And another thing... Drogan was sitting on the ground, still... not far away and weighted down but the night king picks out Viserion who is flying and further away. Either he was showing off by passing up an easier shot for a harder one or Viserion was wearing a red shirt.  Seeing as how Drogan was a more developed character and Rhegal and Viserion are not we know the answer.

If I were Rhegal I'd be a little worried. He's got a red shirt on too.

Just caught up with Preacher, and perhaps its explained in the comic, but why

is Jesus' 25th generation all inbred? Both Jesus and the baby momma died instantly and the baby was whisked away. So then they beed that child with some random woman every time they need a new generation....so what gives? Reading too much into it?

Yes, there is a bit more explaination in the comics, and the story basically ran that they kept trying to produce a "breeding pair" each generation to keep the bloodline "pure".

Thus resulting in a very, very inbred and damaged "saviour" they could control when the time came.

/edit: Was pretty funny, otherwise I thought that last episode was quite boring. Oh, and I totally hate the season 2 Tulip story arc. I want that Tulip back who was able to craft a home-build rocket launcher and shoot down a helicopter.. this whiny something is just slow and annoying now.

Agreed! I actually fast forwarded through all the Tulip parts of the last episode because I'm tired of it.

Ah, not so much.

Consider it this way, Viserion was named after Danny's brother who was a little ****.

Rhegal is named after her older brother who died..and who just happens to be Jon Snow's father.

Oh, the inbreeding was by design!

I did get a pretty good chuckle from the "Judas has the escape mules ready to go." line. Hell, it took me a minute to even realize that was a flashback.

Trying to recall back, I think it was a mixture of accident and then design.

Sort of they did it for several generations in that zealous "purity" zone not realising the actual result would be. Then by the time it's gotten through a few more generations and it becomes noticable, the people in control have become a touch more corrupt in their own way and keep doing it by design.

She wanted Sansa to execute all the Northern lords who dared to criticized Jon. How much more 'murderhobo' can you be? Then you threaten to murder your sister in cold blood. LMAO

Ther eis no logical defense of Arya's actions but there shouldn't be. She is a violent psycho. She has always been a psycho. Just the lack of parenting lets her be more  her true self. Of course, in the end, the show likely won't  go real dark with her because they need to keep her as the 'kewl hero' though, that said,   in various fan videos most wer elike 'WTF Arya wut u smokin'?"

She enjoys the mayhem. She enjoys the killing. She enjoys torturing people. She enjoys the chaos. She has always loved violence. It is her lifeblood.

volo you understand she is driven by the fact most of her family were executed and  betrayed? She is not some wanton, merciless killer with no conscience

She wants vengeance and justice, I completely understand her motives

She isn't  a baddie and the Freys absolutely deserved the outcome they  received as they were primarily responsible for the red wedding and Rob's killing

She wanted to murder  Stark allies simply because they dared to criticize her precious boyfriend Jon.

How is that not being a wanton merciless killer with no conscious?

And, she has ALWAYS enjoyed violence. She lives for it.   She finds it better than anything else inlcuidng her family, food, and sex and as far as I'm concerned anyone prefers violence to sex  is sick in the head.

Then she threatens to murder her own sister.

She accuses Sansa of  being a 'coward' when Arya has also shown 'cowardice' who watched their father die when Arya did the exact same thing.  Arya played servant girl to Tywin yet did nothing to him. She ran and allowed her sword instructer to be murdered. Hypocrisy is thy. I understand why she did it because she was a little girl so I don't expect her to be brave.

Also, her bringing up that little   'hero' Lyanna is stupid.  Easy to be brave surrounded by guards and allies. Let's see how much smack talk she would do if sourrounded by actual enemies and if she did let's see how long she would lost.

Arya is trash.

Thats definitely not how I see her character

She always wanted to be treated like her brothers and naturally she resented the fact she was suppose to be a lady and that excluded her from certain choices, like learning how to fight.

