  2. Excellent question! The doc is going to talk to a specialist and then get back to me, even though I was curious they have a tonne of work so I didn't ask many questions. The xray I saw it looked like the two pieces hadn't touched and healed together but went their separate ways. I'll be asking more over the phone when they call.

  4. https://wccftech.com/dragon-age-dreadwolf-has-everyone-at-bioware-really-happy-with-how-it-turned-out/ It's the #1 game in my Steam wishlist, so I want it to be good <fingers crossed>. Don't have much else in the way of what I want: a party-based fantasy RPG that is NOT turn-based combat.
  5. I just came back from the hospital, they did a cat-scan on my feet, and yeah, it's still broken. Yay.
  6. Interesting...I copy/paste your exact search terms ('New Zealand' 'snap election' and 'Robert Muldoon') and I get the same result as Malc. Just curious, what are you using as a search engine?
  7. It works fine for me now, many thanks ! Don't miss the Xoti now ! Wael knows what happened, as you said.
  8. Weird, do the search now and I do at least get two relevant videos- but not that one. (then Reagan meeting Muldoon, Reagan vs Mondale, Reagan's 1984 SotU, Reagan's year in 1984, a random John Key video (at least he was a PM here, just 30 years later than Muldoon), a video about the Filipino (?) 1986 snap election, Mitch McConnell 1984 vs 2014, 2 x Boris Johnson calls a snap election, and most randomly the All Blacks drawing with Scotland in Rugby)
  9. I think I put around 250 hours into WOTR so far. Completed it once, about halfway through the second play through. I have an unfortunate tendency to tunnel vision on a game that interests me until I feel burnt out on it. Then put it aside for 6-12 months, pick up my last save and rinse and repeat. That being said, the Lich does play somewhat differently in combat compared to my first Barbarian/Trickster/Legend game. Also, skipping the puzzles wherever possible, because they aren't fun after the first handful. Not a min/max player, so focusing on necromancy over flashier spells changes the balance of some encounters. Some easier, some harder, compared to brute force approaches. edit: later boss fights needs support spells more than anything anyway, at least that was my impressions from the first time
  10. Larian were one time working on one. Beware, a very young Swen Vincke inside. :d The travelling and camping system in both Pathfinder games is clearly inspired by the Realms Of Arkania games (the first two that had a travelling and camping system, that is). Realms Of Arkania = Dark Eye / Das Schwarze Auge.

