That's true. I can see a gradual fall simply from using whatever power was available to you. Atris is a pain, and the Jedi didn't treat you too well. There is no reason to adhere to their strict dogma.

The PS2 has a good variety of strategy titles as well. It plays PS1 classic like Final Fantasy Tactics, Orge Tactics, etc, and PS2 titles like Disgea, Phantom Brave, Gladius, etc.

I remember back in the 80's people said Tom Cruise was a horrid actor because of the types of movies he did, and that he would never do a good movie. People said that Tom Hanks would never be able to do a serious role. People said the same thing about Robin Williams. I think Vin Diesel might make a really good movie someday. Boiler Room was pretty decent, and I've heard pretty good things about his performance in a A Man Apart. However, I skip most of the Vin Dielsel movies, not because of Vin Diesel, but because they look like bad movies.

I think any video game movie screams straight to video. Like comic book movies back in the day, Hollywood won't treat them seriously, and won't allow the directors to handle them properly. Anyone remember the old Fantastic Four movie, the old Captain American movie, the old Punisher movie, etc. etc. Only now Hollywood will hire a proper geek and allow them control to do a comic book movie justice. M$ is demanding tight control over a Halo movie, and that may be the first video game movie to be done right. I know Doom is already headed for disaster, and I don't trust Bloodrayne will be much better.

Vin has one of the better voices out there. He doesn't emote much, and he doesn't have to. His voice screams bad-ass.

Ninja Gaiden is a game tough enough you won't beat it in a few days. Jade Empire has some replay value, and Halo 2 shines best in online and co-op play. That's not a game you rent.

I still have my install CD for Might and Magic VI, but I lost my Play CD. It's one of the few titles in the series I didn't beat. And I do regret paying $20 for IX. The series never evolved. Early titles were complex for their time, and good fun. But they never seemed to grow with the genre or industry.

I've never played Heroes of Might and Magic. Some of the other spin-offs were horrible.

Blasphemy! Heroes of Might & Magic 4 ranks up there with Master of Orion 3 in sheer belovedness of sequels... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Police Academy 7.

You're dead on. People often misuse the term anime. Add to that I see atleast a good 5 distinct styles within manga and anime.

I doubt God can be proved by any means ever. You believe in God, or you don't. And much the same, you believe in science or you don't. I know we are taught by society to accept science today, much in the same way society taught all to believe in God before-hand. I wonder how many people today know about such things as Dark Matter, and how our accepted principles of gravity don't really work. It might change their perspective on science. I try to balance a belief in both with healthy does of pragmaticism.

I liked the conclave where we ordered pizza and had a LAN party. Seriously, I'm curious what happens when you've killed all the Jedi before the conclave. I don't play DS.

Who is paying for Obsidian's time to make those three patches? Last time I checked, Obsidian is now working on Atari's dime.

I don't need sexual innuendo from the game. I would prefer a few more "Star Wars" lines. They did include someone saying, "I've got a bad feeling about this."

I'm sure the fine folks from Holowan labs, or any modders who tinker with the game files could find out such things.

Here is the sad but true fact. LucasArts will either fork over cash for a patch, or they won't. I'm betting they won't. Star Wars: Battlefront became the best selling Star Wars title of all time. Don't ask me how. But Battlefront 2 is their new baby. I doubt they even remember KOTOR.

We played an "Avatar" game using the White Wolf rules a while back. The group created characters for everyone using consensus to assign ourselves stats. We created ourselves as the normal mortals we are, and the storyteller enacted upon us events that thrust us into origin stories of our now fictional lives as supernatural creatures in the aforementioned World of Darkness. The storyteller had me embraced as a Malkavian, and I wasn't entirely happy about the affair. However, all and all, it was a unique role-playing experience.
