  1. My life is sleeping and intermittantly attending lectures. So, basically I've got no time to spare anyway, lol, so I'm fine with Friday. Besides, my days pass quickly.
  2. I must object. It's clearly shown that Aleema Keto and Ulic Qel Droma made room for some nookie time in TotJ. :"> But we all know that TotJ and SW are like apples and oranges... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Surely you mean birds and bees?
  3. I think it needs a new engine, not that there's especially anything wrong with the current one, but if its getting slammed now, it'll get slammed even worse in a few years' time. Not one that strays too far from the Odessey tho, for continuity's sake. Am I being picky? :">
  4. To be fair you can control the PC verion with the two buttons on your mouse and the space bar (or whatever you use to pause it- which theoretically could be the 3rd mouse button), but I guess each to his/her own. P.S. has anyone else looked at the relpies on the LA forums?
  5. No, Revan was 3012, healthy living you know...
  6. Exactly, why split the game between Bioware and Obsidian, when it could be given to Obsidian alone?
  7. Ok, but why would PC testing make them bring out the Xbox version sooner? Surely they would set everything back, if they did anything at all? P.S. I'm not being pedantic or anything, I just genuinely don't get it. :">
  8. The thing with the losing money through people studying idea, is that it (and I don't mean to be rude) has holes... lots of kids have PCs (my brother is sat behind me right now, playing the PC version of KOTOR I). Also, they brought out the PC version of the first game at Xmas- so why use different logic this time round, considering it sold so well? I bought it on 5th December last year (day of UK release), despite having a ton of courseworlk to do... I had to get an extension :"> . But despite that mistake, and being at Uni now (thus having exams in January to revise for) I would still buy it if it were to come out before Xmas. Lastly, by releasing it in February, they might well be losing out thru ppl being at school/ uni, and having work to do for a couple of days time, as opposed to being on holiday. Plz don't flame me if that didn't make any sense economically- I've never really studied it, so if anyone wants to correct me, do it nicely plz (unlike on the LA forums, where they crucify you for even thinking sumthing that is against what they think)
  9. Are they blue and faded, or in glorious technicolour?
  10. Only if you live outside the US- its the US Xbox version only which came out on the 6th
  11. Judging by what happened with the US Xbox, I don't think the Devs have much control over when it was released. Anyways, its bound to be less buggy than KOTOR I was on release, because they'll probably incorporate the 3 patches for that into the sequel.
  12. "some exclusive PC content that will not be initially available in the Xbox version"... that's what I like to read :D If the pc version is to be more polished, patched and have new content.. and if they would put some other extras in the box aswell.. anything.. could be a galaxy map, wallpapers, posters, figurines, a detailed game guide or a developper's journal (containing censored ideas of quest and dialogues they had in mind) or better: the dev's constructionset to help us modding the game... Kotor 2 PC later relase would definately be forgiven . Anyways there are just too much game releases for chrismas (chrismas is way overrated as a release date) and very often it is in spring and summer that I miss good pc games the most . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Could just be a misinformed statement, but I thought it was worth putting on here, and its unusual (in my experience) for PC Gamer to print something unless they're fairly sure its true. At the end of the day I don't care that much about extra content, so long as I feel I've gotten value for my
  13. Anyone read this KOTOR PC preview from the PC Gamer magazine website; http://www.pcgamer.com/eyeonline/eyeonline_2004-10-18.html There's an interesting bit at the bottom (even if it is dated a couple a months ago )
  14. Cheers m'dear! Clearly the Pink Side is not the quickest path.... lol
  15. I wonder if George W. Bush
  16. I think the lack of feats is supposed to be made up by increased conversation and stealth options- so instead of fighting you can talk your way out of it by being the loveable rogue I am, or sneak around enemies, and luring them into traps.
  17. I think that's the first review I've read that looked at TSL as a standalone game, as opposed to one that had to be compared to KOTOR at every turn like some kind of expansion pack, and also looked at the positives of the game, rather than focussing on the (few) negatives... most impressive.
  18. I think they're the online branch of EGM magazine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yer, they are... they gave it a glittering preview around the time that it was announced as well, lol. I'm not gonna take any review seriousely until PC Gamer (who are gods) do one- coz quite frankly it seems to me that a few of these internet reviewers aren't interested in the game at all and are a bit miffed at having to play that instead of Half Life 2 or sumthing. No pride in their work.
  19. Yer, my Radeon IGP (which Kotor I doesn't support/ has 'issues' with) runs the game without crashing or anything- and not many games I have do that on an unsupported Gfx card. Its such veeeeeeeeeeery slow.... nothing that more RAM won't fix
  20. It says on Amazon.co.uk that they'll have the X$ux version by 11th February, and seeing as how the PC game is supposed to be released the same time as the International X$ux....
  21. Can't find if Chris said it (did you say it, Chris- or was I only dreming <sighs> story of my life, lol), but Akari said this; Akari Oct 29 2004, 05:29 PM Post #19 Darth Taylor Posts: 417 QUOTE(Meshugger @ Oct 29 2004, 05:18 PM) So i guess that you can't have all three in your party at the same time, due to your alignment? That's correct. You can't have all three of those characters at the same time. -Akari on the 'visas marr, "handmaiden" and disciple?, who are they?' thread on the General discussion board
