  1. Despite that, it looks like correct tactical decision, all I have seen from Russian side for last two months messages like this, but in even more pessimistic and gloomy mood If Russia was not able to supply Kherson through Dnepr, it’s silly to presume, that UA is thinking, that they would be able to sustain supply themselves It’s definitely one big bait, which is working good, as they moved some time ago the best UAV unit’s here (Magyar’s Wings), which are hunting the Russians day and night.

  2. Found the Politico article, it is the same guy as reported by Reuters. https://www.politico.eu/article/ex-russia-wagner-officer-russia-atrocities-ukraine-war-crimes-igor-salikov/

  3. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/happy-holidays-with-gog-rpgs A GOG bundle from HumbleBundle. I already own most of the games on different platforms, including GOG, but it is nice to see a DRM-free bundle.

  4. Please do not under any circumstances ever link to the Bild. This is the worst news organization in all of Germany and no credibility of any kind should ever be given to it.

  5. Well, the difference in efficiency provided by TSMC's 5N process node compared to Intel 7 cannot fully be made up by tuning, and even though you can do more for better effect on an Intel system by undervolting and setting power limits, physics gonna physic... If I were GREG I'd complain about them primarily using 7-zip for productivity efficiency under power restraints. The Ryzen CPUs are really far ahead in this particular workload, while it is much closer (or the other way around) in others. Limiting the CPUs to 95W and performing the Chromium compilation test would probably yield more favorable results for Intel - or at least results that aren't as much in favor of the AMD CPUs for efficiency. I posted about that before, but Der8auer made some tests back when the 13900K released, and locked to 95W it roughly performed the same in his benchmarks as a 7950X in Eco mode (i.e. a 95W power limit). GREG should really get the feeling that Steve picked the 7-zip test primarily to make a point because that is the single one of his productivity benchmark suite that will very clearly be in favor of AMD in terms of efficiency even if you'd lock both CPUs to the same power limit. That was very much a forgone conclusion. Well, GREG set himself up for it by saying all workloads, so sucks to be GREG. The argument that you could beat the larger 3rd level cache in gaming by power limits was also not very well thought out, to put it mildly. The 7800X3D performs exceptionally well even with its artificially crippled clock speeds (well, crippled might be a strong word, but at least compared to the other Zen 4 X3D CPUs, they are) due to having much less cache misses. The gap between the 7950X3D and the 7800X3D in games that do not have scheduling issues is so small that really proves how little the X3D's performance is reliant on clock speeds. That is how the 5800X3D is still sitting very close to the top of the charts in spite of having an older architecture, and the 7800X3D can be that efficient in gaming. That will only change if we either start running into a meaningful performance gain reduction for larger 3rd level caches (technically we're already looking it at, what with the difference between the regular Zen 4 parts and the X3D ones being less than the difference in Zen 3, but the scaling is still more than great) or when Intel just does the same with their new packaging and interconnection technology. The latter will come eventually, if all goes well, the former may or may not happen depending on cache sizes, game development and increasing memory bandwidth, or physical restrictions due to SRAM no longer scaling with node shrinks.

  6. More Dark Souls Remastered in the last two days. I have finally reached Anor Londo, after defeating Quelaag and Iron Golem. I have cheesed him with summoning Tarkus , but Quelaag has surprised me few times, as I was using the Mildred summon, and when I had not seen Quelaag face to face, I was missing her explosion channel, which resulted in me being toasted Today, I have decided to go back to Asylum to visit Stray Demon, and I almost given up the fight after five attempts, where I ended up toasted in less than 10 seconds I have actually never fought him with melee character, so I had not much clue how to perform against him. Luckily, I told myself one more try, where I got asskicked in little bit more than 20 seconds, but I have noticed some interesting patters of his behaviour, when I have reached his back after outrunning his explosions So I went for “one more try before going to bed” The next try was a winning try, but I feel like it took me eternity. I had to outrun each of his attacks, and immediately running back using running attack for 69-88 damage, using lightning spear, which I found in Sen’s Fortress mimic chest. Sometimes I was able to land 2 attacks, sometimes I have missed him to to strange hitbox of his small tail and he had 5250 HPs The bonus of the day was, that immediately after the fight, I have found out, that I had enough titanite to upgrade my spear to +3, which would increase my damage by more than 20% Next goal is getting through the Silver Knight Archers guarding the entrance to the Anor Londo castle, which I was never able to get through without cheesing them with poison arrows, which I currently do not have Will be “fun”

  7. Would it be possible to add a transmog feature to the game. So of the best armor sets/pieces are not the best looking over all...cough cough the moth head piece. I would a feature to where I can make the moth head piece or any other piece of armor look different and be able to wear an armor I prefer but have the best set on for my character stats wise as well.

  8. Starting from scratch is how I end up with relatively many characters (7 on my "main" Exiled Lands save, 3 in Siptah, and 2 in a very "throw all the mods at it and see when it breaks"-game). I just keep the same save and swap between them occasionally to fix up damage done by patches, or to continue/expand some build when new things release or new ideas come up. Doing it this way also means I kinda force myself to be a bit more creative than I'd otherwise be when choosing base locations as some spots are now already occupied by previous characters. Modwise I've mostly been running the same ones for years now as I try to keep my save as stable as possible given I don't tend start over from scratch.

  10. As the title says: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-former-soldier-wants-testify-icc-over-war-crimes-witnessed-2023-12-19/ There was in our news today a news about Politico article about Russian officer serving in army for 25 years and ex-wagner mercenary who fled Russia, after he refused an order from superior to execute civilians. I am wondering if it is the same person, as I am not able to find the mentioned Politico article.

  11. Yeah, hubby finally got someone to mention air suspension (whatever that is/why it's different, I wouldn't know, hah), and said BMW/Mercedes were more likely to have that, or something. Also something about specific vehicle car seat design, maybe also related to air, or er ... I forget. Said hubby's van actually had an option for such seats back when, and one might be able to find one at a junkyard and just install it. *shrug* We weren't planning on buying a new luxury car, just to say. He just wanted to drive newer cars/check if they would be any better than what we have, and/or buy something used if he could find anything, or figure out whether he's just stuck so to speak. When he has to go back down south to original office he's renting cars, to try some that way, too. It's all an adjustment. I can picture eventually I'll be running around town picking up hobby parts, snacks and beer for him.
