraq had to comply immediately or else. And the UN did pass a resolution authorizing military action in the past. Military action was ceased on the basis that Iraq complied. Failure to comply negated the ceasement of military action. Secondly, Iraq had 25 million people being held hostage. Liberating 25 million lives has to be worth something, right? God! People act like WWII never happened. America got blasted for turning a blind eye to the world. When we do step in, we get blasted for it.
