  1. Blade Runner 2049 (2017). I had a pretty tough go with this film the first time around years ago, but I liked it a bit more this second watch. It's still too long, too sterile, too Villeneuve, but as far as kind of unnecessary sequels go, I guess it got the job done alright. I shouldn't re-watch movies I didn't like the first time, because sometimes I have to re-evaluate what I previously thought and experienced, and then sometimes I have to take back the nasty things I said about them. I don't like that. Nasty things should stay true forever.

  2. Hi, sorry it took so long. First I was sick in bed (had a weird one-day fever that went very high and then just vanished ) and then the forum broke down for a bit. Anyway, what @thelee said basically. SC Fighter isn't very interesting in general because multiclasses with fighters fulfill most roles better due to nice synergies. And what makes some SC of other classes interesting is often some devastating damaging effect (Meteor Shower, Maelstrom, Whispers of the Wind and so on) which the Fighter doesn't have. That's not really a problem of the fighter alone: SC Rangers, Ciphers, Chanters and Paladins also don't have many fans. For me a SC Fighter looks appealing when I look at Clear Out and then either Clean Sweep or Clear the Path. And most often it's about debugging with a weapon modal (more me mostly morning Stars or clubs with the -25 fortitude or will debuff). For example I once played a hireling Black Jacket SC with high DRX and high INT who had a morning star setup, a mace, a club and a flail - so that he could debuff fortitude, armor, will and reflex with Clean Sweep in a wide area. This is very helpful for fellow AoE casters. I mean to drop a certain defense by 25 and do what Clean Sweep does at the same time is very nice. You could also do that with a multiclass and Clear Out. But it takes forever to get there and you will be confined to the cone - while the circular AoE covers so much more area. Yet... it's still pretty boring. I didn't even play the Tactician I mentioned above in a real playthrough. I merely tried out an idea I had and stumbled over the effect I mentioned above. But if you want to go SC Fighter I would focus on Clean Sweep or Clear the Path and try to combine an AoE weapon with it. This has a devastating AoE damage potential like a very powerful spell and also does good CC. With a Tactician something like Hand Mortar+Blinding Smoke would make a lot of sense because you can distract a lot of mobs (often all of them) and then not only get 1 discipline because you maybe interrupted an action but also because all enemies are flanked from Blinding Smoke. This might grant enough discipline to fuel Clean Sweep or Clear the Path a lot more times. Note that Clear Out and upgrades hit the first target twice. So even against single foes it's a good damage tool.

  3. Hey everyone! Sorry for the trouble with the forums today. We ran an update that had some issues and it took awhile to fix. If you notice any additional problems, please let us know so we can take a look and get things back on track for you. Thanks and sorry once again

  5. I just added experience with console commands to my character to test some builds. I played around a little bit with no cheating, and I still encountered this bug, so it's probably a game bug.

  6. So there is a bug with Blackjacket Rapid Recovery. When I pick up this talent, it gives me both Rapid Recovery and Constant Recovery.

  8. What do you think about Community Patch Biting Whip ? 20% Raw damages lash is great, but is it as great as +100% focus generation ? CP biting whip : x1.2 damages x0.6 (x0.5x1.2) focus compared to draining whip Ascendant CP biting whip : x1.2 damages x0.72 (1.5/2.5 x1.2) focus compared to draining whip Now the comparison change in case of underpenetration. The issue is Cipher is one of the class who has the least penetration issues due to hammering thoughts. Currently, I have never been able to justify picking CP Biting over draining whip, even if I think the change was in the right direction. @Boeroer, what is your opinion ? (I know you use CP, so your oponion on this topic is especially valuable) Picking Biting/Draining whip is about as committing as picking a subclass, yet one of the choices still feel subpar (even if in a much less immediate way than in vanilla) Side note along the way : did you know Soulblade focus at start of a given battle depends on the accrued focus (per kills) at the end of the previous battle ? Still means (usually) less starting focus than other subclass, yet fun to know.

  9. French version released : Deadfire Balance Polishing Mod at Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) I call it 3.0 and @SenSx and @Zahuaisready are credited for it (as @Ivanfyodorovich for veteran's maneuver by the way)

  10. I have found the mod für bigger font on steam. Great the font is now able to read. Unfortunately are the dialog Screens now cut off so that I cant See the hole dialog. Maybe this is because the mod is for steam Deck. Is there a way to scale the dialog Screens for normal steam?

  11. Not that it applies to this fora, but just to say, I still don't use Steam Overlay/their screenshot taking options. Although I did notice in NMS that even with Steam's overlay off, using NMS's built-in photomode to take a shot (vs. my 3rd party screen-capturing it instead) seems to stick shots into Steam's game embeddable pic folder system automatically regardless. Although it still sometimes takes terrible quality even with that uncompressed aspect checked etc. Anyway, I like my 3rd party screenshot/vid programs and my own file system organization schemes too much. So on the very rare occasion I want to embed a pic link into a steam forum instead of text link, I use Steascree. I have for years. It's no longer updated/worked on, but I probably used it last a year or so ago - it still worked just fine. https://steascree.download/ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steascree

  12. I like it when zombies somehow never managed to lose their hats off their head when they died, or in all the days/months they've been lurching around as a zombie. Or maybe zombies covet hats as reminders of better days and go around picking them up, moaning "braiiiinnnnsss, braiiiinsss ... haaaaaaaat!" It's even better if the game lets you loot/take their hat to wear yourself. Not that they typically allow that, but just saying.

  13. Oh, you mean the man, myth, legend, who also craves a good skeleton massacre and looooves using The Willbreaker to debuff everyone's Fort/Will into oblivion and also is biased towards casting Draining Touch from a grimoire and switching to another grimoire as a Sage for insane attack resolutions? That guy?

  14. I wish my reflexes would be that good Sometimes, I am getting to much comfortable in the game, and then I always do some stupid stuff, like run in between three Painting Guardians, directly into a backstab

  17. Probably old news, but the new games on Steam have started to explicitly state how the generative AI was used during the development. So far, 3 of anime-style products released today have it. Examples: I suppose, it allows to make informed decisions about purchasing them, which would be harder if it was a tag that could be added to the Ignore list (granted, mine is already full). E.g., DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is ML, so the text-based disclosure seems like the best solution.
