Portraits IV
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
There are some nice Godlike portraits done by Elizaveta Shchepina here. Edit: the link will give larger pictures. -
Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
InsaneCommander replied to no1fanboy's topic in Computer and Console
I checked the game for a few minutes. Created a character really fast but I could see a lot of information there. A few hours to spend in character creation. Again. I didn't realize how much I missed D&D! -

I'll do these as well. Tomorrow or on the weekend. -

That is one of my favorite things when exploring. -
That is correct. Pretty funny movie. Or at least that is how I saw it when I was a teenager.

Some "achievements" are pretty easy to get. Hire an adventurer, craft 5 scrolls. You can do that at any moment, in a couple of minutes. At the same time you don't get achievements for completing the game without anyone being knocked out or finishing the game killing less than X creatures. These are among the ones in PoE1. That said, BBs are not necessarily cheating. For example: you can start with more money to hire a full custom party quickly. You can increase your skills and stats for a solo pt (it would still be more difficult than playing with a full party and no BBs). And the explored map is more like a visual option than anything affecting the difficulty.

Last I checked, I can get almost everything I want. But if the new achievements for the DLC give 12-15 points that would be most welcomed. He said it feels like cheating, not that it is cheating. Anyway, I've seen this happen before. Someone makes a mod and people call it cheating. And then the developers change the game to be just like the mod.

We don't see all of the Archipelago in the game (Naasitaq is further south from the map, for example). So it is possible there are other groups that include different races. If you are not an Aumaua but come from the Deadfire, just assume you lived in another area or visited Neketaka once. You'll even know their language.

God Challenges Feedback!
InsaneCommander replied to Aarik D's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Announcements & News
Make it so playing with mods and /or BB disable achievements. I don't care about that counter unless I can get all of them. And I may actually try to do that since there is a guide to play the game without fighting and -

I haven't checked the game yet, but I'll probably play as a wizard or sorcerer. Are there any nice robes for them? -

Out of curiosity, can you just add portraits like in Pillars of Eternity? I think there are three sizes. Do you know their sizes? I'm already checking my portrait gallery for anything that looks well for a King. -
Flawless code? That depends on whether quantum mechanics and relativity are intentional. They both are and they're not, that's the beauty of it. Well, at least for quantum mechanics, it is and it is not at the same time.

I never saw one. Unless you count non-aumauas that live in Neketaka. But I never saw anyone referring to them as Huana. My character is an elf from the Deadfire and sometimes people notice that. They never called me "Huana", but Queen Onekaza, for example, refers to me as a "countryman" or "one of our people":
