Actually I think SWAT counts as a spin-off series. The genre was a bit different, and gameplay greatly changed. Where as First Blood/Rambo movies are direct sequels, and the same with Dark Forces/Jedi Knight.

Canada also likes to somewhat falsely take credit for Superman. A Canadian was one of the first artists to draw Superman, while we was working in the states. But he didn't create the character.

Space Battle is a must. I was disappointed they didn't really find a way to incorporate the space battle into KOTOR:1 or 2.

Except so many Star Wars games reuse the same planets. I'm getting bored of them. I enjoyed the new scenery in KOTOR:2.

Oddly enough, without the makeup and the like, I never would have pictured Jackman as Wolverine. And Jackman had never read any of the comics, but I think Jackman nailed Wolvie.
