  1. Preordered the special edition today. Bring on October!
  2. Don't forget such wonderful peaceful gems like 'Because we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.' Yeah, poor old Al-Qaida was just pushed and pushed 'till it had to act. John Bolton on Obama's The State Department & Rauf: The State Department has no responsibility to send fruitcakes around as if they are representatives of America," says former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, who told Fox News that Imam Rauf should be dumped from the trip and that the State Department should investigate how he was included in the first place. "Many of his statements support terrorism in effect. He has blamed terrorism on frustration and said it causes people to 'conflagrate,' a new word that he has apparently invented. That is the classic justification for radical terrorism. It is unacceptable to the overwhelming majority of American people and really civilized people around the world."
  3. He hasn't done himself any favors by choosing a radical anti-american church (Jeremiah GOD DAMN AMERICA Wright) before dumping the church. Then he supports/doesn't speak out agains the ground-zero mosque funded by a cleric who says America was responsible for 9-11. Honestly, at the end of the day I don't think Obama is religious at all. He worships whatever is convenient to his agenda and his real religion is big government. Whatever gets the people stirred up to vote this piece of garbage out of office is fine with me. This WWII vet pretty much sums up how many Americans are starting to feel about Obama. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=945_1271287772
  4. Bah, you guys missed out on a great story. Me, I couldn't put it down until the end. I did have that burn out problem with San Andreas (eventually finished it though). GTA IV has those wonderful taxi cabs that teleport you to missions.
  5. I can see where you are coming from with a lot of the open world games, but GTA IV & Red Dead Redemption are some of the best games I've ever played. I'm planning on playing Red Dead a third time as a bad guy and I'm addicted to the multiplayer. I just love how these sandbox games can take you back to a different time or place. After trying the Mafia 2 demo I don't think it is nearly as tight as Rockstar's open world games, but it just blows me away driving down the road looking at the old cars listening to 'Why do fools fall in love?' on the radio.
  6. Even more so than the recent Rambo? I don't think that is possible...
  7. My jaw dropped when it did the camera sounds. This HAS to be some sort of practial joke by David Attenborough. Well... I guess it isn't a joke! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyre_bird Also... some video that was edited out of the show.
  8. When I was working on SoZ I always thought of it as a spiritual successor to the Gold Box games. I had the pleasure of playing the entire Pool series (even Hilsfar & the horrible Myth Drannor one) before playing SoZ so I can absolutely see where Obs was going with it. I loved it myself, especially the music... makes me think of old black and white swashbucklers and grand adventures.
  9. I head up to Phoenix every Saturday and there is a radio station that has comedy breaks. 'Elvis Duran & the morning show' I believe it is called. Every so often they do these phone pranks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sOh7geRszs...feature=related
  10. Id Tech 5 engine no longer up for external licensing Damn jealous Bethesda/Zenimax dooming us to many more years of UE3. Maybe someone should buy them out As a big fan of id & their engines I'm very disapointed. That said, its not like there were a lot of licensees for their last engine. The only game not co/developed by id was Prey.
  11. GTA IV Glitches, Bloopers & Silly Stuff #9. Unbelievable!
  12. Finally saw Avatar. Movie is pretty much like the Final Fantasy movie, only reason to watch it is the SFX. I took solace during the ending that the mercs would probably come back and nuke the damn planet and all the stupid furries living on it.
  13. . She might be worth the trouble... WARNING LANGUAGE!
  14. "Michael Caine stated in an interview that during filming he thought the little yellow spots left by the bees on his clothing was honey so he began to eat it, unaware he was eating bee poop."
  15. I normally don't post here but I had a crazy day. After/during a 13 hour work day. -A driver RIGHT in front of me had their tire explode on the highway peppering my car with rubber. No damage to vehicle or people luckily. I see shredded tire all the time on the highway, but that was the first time I had seen it actually happen first hand. -I heard one of those Lewis Black: If it weren't for my horse discussions while waiting in line at Best Buy. Guy: "Think there will be landmines?" Woman: "There are only landmines at Christmas." I so wanted to turn around and ask what they were talking about. Instead it will eat at me for the rest of my life. I'm just going to assume they were talking about a video game or something. -I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It was insane, bright and vibrant sunlight on one side like it was broad daylight, dark thunder clouds on the other side. -A massive ugly black beetle with huge antenae was sitting on my porch when I got home. Is that bad luck? -The neighbor got sick and asked me to watch her dog for a day or two. All in all a good day.
  16. New Vegas tops IGN's list of most wanted game of 2010. "Fallout New Vegas is more Fallout. That's awesome and all you really need to know." I agree.
  17. yeah, except they want to much for the DLCs. Activision wants too much for MW2 DLC. Reading the list of content added to each pack I'm comfortable paying 10 bucks for each. I have a feeling the free roam pack is going to be free (har har), as all of the additions it seem to be patch type stuff. Leaderboards, anti-griefing, adding enemies to certain areas etc... nothing major.
  18. You can thank the year long delay after the game was FINISHED for killing any future adventure pack series. Part of the reason I'm not too happy about publishers recently. They seem to be doing their best to hurt gaming.
  19. Its actually a bucktooth red eyed cyclops you know.
  20. Red Dead Redemption is going to have... Zombies!? About 4 new DLC packs are coming to the game adding new characters, weapons, animals, the ability to play poker & liar's dice online (awesome!), horse racing and new single player missions/encounters and... zombies. Yeah... I'd say they're the new game craze.
  21. Planning on doing that myself in excited prep for New Vegas. I'm going to go one step further and play them in chronological order, including Brotherhood of Steel. I'm going to force myself to finally finish Tactics. I've tried the game about 3-4 times now and I just get tired of it and quit eventually. Its not a bad game... F1 & 2 would be so much better with the Tactics combat improvements... I just dislike how little dialogue and roleplaying are in the game.
  22. In other words, let us unzip our flies and urinate in the faces of our foes.
