  1. I finally completed Kingmaker after about 130 hours, its one of the best party based RPG I have ever played and its now in my Top 10 RPG of all time I have mentioned in previous posts what I loved about this game but I will summarize it combat is the best part of the game. There are dozens of different strategies and ways to win battles deep character customization and how you can develop a party engaging main narrative, lots of twists and turns and exciting developments lots of choices around how the narrative develops and how your choices influence certain outcomes great party and companion side quests and how you can engage and build your companion loyalty I ended up defeating Nyrissa on my third try. It was easier than I thought. She has high AC and lots of spells dont work against her so I did the following spread my party around so her AOE spells only hurt one or 2 people lots of buffs and healing was used during the battle I used Kalikkes earth burst ability on 4-5 level burn and that did loads of damage to Nyrissa because it doesn't require a hit She was wounded badly and she had to use Heal constantly until she ran out of Heal spells. Also by having to Heal all the time she was limited around offensive spells usage My fighters and Ekun did some minor damage to her but they mostly missed And then I used spells like Greater Shout which did hurt her But it was Kalikkes kinetics that did the most damage to Nyrissa, she was my trump card And the final ending for me worked out well. I let Nyrissa apologize but I gave the Crown to Shyka the Many so she died at the end. Im was happy with that because of all death and carnage she inflicted on various worlds But excellent experience and I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys party based RPG with a complex but worthwhile ruleset Now Im going to play Wrath, I download it last night. Im in the mood for more Pathfinder

  2. That's basically my whole lesson plan for the year. The whole communist battle cry sure is retro. 'Murica! Honestly though, there just seems to be this fear of tolerance, equity, and accountability. Those are the main things I teach in Social Science. The current administration is currently waging war on that stuff, but they are also dismantling the federal infrastructure required to actually implement this stuff. So whatever, lucky to teach in the Peoples Republic of California.

  4. Wait what? ROFL! Sorry, there has been a misunderstanding, most likely because I worded it stupidly: I meant: whether the character kills an ally (Berserker killing skeletons with Carnage, Skald/Druid killing skeletons with Wicked Briars) or an enemy, certain effects are triggered. I didn't mean that your allies who kill enemies (for you) will trigger those effects. Sorry @thelee!

  5. Currently it's generating revenue - https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/trump-floats-reopening-alcatraz-heres-how-much-revenue-notorious-prison-generates $60MM isn't much, but Musk reaches climax over saving amounts in that range. And it was shut down as an active prison for being cost ineffective so...

  6. I think MK are far more newcomer friendly. From what I played of FF beta it seemed less forgiving than SF6 is, and in that game I also had to get my face smashed a lot before I started putting up the fight (and that's after 80h long World Tour tutorial). Inspired by your stick modding I decided to do some of my own. I have been recommended to install stronger spring and larger actuator, so I ordered some options and will see how it will go. Frankly, more tactile feedback and less movement might just what I need. Or maybe not we will see. I also ordered a bat top as I had to pay for shipping anyway, but I am quite happy with the ball top at the moment.

  7. Hi, I've missed many messages but you can have a BW in a whole party even if as Boeroer said other classes achieve the damage dealer role better (rogue, monk etc.). My consideration is mostly because in a party I like to play with different classes thus 2 paladins is a little boring, but a BW full equipped and well builded can deal good damage. For the druid and wizard, you can take them late game, in the last levels they are very powerful and a lot of fun! Druid build is quite "easy", pick Relentless Storm, Heart of the Storm, Wildstrike Shock and its upgrade, Outlander's Frenzy, Apprentice's Sneak Attack, Two Weapon Style and other spells you like. For mastery a good choose is Nature's Mark, Taste of the Hunt, Returning Storm and Moonwell (or Form of the Delemgan). Cast Nature's mark, the 4th level bonus spell, Rentless Storm (or Returning storm for easier encounter), spiritishift and start to kill enemies When spiritshift is over, you can use Gyrd Háewanes Sténes to regain spiritshift or you can cast AoE damage spells and/or utility/healing spells. Equip with Wildstrike Belt please! After Caed Nua, when you arrive in Defiance Bay, the game is easier also for mid level caster, so don't worry and hang in there!

  8. The ones I’m aiming for called mb-800 and mb-820 (yes, a slightly specialised subset). I had the predecessors 20 years ago when mcp was still a thing

  9. I never finished FF8... but more so because it felt like this game just didn't end. And every chapter started the same way, with one character being in a coma. But thinking about it now, I believe that I never fully understood the combat either. For example I had no idea how to fire the gunblade. And I probably never ever used a single limit break.

  10. I guess people who are already predisposed towards being deranged found a tool to accelerate the process?

  11. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/ai-spiritual-delusions-destroying-human-relationships-1235330175/ "Titled “Chatgpt induced psychosis,” the original post came from a 27-year-old teacher who explained that her partner was convinced that the popular OpenAI model “gives him the answers to the universe.” Having read his chat logs, she only found that the AI was “talking to him as if he is the next messiah.” The replies to her story were full of similar anecdotes about loved ones suddenly falling down rabbit holes of spiritual mania, supernatural delusion, and arcane prophecy — all of it fueled by AI. Some came to believe they had been chosen for a sacred mission of revelation, others that they had conjured true sentience from the software. "

  12. Yes, limit break is necessary at that point. Enemies get so much hp, if you are capped at 9999, you'll die of old age before the fight ends. The story path is probably still ez, dunno (didn't progress much there since). But everything related to side content has sharply increased in difficulty.