When most of her family were murdered she wanted to avenge them and the training at the Faceless man society gave her that....its a brutal world they live in volo and obviously her objective is to kill certain people...but its a valid motive

But who has she killed that didnt deserve it ? And you can see she had real love for her Dire Wolf so she isnt someone who lacks emotion or empathy

Cersei doesn't lack emotion or empathy.. doesn't make her any less evil.

So.. Stark loyalists who dare to criticize her boy friend Jon Snow is a valid motive to suggest to Sansa she should mass murder them all? Okayyyyyyyyyyyy....

So.. this episode proves that the entire WW mess is Dany's fault. She is the TRUE villain. If she didn't get up her ass that Westeros was hers by 'right' she never would have brought her dragons there, never would have brought them past the wall to rescue Jon and his gang and Viseron wouldn't have died.. and he wouldn't have been able to break the wall. WAY TO GO DANY BETRAYER OF THE LIVING!!!

And, what kind of soft core porn scene is that? And,s hort too. LMAO

LF's death was long time coming and so dissapointing that the brat Arya gets to do it. Of course, it took the biggest cheater in the show - Bran - to reveal his misdeeds. L0L

Arya is simply trash. What a horrible character. She simply was not needed there at all. It would have been better if Brienne had done the execution on Sansa's orders so FTFT.

Cersei continues to smack around her opponents yet still shows a little humanity not killing either of her brothers including Tyrion. Too bad she is still psycho. icon_razz.gif

Ha. If this show had guts they would have Dany order Jon's execution the moment she finds out that he has a better 'claim' to the throne than she does. Then all her all star worshippers turn on her and gangrape/murder her for the TRU KING OF THE NORTH *AND* SOUTH.

Muahahahahahaha.

P.S. Easily one of the smoother shows of this season largely because, comapritively speaking, not as many glaring loopholes as others.

Yeah. Littlefinger's end might be good fan service but the way it came about was pretty weak story-wise. Book Littlefinger was always a more interesting charcter than the TV version.

And I agree Volo's last sentence. Every other episode this year was trying to cram five pounds of stuff into a three pound bag. This one kept it's scope and was a little easier on selling the improbable. Expect for Littefinger's part anyway.

Weren't you going on about Arya killing Sansa previously? Looks like they baited you. Not sure how anyone could actually consider the two sisters offing one or the other. Crap plot, years going.

They didnb't bait me. I know she was never going to go through with killing Sansa. i've said that many times. the show doesn't have the balls to do that. My point was that Arya has always hated her sister and has always wanted to kill her.   The nice little bow at the end of their last scene  basically wraps up their story in a little bow.  That scene  was 'touching' but also shows how bogus the whole thing was. LF's death should have been at the level of Joffrey and Ramsay but it wasn't b/c it didn't work b/c the story, the writing, and the plot this season failed to make it matter. And, that starts with that trashbag Arya. It should be pointed out that it wa clear that it was Bran (with some help from Sansa) who  dealt with LF. Arya   threatened to murder Sansa. That wa slegit.

Arya is still trash and the show has no balls to carry through her story arch the way they should.

No way to know how Arya's story plays out in the book but it's worth noting in the book she carried out her hit and seems to have bought into the Faceless Men all the way. That seems to suggest book Arya is going down a very different road.

As someone pointed out earlier, the farther the show gets from the source material the more it leans on tired old TV tropes and loses what made it different. It started out with the characters serving the story. Somewhere around season 5 it became the characters became bigger than the story and now it's the other way around.

The way you react makes it seem riveting on some level. The Sisters Stark have bored me stiff. TV Arya is like some celebrated Tarantino revenge plot. Barely worth pointing out the silliness, really.

Littlefinger situation sums up the recent writing, relying on an unsubtle deus ex machina in lieu of actual plotting of either sense. Better pacing otherwise, but the series is basically a painted eggshell at this point, it's very pretty to look at but if you want an actual egg with some substance then you're out of luck.

I wouldn't be surprised if the show and book were fairly similar in that respect. Arya clearly isn't going to go full/ permanent faceless man in the books either, and one obvious way to break her out from that is to have run into someone on her list whether it's Meryn Trant or someone else.
