It's definitely taking off a bit in the final hours. That's nice to see. Beat the original PoE in total money raised, too! :-D

@Heijoushin - Beta is also available as an add-on for $20, IIRC.

So... with that goal done, what are the new ship types? I know very little about ships but I wouldn't say no to something big and grand to rule the seas from.

I'd actually like a caravel because you don't hear of them much in gaming.

I was just about to say caravel. I can think of several types of ship appropriate to the equivalent historical era, but it kinda depends on what sort of size limit Obsidian have in mind.

Honest truth, I apparently misunderstood the journals and thought Fulvano was that corpse you found in Anslog's Compass that got killed by Xaurips. So I was really confused by "Fulvano's Voyage" being this game's big epic-mega-quest. I thought he was a one-off joke character.

I think he was always intended as not-Drizzt.

Sailing was the thing Storm of Zehir was lacking the most, IMHO. I would have expected something like Uncharted Waters but in the Sword Coast.

I saw Fulvano as someone like Volo but not directly involved in the PC's quest.

well, shady should be happy.  happier. intelligent soulbound at $4.25... though not a companion.

oh, and glasses-girl for the 8th companion is silly.  got no problem with her wearing glasses, but doing so while wielding a sword is ridiculous. no doubt is shatterproof adra lenses.

HA! Good Fun!

Place your bets, everybody! Will Fulvano make another U-turn? Sail North? Or maybe he'll discover that West and East also exist?

Honestly, if your eyesight is bad enough I think you're probably better off wearing glasses (even if they risk getting smashed) than not. If I am going to do something where failure risks death I will take every advantage I can.

He will go down. As in under the waves.

If the accuracy is related to eyesight, sure, but what about someone who is used to animancy ?

Animancers aren't watchers, they can't see souls directly. Instead they use all sorts of instruments to do experiments with souls, much like scientists use all sorts o instruments to measure things that can't be observed directly. As such I doubt being an animancer would have any effect on ones ability to fight well.