  12. I gonna finish this Azata route and then call it a day. Pathfinder setting is overall decent enough. Rogue Trader does not interest me. Who knows, maybe Owlcat will be doing a Dark Eye game.
  13. Okay, I wasn't able to identify the root cause, so I made what could be called a "hard correct". I just re-created a copy of the rotten part of the ability and I use it to replace the failing one. Wael knows what happened, but at least it works now. You can use the file before I include it in next release. gn.binding_block.zip
  14. Rishi Sunak announces UK general election for July 4th. Bit boring really, snap election announcements should have some added interest about them* and getting audiobombed by a Labour supporter's music ain't enough. Might have expected them to cling on as long as possible given that polling has them losing by a landslide. *weirdly there doesn't seem to be a single video of Robert 'Piggy' Muldoon's iconic 1984 snap election announcement on youtube**. Get roaring drunk and make the announcement complete with slurred speech and swaying to a random reporter expecting a comment on something completely different in front of your clearly appalled party president, now that's mem(e)orable. You can even get a pithy title for it like 'Schnapps Election'- sadly his snap election announcements were by far the most competent thing about his leadership. **what is up with the absolutely awful changes to the search algorithms lately that make them utterly useless? I don't want a million Reagan vs Mondale videos thanks, that's why I specified 'New Zealand' 'snap election' and 'Robert Muldoon' you complete clown.
  15. Well, for all my frustrations, I've put over 80 hours into that WOTR save over the course of over two years (despite never finishing it). And Kingmaker I DID actually finish. In hindsight, that also benefited from a change of pace every once in a while. There's even some easy detective work in that chapter with the plague spreading, and you tasked to get to the source of it. Plus, the nature of the campaign means that enemy variety was a tad higher in Kingmaker. Whereas it is mostly Demons in WOTR (which also means a lot of enemies with higher resistance to spells,.... which has side effects as to combat variety in itself as well. Btw. Unlike any other enemy defensive stats, NONE of the enemy difficulty settings makes this scale. It's the same resistance on lower as well as harder). I mean, Owlcat's basic idea of encounters is mostly stat block vs buffs as is. Gone are the ideas of even ancient Icewind Dale 2 toying with the environment as a factor (barrels, goblin wardrums that when not destroyed would call for reinforcements, ambushes with archers protected /harder to reach because of walls). Owlcat CAN do setpiece (see Oleg's). However, most of the time, they copypaste an enemy stat block, and have you running into that over and over. edit: As to Larian, I've never finished DOS as well for similar reasons. The first map obviously had seen the most luvin' (Early Access). I still fondly remember the encounter with the bomb/s on the graveyard. But: As soon as the second map, you'd run into the same orcs for a while over and over. Their combat system may have been nice. Their encounter system outside a few unique encounters got progressively worse though. Plus, unlike BG3, DOS is a game with a heavy combat focus as well. Every path through every map is gatekept by an enemy. The alternatives to combat aren't there. So the game would rely far more on superior encounter design than BG3.
  16. Delicious in Dungeon 8 and 9 Somehow Laios didn't know his sister and Marcille went to school together, despite all the time the spent as a group in their adventures. I know they've been eating monsters since episode 1, but episode 9 is literally "if you can't beat them, eat drink them". Tensei Slime 55 The Crusaders being beaten by goblins was hilarious. This is an entirely different level from most other fantasy stories. Moonlit Fantasy 20 The plot just skyrocketed with the momentum from the previous episodes.
  17. https://steamcommunity.com/games/1184370/announcements/detail/4170974735557630184?snr=2___ Looks pretty Owlbrew Ranger - Sable Company Marine - potentially gets a superpet. Magus - Bladebound - looks like they also get a pet, in the form of an animated weapon. Warpriest - Mantis Zealot - Cult Leader alternative with locked diety, fighting style, and weapon type. Kineticist- Kinetic Sharpshooter - looks like it uses bows to shoot blasts or something. Arcanist- Magic Deceiver- Much more limited slots but gets to make custom spells. Probably a cluster****. All things considered, I think the SCM and Bladebound show some promise depending on pet implementation while Mantis Zealot is going to be reliant on Sawtooth Sabers in game being good. I'm not optimistic about the Magic Deceiver and Kinetic Sharpshooter seems redundant for a class that is already ranged focused.

  19. As I remember, Elryn's Jacket is fixed in current patch. I'm not sure that Lavender Wreath and Binding Rope are bugged, but the behaviour is what it is supposed to be. If Elryn's Jacket is actual fixed, the build is viable imho, without it, it lose some points.
  20. Gorthfuscious dont read too much into this, this is the second time the US has done this with specific sanctions against ICC prosecutors and it didnt work last time Biden has to agree to it but its not going to change or influence the ICC decision to issue the warrants. The US doesn't fund the ICC and its not a member The main reality will continue, these 5 people cant travel to any country that is an ICC member. Does this matter? I think it does matter but its more symbolic but the ICC must continue to do the work it does and countries like the US should stay out of its prosecutorial decisions
  21. The Build Compendium thread says: "NOTE: This build relies on equipment that is currently (as of patch 3.03) bugged. Unless Obsidian fix those items, this build will remain not viable." But here there are alternatives. Does this mean the build is fine with the alternatives? Both this build and the compendium thread was managed by Andrea so I'm not sure whats up. I also only ever played on the last patch and I still don't know if Riposte stuff works since every now and then I see an old build here using it and I'm like ???? Appreciate the help and sorry for the Necro.
