I am playing as a male nature godlike druid rn because the just look so much cooler than the female counterparts. they have cool looking beards and big branchy horns and females just look so plain in comparison with some weak silly horns even tho the portraits have flowers and long ears and stuff maybe someone could mod this pls? ik the game is a bit old now but I am playing rn and maybe some of you amazing modder frriends could do a girl a solid pls? maybe adding some color options for more fun color combos for RP and builds alike? Btw justice for male moon godlikes too cuz females bodies look so much cooler as well. oh well. thanks. love the game!1 point

Kana can be very impactful before lvl 9 if you know how to use the White Worms invocation to maximum effect: if you have gib effects (exploding corpses from crit-kills) turned off and fight enemies who leave corpses (basically any enemy except spirits and oozes) you can use chokepoints and pile up corpses there, luring enemies of a map there over and over again and cast White Worms in that pile of corpses while enemies approach. You can reuse those corpses over and over again. They only disappear if you have to reload the map. This can make Raedric's Castle so much easier to conquer and to get all the loot from all the enemies.1 point

It took me long time to get really comfortable with a stick. Missing inputs under pressure never really stopped for me - I still fumble something every once in a while, especially panicked DPs.1 point

Ah sorry didn't read that in time. It's easy: just pick Wildstrike and Greater Wildstrike and Weapon Focus Peasant as well as Two Weapon Style and equip the Wildstrike Belt. Attributes can be balanced, you don't need to min-max for weapon dmaage. The natural weapons' base damage scale in base damage AND quality, making them very powerful in any case. You are now an excellent melee damage dealer and can still cast great spells. If you want you can also pick one of the elemental boost talents (Scion of Flame etc.) - preferably the element you picked for Wildstrike and which you use often with your spells - for me that's shock most of times. So Heart of the Storm in that case. It boosts your spell damage but also the lashes your melee attacks gain while shifted (including the bonus lash from the Wikdstrike Belt). Hiravias is a great Druid, you could simply copy his attributes and pick cat form and you'd be all set. I also made a more sturdy variant with the boar form here: Just for inspiration...1 point

Inspiring Radiance (Priest talent for Holy Radiances) is a very impactful +10 accuracy boost because it stacks with everything, is a fast cast and achievable early. So well done. Also: Survival at 4 (or even 8 if you can manage early) and picking the according acc bonus against enemies ahead when resting. Stacks with everything as well. That's great for all debuffing and damaging spells and of course weapon attacks, too. Then pick a fitting Weapon Focus as early as possible and use a single one handed weapon if you still have problems (+12 accuracy is a HUGE bonus early in the game - later not so much). Then look at the enemies' defenses: if they have high Fortitude then don't use debuffs/disables that roll against fortitude much for example. In general use debuffs that target low defenses in order to bring down defenses even further. You can use Knockdown against low fortitude enemies with high deflection for example. Those are often spirits. Prone targets suffer deflection penalties. Use flanking, too. Having said that: lvl 3 in the Temple of Eothas is too early. The first floor is doable, but the underlying ones are way too hard then.1 point

A miracle has happened. I have won my first 10 online battles in Fatal Fury for a trophy I still sucks at arcade stick, but changing Balltop to Battop on the lever made the controls a little bit more comfortable to use for me Still missing some inputs, but hopefully, I will get there one day1 point

I didn't test that but I'm 99.9% sure that the time of death counts (and whether you are carrying Blightheart at that moment or not) and not the time of casting. So I guess it will work like that.1 point

Sound great, is the overall Danish experience better than what you were expecting considering how many other countries you have lived in? What specific Microsoft training and new certifications are you doing? I wrote M365 Fundamentals 2 months ago, its an excellent and required foundation exam for cross-skilling or working with M365 and then you select further exams to specialize. I am going to study Pureview which is the Compliance and Governance service that M365 provides Im want to get back into Microsoft from a consultancy perspective1 point

Moved the conversation out of the politics thread... (shameless moderator power trip) It feels "odd" visiting Denmark. And I call it visiting, because I don't really feel "Danish" anymore. Nor do I feel Australian for that matter. I guess I have a bit of an identity crisis, not really feeling like I'm anything anymore Visiting my dad and my brothers has been nice though. Spent a bit of time helping one of the replacing the roof on part of his house. It's been a long time since I climbed around like a monkey on top of a building with a battery powered buzz saw, cutting timber I still don't have a Danish drivers license, but at least I got the equivalent of a social security number (called CPR number in Denmark), got the NemID ("Easy ID") which is a very clever system used to authenticate yourself everywhere. Council website logins, Visa/Mastercard transaction approval, Internet Banking authentication, you name it. Also got my medical insurance sorted out (so I'm covered by public healthcare). Even got an official address and a bank account, which you can't get without an confirmed address in the government database (folkeregisteret). Getting a monthly salary, paying my taxes, freezing my butt off, feeling very miserable at times because of the local climate When it gets a bit warmer, the plan is to visit some of the places I used to hang out as a young man, like the town where my old highschool is (much of the town center is from 1300-1500 hundreds). Then having some Belgian waffles, ice cream and walk around on ancient cobblestones. Meanwhile, working for a Danish IT company as a consultant, spent a lot of time in training sessions, learning new stuff and hopefully add some Microsoft Certifications to my portfolio over the summer.1 point

