  1. I'm playing some more user modules for Solasta, which are a bit hit and miss in terms of quality. Currently I'm running through the "Depths of Darkness" module, which is a re-creation of the old "The Sunless CItadel" PnP module for DnD. It's a pretty decent effort compared to many of these user creations, so I'd recommend it if you like Solasta. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2860765207

  2. Haven't really been paying attention to it so much last few years. Atl is above .500, so that's good.

  4. Nah, it's what the average person says when you show them a south african url and ask which country it's from. Sounds like the company is now managed much the same as Zimbabwe though.

  5. Hey, The Sisters of Mercy is the Goth band. Listened to them a lot in my formative years. Anyway, here's the lady who belongs in the 70-ties in the best sense of the world. (The video almost makes me wish for a nuclear winter for some reason though)

  6. Bought a Narwhal in Starfield, my first class C ship. It is pretty fancy. I don't love the 3 deck setup, but it has a ton of reactor power. Now I need to level up my command skill so I can have a full crew. Oh and my wife Sarah died. So sad. I guess I'll just cry on Andreja's shoulder for a bit. Also Mickey Caviar is my favorite NPC.

  7. I think beckoner is superior cause the troubador skellies are too strong. Still have to kill them manually.

  8. I think we already talked about it, but when I play the game for the first time, I always play vanilla - maybe outside unofficial patches if the game benefits of it. To me devs have same authorship over their work, as writers or film makers, so in general I am not interested in mods, and prefer to consume media “as it was intended”. Not that you are wrong. I do think Bethesda games are more of a platform than a game, and therefore I have no interest in what they sell.

  9. Dread Delusion I've added spoiler tags for the areas outside of the starting one (and some random island), though the screenshots are rather spoiler-free as is and do not show the main story or dialogues. The Endless Realm. Fully upgraded the manor. The Clockwork Kingdom. The Underlands (aka the late-game).

  10. I suppose, bundles count as sales. https://itch.io/b/2506/queer-games-bundle-2024-with-10-option There are quite a few jam games (i.e. very short to play and fast to develop), but also some decent VNs, point&click adventures, and puzzles. I went for the pay-what-you-can option and ~£20. --- https://www.humblebundle.com/games/future-games-show-discovery The bundle has Gloomwood and and En Guade!. --- https://www.humblebundle.com/games/stories-pride

  11. Some old British... "something". Not really sure what it is. I remember buying Floodland when the CD came out in 87. Liked it enough to pick up a few more of their back catalogue. Floodland was produced by Jim Steinman iirc, which probably explains why an unknown band suddenly turned out hits edit: almost forgot one of my favourites of the late 80's, just before the music died

  13. Imo Berserker because Blood Thirst and a heal-on-kill pet in combination with killing your vessels is great.

  14. Never said I'll never play it. BG3 is a very unique game for me in that it is a game I soooooooo very much *wanted* to love, because of how much I love the first two games. So that's why I spent so much time on the Larian forum talking about the game, and the things I was unhappy with, in a desperate hope someone at Larian would give my feedback some consideration and the final game at release would be at least okay. As such, launch day for BG3 was a bitterly disappointing day for me. But I feel that in time my strong negative feelings toward the game will soften and I'll be open to playing it. I also feel, very strongly, that given the many, many core elements of the game (TB combat, all the cinematics and voice acting, the whole tadpole system, origin companions, to name the main ones), that I detest, it is reasonable for me to not pay anywhere near full price for the game. So I'll wait and get the game when it is around 50% off, give or take.

  15. Huh. I'm now kind of wondering if Ann Way was Matt Smith's grandmother or something, because that's an uncanny resemblance.

  16. ZA-UM continues to be a mess, with Disco Elysium spinoff canceled, and more people fired. I don't think ZA-UM owners are helping their case, at least as far as publc perception is concerned. Have no clue how their legal battle with Disco Elysium creative leads progresses. https://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/game-development/for-a-while-it-seemed-like-miracles-were-possible-and-with-them-redemption-a-follow-up-to-the-legendary-disco-elysium-might-have-been-ready-to-play-within-the-next-yearzaums-devs-loved-it-management-canceled-it-and-laid-off-the-team/
