FONV. Picked up a few old games over the holidays(Thief 1,2 and PST: EE) and the single new game purchase since 2015 in Cuphead. Yet I'm just hitting up New Vegas. It just hits that spot of substance with slight personality, not too much to be in your face and tiresome. Perfect game, glitches and all. Am looking forward to checking out Cuphead though, art style and music is right up my alley.

Pretty much just playing Burial at Sea DLC to take screenshots since I haven't felt up to much anything else and that's all the game is good for anyway.

Project Indiana Job Ads - from multiplatform to console?
Blodhemn replied to Infinitron's topic in Obsidian General
My feeling is that it's a spiritual successor to an Arcanum or Arcanum/Fallout hybrid. Pretty sure it's been mentioned to be a new IP. -
I'm probably more native than she is, doesn't that mean I have the right to think it mildly amusing that her exploits come back to bite her? Trump is a loon, and so is she. Any backlash is deserving for both.
-
Warren is still pretending to be native? If she gets joked on for the rest of her life it is completely deserving and 100% her fault.

a dead persons money volo. They’re dead. They don’t care. What makes your existence more important? You'll be joining soon enough. Maybe they "suffered" more in earning those millions than you ever will. Never ceases to amaze how righteous people become when it comes to someone else's money. My existence would be more important simply because I have one while they don’t anymore. Again, they’re dead. It's a very self centered point of view which pretty much kills the altruistic nature of it from the start, never mind the logistics and morality.

State capitalist* Which is more or less what all systems come down to along a spectrum. The pyramid of power and influence isn't going to change much. It's easy to be a romantic cynic, which is a very 60's French thing to do.
-
Communist pyramid wouldn't look much different - just more poor, less rich, with the we fool you and rule you sectors combined.

Obsidian teasing about a new project on Twitter
Blodhemn replied to Flouride's topic in Obsidian General
Yeah, that's how I took it. As pointed out, both he and Boyarsky didn't seem to enjoy their head positions at Troika. Now they're back to the positions that got them into the industry in the first place. -
RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - 'NON-FAKE-NEWS EDITION'
Blodhemn replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
Forty hours isn't even a grind in that type game, unless Battlefront(haven't played) is that much different to Battlefield. Unlocking better equipment in Battlefield was part of the fun. The loot box thing is getting beyond defensible at this point though. Makes me feel kind of lame for buying any semi recent DICE/EA product. BF4 was the last, and there won't be a next. -
I have to fall to the side of not being a fan of the AC/SD push button for multiple action combat. It's basically a beefed up version of Jade Empire, and just feels like some place holder combat. It's pretty dated, like first gen mo-cap era gaming.

Obsidian teasing about a new project on Twitter

Eh, they've done plenty of those already and currently. Time for something else for people not so much into isometric wizards. -
Was the main story any better than Stick of Truth? That was the only thing I didn't really care for in that one, but maybe that's just me not caring for South Park story telling past the initial few seasons. Doubt I'll pick up the sequel any time soon or at all assuming SOT is the better game.

Because it is a balance issue, a ridiculous one, but it's not much different for the player on the losing end than it's been for some time. Even more incentive to shoot up the guy with the fancy gear maybe, but those games always have insane levelers instantly so how would you even know the difference? The ones that paid are easier to kill?

He did like his guns though!

TR was a man of his time, like a lot of historical figures. He had views that today would certainly be considered racist in a patronizing way. That we think differently now says something about us, not him. $20 says whoever did it thought he was a civil war general and had no clue who he was. http://nypost.com/2017/10/26/teddy-roosevelt-statue-doused-in-red-paint/ Wouldn't think you'd be much of a fan of Teddy since he wanted government oversight in pretty much everything.

I might try Deadly Premonition but I was previously put off with how buggy the PC port is apparently. The soundtrack also seems to full of decent quality Japanese video game themes.
-
Yeah, have to hand it to Levine on that one. Pretty balanced as far as extremes go, and it simply makes for a good backdrop to the setting. That's pretty much the only reason why I liked Bioshock - atmosphere/setting/music/voice acting. The gameplay itself is junk. And with the voiced protagonist/Elizabeth even the voice acting took a hit in Infinite. Fairly grating at times. The first two are a less in your face and more fun because of it.
-
It's not like multiplayer games never had balance issues before. It just feels dirtier when money is involved?
-
Lol.. I remember that. Spoken with lisp and all. I guess he figured it to be revolutionary design in nerd fantasy but maybe someone broke it to him that it's been done before. And yeah, the inclusion of Elizabeth ruined part of Infinite and it's DLC. An annoying, emotional, screamy girl having to tag along and be rescued the entire game. Another great design choice.

Trump is maybe the first president in history to be a true figurehead of the people. So fitting in a modern age where pettiness has run amok.

Bouncing between Fallout Tactics and yet another game of New Vegas. Obsidian makes it hard for me to care about buying any new games. What's the point? Enjoy merely walking around in NV more than playing the fully realized gameplay of practically anything else since. New Vegas during the day/Bloodlines at night. Don't need anything else, other than a new Cain/Boyarsky game...

This clearly means that Trump collaborated with Russian to hack US elections and took bribes from Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and so on. As everything is true what people are accused of even if investigation/probe of subject is still going or just starting It means that the Dems are completely innocent and are beacons of truth and most importantly never a source of hypocrisy.