I wasn't adressed, but yes, Bleak Walker's damage output isn't great besides the 2 FoD strikes - and later once Sacred Immolation is accessible. In general a Paladin's potential for weapon damage is weak compared not only to a Rogue or Ranger but also to a Spiritshift Druid (which do incredible melee damage while shifted AND can cast great spells on top of that).1 point

In PoE all per-rest casters also have at least one thing they can do per encounter: Priest gets Holy Radiance (which is very good when paired with Inspiring Radiance) and can also pick Interdiction (whichalso can get boosted furhter with talents), Wizards get Arcane Assault 2 times per encounter and Druids get Spiritshift (which is extremely good when build for, especially when used with the Wildstrike Belt). So those three "per rest" casters are not useless in easier fights even if you want to spare per-rest spells as much as possible. Priests can even be brought up to Fighter's weapon prowess with the fitting talent (for example Durance can be pretty good with an arquebus). Once they get spell mastery (a select tier 1, 2, 3 and 4 spell per encountner on top of their usual per-rest spells) they even outshine most other classes even in those "easy" mob fights. In addition to that you can also pick a cross-class talent such as Aspirant's Mark - which also are 1/encounter. And you can also pick talents that grant bonus per-rest spell uses. Priest (1) and Wizards (2) can also get rings which give multiple bonus per-rest spell uses. After some levels there's no shortage of spells uses at all imo. If I had to pick between Wizard or Druid I would pick Druid I think - but both are great.1 point

Oh, yeah, I didn't mean it was something like bullet-point dialogue tree rpg's like BG or something. More like some of the jrpg's. Big emphasis on story/plot/dialogues and characters but not full blown multiple choice/consequence ala D&D or something. I was picturing maybe FF/Tales of Arise type story telling. I mean, I've grown tired of even simplistic action-rpg's like Diablo's, Path of Exile, Borderlands. And I don't think I ever really liked/cared about mega consequences, although two or three simple ending paths are nice. Since I'm more of a do it all in one (maybe two, with the 1st run being the learning run) mega-hours-single run type, too many choices for me = analysis paralysis and/or "none of these choices are what I want to do/I feel restricted" and I either never choose anything (eg never finish the main plot), or I quit. Hence my general favoritism towards sandboxes or RTS/sim over the years.1 point

--Spring. Where it's semi-warm one day and goes back to (wimp Californians) a tad chilly the next. Not complaining, I like it. --The ducks are back to occasionally flopping into our little swimming pool - they're not very timid re: human approach so hubby ends up chasing them out with the pool net stick. I think it's hilarious but apparently their poo encourages black mold on pool walls etc which is very hard to get rid of once if it takes hold, so hubby is very annoyed. Resulting in my great entertainment. Other than that, all the usual stuff. Constant fluctuations of boredom and happy contentment. And ofc, the hubster that makes me giggle (not just chasing ducks, ofc, heh). Very important, that.1 point

I've updated the mod to version 1.1. What's different: Direct approval changes: Added display of 722 direct approval changes throughout the game. Those happen without topic triggers when two characters interact with each other, mostly in direct companion dialogue. User-friendly topic names: Changed technical topic names("Pro-Humor", "Pro-Duty" etc) to the exact names they have in the game("Lighthearted", "Dutiful"). You can see an example of how both of those look on the mod page's latest screenshots.1 point

Some updates: Conversation & Quest node links can now be deleted, just click the red button: If there's only one remaining link to a node, a confirmation popup will be displayed. If the last link to a node is deleted, the node will still remain in the Nodes list but won't be accessible from the GUI. (I'm not sure that I want to implement some clean-up logic here, maybe at some point expose a list of all nodes and let the user manually delete unplaced nodes from there?) Regarding String Tables (including some stuff I've not documented yet because lazyness) If a mod has StringTable entries with indexes that exceed the highest vanilla indexes, then the lowest of those indexes would be used as the "mod start index". If the user tries to add a new entry and a start index hasn't been detected, a new value between 1'000'000 and 2'000'000'000 will be assigned instead. (Always ending with '000' to indicate in the stringtable files that it's the start index). After that, the new StringTable entries will be added starting from that index. High values and wide ranges are necessary to minimize the risk of mods generating overlapping keys, but won't look nice in the editor... I've now made it so that if a start index is detected, entries exceeding that number will be shortened down to "k+x" in the gamedata editor, where x is the offset from the start index. An example from Spoils of Caed Nua:1 point

I learnt an important lesson about finding items and then cleaning screens when you leave an area in Kingmaker I have mod configured that gives me an option to clean every area of items I leave and it helps with save file bloat and makes the game more stable Anyway I am busy with the Varnhold Vanishing quest and I am finding the Sisters for the barbarians and at the end you go back to the barbarian camp and the Sisters end up attacking you. I killed them and looted some items and then left for Valley of the Dead and cleaned the area in the barbarian camp But I didnt loot the one Incense Burner and you need all 3 to enter the Valley , I missed it and I ended up cleaning all items. Luckily I save regularly and I just restored to before the Sisters battle. But the lesson of the story, I am now very careful before I say " clean " when I leave an area because this one oversight meant I could unintentionally not being able to finish the game0 points
