What are your Ability Scores?

The only charity that Bill Gates has ever donated to is building further Microsoft customers. He has to have some small charity for tax purposes, and it consists of offering Microsoft products to schools for free, or at reduced prices. That's it. Rockefeller built schools and musuems across the country. Gates could be fueling the economy by reinvesting that money into building up areas, that in turn will puchase from Microsoft again. But he won't. -
I don't worry too much as I rarely give out my gmail address, and gmail has a really good spam filter, but I made the change none the less.

You won't see me pirating Halo 2. But I have a hefty collection of classic RPGs and the like that you can't find anywhere.

Did you know that George Bush was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for his actions in Liberia? I kid you not. Also, soccer was nominated for a Nobel Peace prize. Apparently those people have never seen soccer fans riot and kill people in the stand, or kill teams because they lost. I want to nominate claymore mines for a Nobel Peace prize. Hear me out. By maiming people, and not killing them, they are saving those soldiers lives that would be lost on the battlefield. Futhermore it stops those soldiers from killing others, and it removes even more soliders from the battlefield who must carry away the injured troops. Claymore mines have saved more lives than Superman!

Character Look-a-likes

I don't think that Nick fellow looks anything like Atton. Atton has lighter skin, lighter hair, and a softer face. I think the Dr. Chase from House/Disciple comparison is a bit funny. -
Because real friends don't let friends drink and derive.

That's precisely why I don't feel bad collecting them all for software preservation.

Sadly, I think the Big Bang, Dark Matter, and a variety of widely-accepted physics theories are very weak indeed. They are stop-gaps for the questions science really can't begin to answer.

I think the hands are fine due to the perspective. -
A Mind Forever Voyaging is one of the best Infocom titles of all time. http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/amfv.html Infocom never released these titles in the public domain, and abandonware is not fully legal, otherwise I would direct you to a copy of the game.

Without spoiling things for people who don't want to be totally spoiled, some of the mutants have disappeared for no reason, while they cram in several new ones while not giving them time to be a worthwhile character in the movie. Add to that 4 mutants will be no more after this film. 4 major driving characters that appeared in the first two movies are being taken out. Two of them at once in a brief moment. And the major plot is a lame rehash of X-Men 2. Add to that Wolvie doesn't get any moments, and becomes a lap-dog. And instead of the director of Apt Pupil and the Usual Suspects, we get the director of Rush Hour.

I did read the article. I haven't gone beyond calc, but I have worked with matrices enough to understand the difference between an integral calcuation, and a matrical calculation. The article said that Aleph 0, or Aleph Nul was the smallest complete set. Aleph 0 repesents the countability of natural numbers. Infinity is beyond simple natural numbers. Cantor also showed that not all real numbers are countably infinite. So is Aleph 0 the cardinality of natural numbers, and Aleph 1 in this case real numbers, and Aleph 2 also includes imaginary numbers? Infinity to the power of infinity would be Aleph infinity. You're taking an infinite set of all numbers, to an exponentional power of infinity. The set has to be larger than any other set, and uncountably infinite. It would be Aleph infinity.

I think the Sentinel does really well early on, as Treat Injury, Repair, Security, Awareness and Persuasion all get plenty of use. In the later stages of the game, all the skills are useful in making upgrades, which in turn make you fairly powerful. However I went Sentinel/Weapon Master. By the time I was ready for a Prestige Class, I didn't need as many skill points anymore.

Did anyone really expect to see bright yellow spandex on film? I think Singer nailed the themes and character concepts, even if he did shift the mythos. Comic authors do it themselves when the reinvent stories every new generation. Clark Kent's father died early on, and in the current Superman mythos, Clark Kent's father lived to a ripe old age. Currently Marvel is reinventing all their franchises again with the Ultimate line. I think Singer really nailed the important things, such as the themes of discrimination. Was the yellow spandex what really made the X-Men? People who can't see the forest for the trees aren't really fans anyway.

Sadly, he is opposed to taking a job outside of Omaha, and there are no jobs here for people with a Masters in Math and Physics. So he teaches at a community college for a pitance and rents a room from me. What little money he makes he usually gives out to his friends. He has no real desire for wealth either. -

White Wolf has recently thrown their entire universe aside, destroyed it with an apocalypse, and started anew. I haven't read over the new World of Darkness as much, though I keep hearing the rules are even more streamlined and balanced. I do believe the new system keeps the nature/demeanor and morality paths. www.white-wolf.com They may have quick-start rules, demos and the like there. Or just go to a Barnes and Noble and crack open a book.

In 2nd Edition, so long as you have the time, Wizards can make scrolls all day long. There was a failure percentage in creating the scroll, but 90% of the time he could make one. On an off day, he might make 8 scrolls or however it worked out. We only played one session before the DM gave up if I recall. I hardly get to play as a player. I'm always running games for people. I merely twinked to point out my objections to the cumbersome and broken system. I have nothing against high fantasy. Earthdawn does it better, Gurps does it fairly well, and I think Exalted does it quite well. I just don't really care for D&D rules.

Considering that X-Men has had a steady fanbase for over 30 years, I'd say millions and millions of people.

The scene with Visas I got on the Ebon Hawk, but I was able to trigger it as often as I liked on the Ravager as well, to an extent. All the same dialogue was there if I talked with Visas on the Ravager. She would then say we should look at each other, but then I didn't get the brief scene of us actually meditating like I got on the Ebon Hawk.

Heck, I kept Bao-Dur unarmed, even when he was a Jedi. With his personal feats, and the Unarmed Specialists feats, he did more damage unarmed than with a lightsaber. I imagine the Exile could do fairly well unarmed as well.

I've met and trained with Marines from South Korea. ROK Marines they are called. My buddy was shopping MMOs for a while, and his interest in Lineage and Lineage 2 was the intense PvP action. I tend to follow NC Soft titles more because I like them as a company. Personally, I'm interested in Tabula Rasa if and when it launches.

Well, there was an article about it. Maybe I can Google it. I remember people talking about how Sony was cribbing off the Riddler from Batman Forever.

He's not asking how many skill points you get to distribute amongst your skills, but rather the number of ranks you can have. At level 1, a class skill as a maximum of 4, and a cross-class skill has a maximum of 2. With each increase in level, class skills can go up 1, and cross-class skills go up 1 per 2 levels. Thusly, at level 27, a class skill has a maximum of 30 ranks before bonuses.
