I have started Dark Souls Remastered for the first time. This time, I am planning to go with more melee focused character. Last time, I had to go full caster, as I was to clumsy to defeat Ornstein and Smough we’ll see How will I fare this time I have defeated two bosses so far. Taurus and Gargoyles and I have already died 16 times next in line is Capra Demon, who stopped me very first playthrough for a year or so, as he was impossible for me to defeat, untill I’ve learned how to make the fight easier, with cleverly using the arena layout

There is a bug that the game triggers passive buffs from characters not in your active party. If I check the log, the passive abilities that affect allies, that the custom npc I created has, trigger even though he is lounging on the ship. Kinda means you can probably create a slew of custom npcs, give them passives and park them on the ship

Interesting how they adapted random encounters travelling on the world map to the setting. While travelling in your void ship, you have some resource to allow your navigator to plot a safer course, which I guess reduces the chance of random encounters. I decided to do an unsafe journey, which resulted in crew members going mad, bursting into my quarters and trying to kill me, alongside some daemonettes. My party started trickling in after a while as reinforcements for me. I explored a spaceship adrift in an uninhabited star system. God those were annoying, tedious fights, with a type of enemy that did nothing but give temporary hit points to all enemies every turn. And those things respawned. I barely survived the boss fight at the end. Funny thing is, the sister of battle went from feeling useless to feeling useful halfway through. Guess I am beginning to learn her play style. On another note, this game is Bruce-friendly: you can romance Jae.

I would propose that Tyreek has had a profound effect on Tua's success (and Mahomes' for that matter). It's not a fair comparison because you have to go back to last season for it, given that Tyreek has been healthy, but Tua's stats when he has Tyreek to throw to and when he doesn't are night and day different. Look at Mahomes ever since they traded away Tyreek. They're still winning games, but the Chiefs are far more leaning on their D these days. I've seen Mahomes struggle to score and come up short more times this year alone than I watched him pretty much the entire time they had Tyreek on the Chiefs. This is just speculation on my part, but I think that if you take Tyreek out of the game and replace him with average WR that would have a greater negative effect on the Fins' fortunes than taking Tua out of the game and replacing him with average QB. For me, that's the measurement for MVP, what if you replaced said player with an average player of the same position, how much impact would that have on the game? As far as the Iggles suddenly being a bad team because muh Boys beat 'em up, I don't buy that. They lost to the 49ers and the Cowboys in back to back weeks, 2 of the league's best teams. It's not like they got punched in the mouth by the Cardinals or anything... The Iggles will be fine, they're not last season's Vikings who we all knew would crumble as soon as the playoffs started. I don't think they're as good as last year's Iggles, but they're still a contender even after we just put the boots to them. Now, if they lose again next week to the C-Hox (and the C-Hox will be playing for their playoff lives) then a) I will be happy b) we can have the are the Iggles in trouble talk then.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Sounds like the interface could be more............balanced.

Sling Blade (1996). Recommended to me by someone, I didn't read anything about it before starting: I heard Billy Bob Thornton do his ridiculous voice and I was like "oh gosh, I'm not going to be able to do this". Completely wrong, it was a wonderful little movie. Utterly predictable in broad strokes (I knew what the ending was going to be within like 15 minutes), but it's the kind of film where that's totally okay and in fact probably preferred over doing something unexpected and unfitting. It also helps when you have a child actor play a main character and do really great, especially for a film like this.

I can agree on everything but the writing. Obsidian is way ahead of Owlcat in writing and character development, and that is kind of important in an RPG.

I just found it on the Steam forum. The game has formations. They just hid them very well. As in, most idiotic place to put something award 2023 goes to Owlcat. Go to Settings (hit Escape). Fourth option, under Save Game, Load Game, Cooperative Mode, and above Options, is Formation.

Boy was that GTA VI trailer sh*t! Half the trailer it's women shaking their oversized butts...isn't that something from 10 years ago?! ...and @Lexx is right, the combat is BOUND to be crap. These folks could never get the gunplay/gunsound right in any of the GTA games.