  13. y'know how many times am having made same point to gd regarding his need to find false equivalency 'tween trump and other administrations... and that were pre trump 2.0. ... and am gonna admit am extreme disappointed not just in gd but in most americans insofar as cecot is concerned. if cecot were in the US, could trump send people there indefinite w/o a full criminal trial? hell no, and am suspecting even gd recognizes such. am not sure how trump has managed to dr. mesmer so many into thinking the fundamental question is about whether or not the people being sent to el salvador is tren de aragua. w/o due process necessary to prove andry hernandez romero and neri jose alvarado borges is tren de aragua, it were wrong to deport 'em... but they weren't just deported for chrissakes. 5th and 6th Amendments guarantee the right to a criminal jury trial if the government is gonna punish, and is no way gd or anybody else is gonna reasonable argue that being held indefinite in cecot ain't a punishment. what is happening is not just deportations. maybe it comes as a surprise to some, but when the government goes before judges they is not trying to legitimize cecot by claiming those being sent to el salvador is gang members. the government has not offered ANY proof in court that those sent to cecot is gang members; is trump, jd vance, and marco rubio who keep bringing up gang membership when talking to the press. according to the government, invoke the AEA means trump don't need to prove gang membership. now bring up burisma or some other whatabout nonsense? the thing is, there is a dozen or so trump 2.0 issues that got us near as angry as cecot. am ashamed that the freaking oval office meeting with zelensky probable doesn't make our top ten, and most of the tariff stuff, while it is the kinda thing which is most likely to anger americans, bothers us less than the blatant authoritarianism o' many other actions... tariffs is another situation where the real problem is Congress being cowardly and unwilling to stop clear Presidential overreach. regardless, gd and his false equivalency fantasies is at least a decade old. am not sure how he convinces himself that trump 2.0 is no worse than biden, but am not at all surprised. as should be obvious by now, and contrary to @Lexx fever dreams, am having for a long time been warning that institutional limits on trump are not genuine obstacles. is nothing too illegal or improbable when speaking o' trump. as such am not surprised by trump, save insofar as the recognition too many americans are ok with any trump excess. trump may be corrupt. he may be a criminal. he may have tried to overturn the 2020 election. but maybe he can get trans people outta sports and perhaps he can lower the cost of eggs, so am willing to ignore the bad stuff. serious? HA! Good Fun!

  14. Ah, I wouldn't say that I played the game wrong. It's just that the parrying mechanic is extremely important and up until the very late game you can easily ignore it. Technically I can still mostly ignore it and just dodge, but then a majority of the late game fights will become extremely tedious and long. You need to parry to break enemies faster and deal extra damage.

  18. The funny thing is, that for me, I have much easier to perform under pressure the Ignition, Redline or Hidden Gears than DPs I have checked today my online performance, and my winrate is currently at 16%. I feel so weak compared to MK11, where I almost never get under 50% winrate

  19. In PoE all per-rest casters also have at least one thing they can do per encounter: Priest gets Holy Radiance (which is very good when paired with Inspiring Radiance) and can also pick Interdiction (whichalso can get boosted furhter with talents), Wizards get Arcane Assault 2 times per encounter and Druids get Spiritshift (which is extremely good when build for, especially when used with the Wildstrike Belt). So those three "per rest" casters are not useless in easier fights even if you want to spare per-rest spells as much as possible. Priests can even be brought up to Fighter's weapon prowess with the fitting talent (for example Durance can be pretty good with an arquebus). Once they get spell mastery (a select tier 1, 2, 3 and 4 spell per encountner on top of their usual per-rest spells) they even outshine most other classes even in those "easy" mob fights. In addition to that you can also pick a cross-class talent such as Aspirant's Mark - which also are 1/encounter. And you can also pick talents that grant bonus per-rest spell uses. Priest (1) and Wizards (2) can also get rings which give multiple bonus per-rest spell uses. After some levels there's no shortage of spells uses at all imo. If I had to pick between Wizard or Druid I would pick Druid I think - but both are great.

  20. Ok, my small Balance Polishing Mod for Pillars of Eternity 1 has just been published on Nexus : Small Balance Polishing Mod at Pillars of Eternity Nexus - Mods and community Be aware this is still initial realease. Any feedback would be appreciated. It is way less ambitious than PoE2 BPM (modding PoE1 is much more difficult), but it should at least "fix" Rogues, racials and provide a bit more variety for semi-optimal party compositions.

  21. Especially with people like this guy in the administration. Apparently they might make him Nat Sec Advisor ? Might be interesting to Hurlshot, who undoubtedly peddles in woke globo-homosexual Neo-Leninist/Marxist indoctrination
