If you could choose a Pillars of Eternity class to come into Avowed as a DLC tree, which class would you choose?
Priest would be great too. Mainly if don't come only with healing.

Showcase of 80 abilities from early build of the game
PaleElfPsion replied to Silvaren's topic in Avowed Characters Builds, Strategies & the Unreal Engine (Spoiler Warning!)So sad that they took away so many cool stuff. Honestly, I would pay AAA price for Cipher abilities.

Lighting - 1. Changing colours (Groups of light at same time) - 2. floor lighting
Getting into building. I like lighting up the place, using colours to change the ambience. In that, using a lot of lights it can be painfully slow when changing lighting. A QOL improvement would be is to allow us to assign a switch to each light, and we use a single switch for a group of lights to change colours, and therefore have a few switches that'll change a bunch of lights each. Even though I'm not into effects, you could probably add effects beyond just colours into the lighting via the switches, similar to the RGB in PCs. It would be amazing in playgrounds for people setting a mood, such as a boss fight under red lights brightening at the speed of breathing. So I have seen people lighting under floors. but I have noticed when doing it myself, I have to use a lot of lights, and it causes a bad moving square patterns appearing that is annoying and not what I was expecting. In that though, it might actually be difficult to fix. It might be easier to just be able to use lighting resources (such as sap, dry grass etc) to infuse glow into the floors or walls that looks like there is lights behind them. You can then allow the floors to be assigned to a switch and we can change the glow whenever we want.

New bug in Aunties Choice questline
Joe Robinson replied to Jaimo150's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Just noticed that the status of this bug has changed from "Investigating" to "Fixed in a future patch." So....I guess that's good...at some unknown future date... Aren't hot fixes a thing? Kinda frustrating. Hopefully this future patch is soon.

- The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication
The Pitt/HBO, ssn2, eps 8-9 Finally starting to get more interesting/compelling. Both in terms of hospital staff chrs, some patients, and a "tech/digital vs. analog" situation. Robby's arc (lead/Noah Wyle) this season is seeming fairly dark. Not in an over-dramatic way, it's more of a continuation of his 1st season state. Boyfriend on Demand/Netflix/k-drama --I only tried this one because of the cast list. A rom-com, where lead gal goes through usual IRL trials while testing this virtual-reality-bf tech (you wear a skinny eyepiece, maybe it connects to your brain, not sure). Apparently the best VR ever. The first episode was IRL setup, then the VR boyfriend stuff takes stage for a couple episodes. Those scenarios are big visuals and sometimes funny for ppl familiar with kdrama or k-romance webtoon tropes - more often it just feels like retread cheese. Beyond the stacked/pretty cast list, not even really guilty-pleasure/lulz binge worthy. I won't continue.- The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication

yeah, i feel the same. The game uses its own upscaler as an option to FRS and DLSS. Notice that the recommended specs are using an 8 gb card. That's pretty forgiving these days. If you are still on a 2080, it should be fine ? I definitely am picturing all the hype is going to = tons of people buying a game that ends up nothing like they were picturing. That's often the end case for hype. For one thing, it seems to be mashing together many styles and loops. It could feel too unfocused/messy, even re: discovery/exploration (my thing).JeremyW.Newman joined the community- The All Things Political Topic
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5780543-us-oil-prices-trump/ A bold marketing ploy, it might work.- Ingame movement cursor flickering
Click Test Now replied to Jerwin-'s topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)That kind of cursor flickering usually comes from mouse input conflicts or polling issues, especially in some games that handle raw input differently. Since you already lowered the polling rate and tested graphics settings, try a few other things: disable mouse acceleration or raw input in the game settings if available run the game in borderless windowed mode instead of exclusive fullscreen close Logitech G Hub or gaming overlays while testing try plugging the mouse into a different USB port It’s also a good idea to make sure the mouse itself is sending stable input signals. You can quickly check your mouse clicks buttons and polling behavior using tools on Click Test Now. You can test your mouse here http://clicktestnow.com/ It helps verify if the mouse is producing unstable input that could cause cursor flickering in games.- The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication

While I know it's been extensively reported he was I'm less than convinced that MBS was pro war. Very obviously risky for him and his country, and he had the experience of the Houthis embarrassing his army and air force- and hitting his oil facilities with cheap drones, and having difficulties sourcing patriots to defend from their sporadic attacks- for ten years to fall back on. Being willing to allow the use of facilities when it's inevitable is a bit different to actually advocating for it as Netanyahu assuredly did.- Picture of Your Games the 17th

I hope I'll be long dead before Jake Paul enters office.- Diabolical Drones of Doom still bugged as of v1.1
Despite the v1.0.6 fix the Diabolical Drones of Doom bug is still preventing me from finishing the bounty. Is there any way to force the last wave of drones to spawn, or do I have to ignore the quest and wait for a fix?Archivist_Ashe started following Diabolical Drones of Doom still bugged as of v1.1Rose Smith joined the community- The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication
Great, more shark movies. At least Sharknado is supposed to be silly. Does everyone understand that Sharks don't do well in shallow water? At least not these monsters that they are showing in the movie. Highly unrealistic. :pJesseJ081 joined the community- Cinema and Movie Thread: coming 2 a theater near u

One of the best things about being a gamer is looking at your list of unplayed Steam and GOG games and deciding what to play next Another best thing is finding a game on a sales special that you have always wanted to play I am finally playing Red Dead Redemption 1, I have waited 14 years to play this game on PC I spent close to 300 hours on RDR2 and Im looking forward RDR1 🤠- Random video game news... video random news game
Crimson Desert's Steam store page now says Denuvo included. Which doesn't bother me personally. But it always feels a bit sneaky (or something) when a game adds such after it's already been available for pre-order for a bit etc. vs. just doing it/saying they will from the get-go, even if those that do mind can simply cancel their pre-orders. I'm still going to be waiting for those initial reviews re: gameplay/mechanics. Like, I'd like to know more about this settlement feature etc. I have high interest/hopes - the no chr-xp-levels aspect also interests me - but it's not quite a "must buy" for me yet. Almost, but not quite.- PS5 version
Hey Obsidian, I play Avowed since it's been released on PS5 and want to thank you for this great RPG - incredible what you've accomplished and how beautiful your world is! Also it's a huge playground for explorers and most of the time rewarding. Two suggestions for upcoming patches though: Please implement a torch or lantern! I'm for 40 hours in the game and there is absolutely no trace of a lightsource to carry with me. That's a shame, especially because the lighting of other sources is excellent. And second, if possible, please implement some changing weather conditions in the areas, at least clear skies and rain, and wind (for trees and leaves to move more). Would add much to the atmosphere! Thanks again and keep up the good work Andy - The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication
