A simple solution would be to make the game set a bit later than KotOR II, like 100 years. Make the main PC a random dude who has to deal with the repurcussions of the actions of the exile and Revan. Thus you learn what they did, what happened to them, and how it affected the universe. Oh, and the PC should have to be a padawan on some big assignment from the jedi council with the choice to go ls or ds later on, otherwise there would be no point in callin the game Knights of.....

When it comes to the game, who honestly gives a flying **** ?!?!? It's a damn game, set in a different universe; go out, you'll find that very few women fall into the stereotypical stamps given within this thread.... No, it wouldn't be hard, but I wouldn't be surprised if they can't say anything due to contracts. There's no way any publisher would allow a developer to blame them for a failed/incomplete game without legal retaliation.

Hmm, I'm not that well versed with business and management, but wasn't the last time companies never laid off workers in the Soviet Union, and other similar communist states? All that resulted in was disguised unemployment. As for larger companies having social responsibilities, well, they do already, in a manner of speaking. They have unions to worry about and laws to abide, but to have a responsibility to their workers that involves a garuanteed job for a period of time up to the workers? That eventually leads to inefficiency as technology progresses. Sometimes the only way to keep a company going is layoffs. Sure, it isn't that nice to the workers, but keeping them would in some cases bring the company to bankruptcy which would then, usually, make some form of negative impact on the economy. The question is, will the company be able to get back on its feet if it lays off workers or if it doesn't? If it does, then you have short period of negative impact on economy, followed by an upswing when the company gets going again. If it doesn't, well, recession. Now, if the company hadn't laid off its workers, I'm not sure about this, but I'm guessing that the economy would experience a greater negative impact until things get straightened out. If things don't get straightened out, recession. As for mass layoffs to increase revenues when the company isn't at an economic crisis, I don't know of any such scenarios. If there are any, tell about em, could be good fuel for the discussion!

Speaking of animations, I mentioned this in the petition as well: Considering that the sound files are there, isn't there a possibility that the animations are there as well? If that's the case, then what's needed is a change in the "whatever its called that tells the game what to do/play" (scripting?). That'd be alot easier than doing these animations from scratch.

Hmm, I haven't had any major problems after I got the 5.12 driver. I've got some 9600 chipset card I think, with 256 ram. Anyway, some glitches, like the camera being in someone's head, or just crappy framerates...

As for the Finnish, I dunno bout the military situation over there right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if a war between Finland and Sweden would end up in a walkover (for Sweden, though it hasn't always been that way (sigh)....). As for the language, Finnish is the only other scandinavian language I'd actually like to learn properly, since norwegian and danish isn't that hard to understand. This thread is at the same time kind of disturbing but also amusing. People come here and express their personal preference in how a game should be run, and then proceed to attack other people's opinions. This is then followed by a bunch of "logical" and "realistic" arguments to back up why their opinion is better. It's like they can't understand or respect other people's personal preference. At the same time, using logical arguments to strengthen an argument based purely on personal preference lacks logic completely. Of course, I won't deny that it's fun sometimes, but it seems like some people here take it a bit too far...

Make it so cyou can get to becom a junkie or an alchoholic, given that your not a jedi, which is a must! But seriously, make the story waay later, and have the main character be on a "quest" or something to try and deal with whatever problems that have arised because of revan+exile, so basically you choose what each of em were and did in the past and then find out more and more of what happened as the story progresses.. whatever, just some drunk but consistent thoughts... P.S. I don't think the PC should be some sort of hero or special when the game begins, but to evolve into one towards the end...
